The tall white guy left my oil cap off my engine and I drove for about 6 hours before I noticed oil all over my car and when I returned he said he would clean it but didn't even do that never again. I cant trust this location with my vehicle! This place is Unprofessional.

Iβm gonna have to give this place a little one star for the simple fact that they lack customer service skills & respect. Iβve gone to these people twice for a simple oil change on my e60 which theyβve done without issues. For some reason today they couldnβt because I brought the wrong βoilβ when I always use Castro full synthetic & even told him to pop the hood and check what the motor cover says βCastroβ. One other employee had also said they were closing in 30 minutes which was a lie because they close at 6:00 and it was only 4:31. These people lack professionalism and are amateurs especially the older guy who tries to come off as a smart ass.

I really appreciate the way Jiffy Lube keeps me on schedule with vehicle maintenance. I get reminders when I need an oil change, spark plug service, transmission service or an air filter change. To the owner and management of Jiffy Lube β University Parkway: How dare you operate a business with this level of negligence, disrespect, and outright incompetence. I visited this location while traveling during a long sabbatical. I drive a BMW M235i, heavily modified and engineered, assembled, and tuned by myself. I am an engineer with professional BMW experience, and this vehicle is part of an ongoing engine test program. This was clearly communicated. The problems began immediately. βΈ» 1. Arguing With the Customer About Oil Specifications Your employee Jose aggressively argued with me about the oil I suppliedβMobil 1 European Formula 0W-40 LL-01, which is BMW-approved and clearly labeled on the bottle. I had to politely correct him by physically showing the LL-01 certification. No customer should have to educate your staff on the most basic requirements of a BMW engine. βΈ» 2. Refusal to Respect Property & Security Jose insisted on driving my car into the bay without surrendering the key fob. That fob controls access to my glove box, which contains wallets, credit cards, cash, receipts, and personal documents. There was no legitimate reason for this insistence. βΈ» 3. Rummaging Through My Vehicle The interior cameras installed for engine diagnostics later showed Jose rummaging through my seat area, handling an expensive magnetic Bluetooth track camera system, and attempting to access my glove box. This is not speculation. This is recorded. βΈ» 4. Profanity, Disrespect, and Personal Attacks While inside the lobby, I overheard: β’ Profanity β’ Gender-demeaning language about women β’ Mocking and demonizing language directed at me personally This is not just unprofessionalβit is unacceptable. βΈ» 5. Destruction & Mockery of Custom Engine Components My vehicle uses a custom anodized, hand-lathed, billet oil filler cap, secured with a 17mm metric interface. It was a handmade gift from a client. Your staff: β’ Mocked the design β’ Threw it on the ground β’ Laughed as it fell This behavior is visible on video. βΈ» 6. Mechanical Negligence & Safety Risks After leaving, I was forced to pull over because: β’ The engine was underfilled (BMW N55 requires 6.9 quarts) β’ All rubber gaskets were removed and not replaced β’ This creates severe leak risk and catastrophic engine failure This engine produces ~480 horsepower, runs a single twin-scroll BMW turbo, and has additional sensors beyond factory configuration. Sloppy work here is dangerous. βΈ» 7. Contamination Risk A rag was picked off the floor and inserted directly into the oil fill opening while the cap and filter were removed. I have no way of knowing: β’ What contaminants were introduced β’ Whether debris, sand, or metal was present That alone disqualifies this shop from touching any vehicle. βΈ» 8. Damage to Internal Components Video evidence shows damage to the internal plastic components of my oil filler assembly caused by improper handling. βΈ» 9. Suspicious Behavior After Documentation Began Once it became clear I was: β’ Recording audio β’ Logging sensor data β’ Capturing video Jose was seen under the vehicle making frantic hand signals to other staff. Immediately afterward, the vehicle threw oil-level sensor / oil fill errors. After a full DME reset, it was certain sabotage to oil level sensor. I will not speculate publiclyβbut I will say this: I have successfully sued major tire and service chains before for negligence and sabotage. Note: after visit BMW placed on lift to show intentional damage to harness. Before and after will be added. βΈ» Final Assessment This was: β’ Dangerous β’ Disrespectful β’ Technically incompetent β’ Financially exploitative I supplied my own oil and materials, yet was charged over $70 for what amounted to a liability, not a service. I generally trust Jiffy Lube and have for over 10 years. To Other Customers Do not bring your vehicle here. Not your daily driver. Not your family car. Not something your children ride in. Let this location close before it costs someone their engineβor worse.
