When I brought my car in it was running really rough. I thought it was going to be too expensive to fix. It’s a 13 year old car and i thought maybe it was a goner. Mike got me checked in and was very professional and friendly. The mechanic at Jack Dane (Eddie) quickly diagnosed 3 repairs that would fix the issue. The cost of the repairs was less than I expected and the car was running like new again in no time. I recommend Jack Dane Auto Service 10/10. I won’t go anywhere else.

I have been to Jack Dane’s twice and each time it has been top notch service. At the Rocklin location, Mike has been the front desk greeter and each time he is friendly, always listening and NOT distracted and really tries to get to the issue at hand before writing it up. It really makes a difference when the FIRST person one interacts with, when there is potential for a car expense that could be “high”, makes you (me) feel like there is no job more important than mine! I was very happy with Jack Dane auto service. I had a check engine light and was concerned. I got a referral from Costco auto service and followed up with yelp. Good reviews. Mike was very helpful and it was the thermostat in the engine. Everything went smoothly! I was so happy I came back this year when I thought I had a software problem. Needed a new battery and everything is running well. It's worth it, they know what their doing.

This is the 2nd time we brought a 20 year old car in for Jack Dane to check out why the check engine light was on. Both times with both cars, they gave us answers and did the correct repairs. They also checked each car to see what was needed to keep it going longer and safely on the roads. I would recommend if you are buying a second hand used car this would be the place to take it too to "check it out" ! It is worth the $250 to find out everything that needs to be done, correctly and honestly.

Couldn’t ask for more honest and helpful guys. Had an engine blow in my Focus. They wrote up a quote for a brand new crate motor, not a remanufactured one, and was still competitive with not only the dealership but other shops as well. I’m not saying it was cheap but you get what you pay for in a good way. Service was exceptional, their writer Mike is extremely professional and always had an answer for all my questions. Their techs had no issue with me asking for updates and pictures, unlike dealerships. All in all, the best way to describe my experience with them is honest, professional, helpful, and most importantly and hard to come by nowadays is their friendliness. Thanks again guys!
