***Update*** Jiffy Lube ordered a new splash shield from Honda and installed it to my son's car. Too bad they didn't own their mistake from the beginning, but my son had to push the issue. My son has been getting his car's oil changed here, and has been happy so far. Jiffy Lube 1505 W Hebron Pkwy, Carrollton, TX 75010. Just this Monday, two days ago, (today is Wednesday), he had the oil changed at Jiffy Lube, and he went home...less than 2 miles away. The next day, he's driving to work and the splash shield under his car comes loose. You know, the one the oil change guys have to remove, in order to change the oil. My son takes it up there this morning, and their response is, "you hit something" and they wanted to just zip-tie the shield in place. If my son hit something, why is the plastic not damaged?? The damage to the shield is from the shield falling loose while he was driving...and hitting lots of things. Obviously, Jiffy Lube created the situation where the screws came loose, or were never put back. They should stand up for their mistake! When my son tells them that a zip-tie is only a temporary fix, they offer to fix it if my son will go buy some screws. But the shield is damaged from falling loose on the road. Jiffy Lube...DO THE RIGHT THING!

DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE The first time I got my oil changed by them, they stripped and pushed the plug so badly that it was stuck with no hope of getting out. I took it back to them thinking they would at least try to fix the problem they created, but after 2.5 hours of screwing with my car, they damaged the oil pan so badly I had to pay $750 to have it completely replaced. The damage they did was so brutal that my mechanic friend could not even tell what part it was. They have made no attempt to right their wrongs in this situation. I am attaching a before and after of what they did.

Ratings is bad only for the wait time. You can’t get appointments now and you have to wait for a long time over here. I had been told only 15 mins wait time but spent 95 minutes over her in the waiting room. Was completely frustrated even though the service was good as I could have planned much better if I had known of this wait

This location totaled my 100,000 truck on Monday 10/9/23 by trying to start the engine with no oil in it...since then I have not been helped. I am not from Texas. I had to have my own vehicle towed to the dealership ($300+). I have had to stay in a hotel everyday since at ($125+) a night. I have had to get a rental to run errands at ($89+) a day and provide for myself and my partner (this was a work vehicle). This has been the worst experience of my life! I have been fussed out by the jiffy lube rep Justin Le Mears and corporate has not been a help! You would think bringing your vehicle to a trusted brand would uphold their guarantees...instead they have just kept reiterating they will not do anything and i need to contact the franchisee who owns that Jiffy Lube...yet i have no contact info for the franchisee and was not given any contact info, just Justin who keeps stating "He does not know!?!!!" When I asked Justin why he is not paying for my hotel room his response was "if I were to pay for your room and you trashed it, who would be responsible for that?" I said, "you because you trashed my truck...but then i was informed that the holiday inn could send him paperwork stating Jiffy Lube would only be responsible for the room and tax, i would pay the incidentals"...it has been 3 more days and Jiffy Lube has still not paid for my hotel fees or for my truck and Justin has said he does not know!?!!! My insurance and my warranty do not Want to pay because of jiffy lubes "willful negligence"...I am hoping for some relief in the next coming week. I do not recommend going to jiffy lube! I have dealt with very capable locations but this experience shows you never know when you'll be dealt a raw hand and will not be covered by Jiffy Lube...The man working on my truck did not even know he had to put his foot on the brake to start the truck! He was the manager of that location! This location needs to be shut down! From the start they should have been paying for a room for myself and my partner, my tow, my rental car!?!! Maybe they thought I would sleep on the street? I am confused and worried. This is definitely pain and suffering! The pictures below is the puddle of oil that came off my truck onto the tow bed in the dealership yard!!?!!! BEWARE!!! Update: I'm in my 5th week after they totaled my work truck and they still have not repaired my truck! I just recently hired a lawyer. Everyone who reads this, please pray for me! Obviously Jiffy Lube is ruining my small business on purpose at this point. Update 2nd time: I am working with my lawyer to resolve this. Jiffy Lube is still dragging their feet at 9 months! My small company is completely gone. I'm working for someone as I pay my bills and lawyer. My truck is sitting at the dealership in Texas. I've been paying for a new work truck that I haven't driven in over 9 months. All because I wanted to keep up with my oil changes with a reputable and well known mechanic chain.

Had a concern with a drain plug that was apparently “messed up” from a Take 5 oil location. The way they stressed me out saying Jiffy lube messed up my drain plug concerned me deeply. I expressed my concerns to BJ and he took my car in and within 20 min knocked it out and topped off my car. The plug wasn’t even damaged or looked bad. Maybe slightly stripped but the fact Take 5 turned me away and refused to give me an oil changed made me think it was far far worse. I appreciate BJ dealing with my frustration and helping me out within minutes. I definitely recommend people like this who want to help you. 5/5 stars for making my day far better.

(Wouldve been 3.5 stars, but there is a hidden fee they dont tell you about until after they are already servicing your car, should be illegal.) 3.5 stars because they try to sell you EVERYTHING. Like, I want an oil change, I dont want to see my filters on the table. And to be blunt, if you can take the old one out for free and put the old one back in for free, why not just charge a SMALL premium for the filter to make your service more appealing. That didnt make any sense at all. Also, half the things that are included in the service list, they dont actually do. They charge for each and every one of those lines. Overall, Not a very straight forward service, I only came here because my leg is messed up and I cant change my own oil right now, and I needed an inspection as anyway. Probably wont use Jiffy Lube again unless I only need an inspection. The main guy was really nice and talkative to the customer who paid more than me, I was treated quite different; Including a silent stare which apparently meant it was time to pay, I ignored it until he spoke to me (just for fun). I should put 2 stars, might change it to that later.

Terrible service. Promised services they couldn’t deliver. Provided advice against manufacturer’s suggestions so bad folks in the waiting room interrupted to recommend against the service provider. Supposedly checked the transmission (in preparation for a road trip, no previous issues) and filled the fluid- the transmission failed 20 miles later. Every time I’ve been, something brakes after I leave. Not only will I never return, I’d advise anyone to avoid. Convenience of location can’t make up for the absolute lack of quality. Nice enough folks working, just no one has any idea what they’re doing.
