Customer Service is A++ — they stand by their work. I live in SF and was in Berkeley passing by Jiffy on University and thought to have my oil changed. After returning to SF I discovered a small issue following the oil change. Tom from Jiffy drove over to SF right away and fixed the minor issue. That’s true customer service. I’ll be returning for another service for sure.

Horrible experience. Jiffy Lube has always been a quick, easy, and friendly experience for me. I typically love to go there over other mechanics however this location is horrendous and gives Jiffy Lube a horrible name. I will not be coming back.

I have been coming here for years but today had the very best experience. I got there at 0803 and Steven was alone to open. He had two cars right away and took care of us both quickly and professionally while also being very friendly. He helped me find and use a coupon and was honest about what extra services could wait and what couldn’t. The second employee who arrived soon after was also very friendly . Loved the day and was out very fast!

Experience was mid and I was able to use the coupon, but one star review is because they chipped my car hood paint with the oil hose! It was weird seeing an oil stain on the hood on the wrong side of where the oil tank is inside the engine bay, and when I wiped it off with a towel, it was definitely engine oil splashed there and I noticed the chip(can’t be a coincidence they are at the same spot), nowhere else on the hood just that one spot where the oil stain is. Didn’t find out until gotten back so nothing I can do now; it’s not a fancy car service but a 100$-oil change should not end up with oil on my car body(hood, door handle, etc.) it is unacceptable, will most certainly not go back again or recommend!

From the happy, friendly woman who unexpectedly vacuumed my car to the service technician who waved goodbye from the bay, everyone was great. I went there for a uber inspection right everything was good except for this one minor thing that I don't have this wiper blade cover he want me to buy a new one or he will not pass me , and I just barely have enough money for the test, which is $50 for the inspection so he did not pass me just because of this play that cover the other half so I got to go all the way back to my house all the way back to East Oakland just to find a place that I used to have and put it back on there and go back all the way there is that crazy or what what's wrong with people I don't see nothing wrong with my wiper it's just that somebody stole my cover up my workplace and now I got to go all the way back to East Oakland and get it is that crazy or what what's wrong with people!!!!

The very first drive after getting an oil change, my van check engine light went on and it it started driving rough. I pulled over and smoke was coming out of the engine and oil was everywhere. When I checked the oil dip stick, there was no oil left in the engine. I had to get the van towed to the dealership (22 miles away) and they diagnosed the problem due to improper oil filter install (seal was crimped). I had all the documents and called Jiffy lube and talked to the assistant manager and told him that I would like to stop by and talk to him about a refund. When I got there, they told me that there was no assistant manager, GM or anyone who could help me. They told me that I had talked to someone who didn't have authority to do a refund. I can't believe this is how they run their operation.

Lovely staff. It's funny to say this about an oil changing station, however it was an all around pleasant, positive and uplifting experience. I was made to feel welcome the moment I pulled into the lot. There was a very easy workflow amongst the crew members and even though it was a busy day, I was out of there in 20 minutes. Informative staff, reasonable price. I was stressed about my brake light, ABS & traction lights on but was also in need of an oil change & tire rotation. They were able to do everything in a little over an hour, they don’t work with the electronic components of the vehicles but I was actually able to reset the buttons on my hybrid myself & they disappeared after my brake pads were replaced here which is great! 10/10 recommend, car is normal again!

⚠️ Major Safety Hazard! Do Not Use This Shop. I hired them to replace the front brake rotors and pads. When the brakes felt spongy, I asked the mechanic to re-check. He was arrogant and lied, insisting the size was correct and blaming the issue on air in the brake lines. He bled the brakes and stated he also verified that the size of the rotors were correct (he lied). Two days later, another mechanic from the dealership confirmed Jiffy Lube had installed the wrong size rotor and pad. This is a life-threatening safety failure due to negligence of the Jiffy Lube mechanic! They disregarded my safety and tried to deceive me. For your safety, avoid this mechanic.

Worst mechanic I've ever had in my life. Please stay far away from anything but an oil change here. After Jiffy Lube installed new pads and rotors on my vehicle, I had an inspection done a few months later by another reputable mechanic. They said incorrect sizes on the front and suggested I go back to Jiffy Lube to have them replace it. The mechanic is a rude, arrogant, stubborn human who is uninformed. He refused to compare the specs of the parts that were originally installed by Jiffy Lube with OEM spec of the vehicle. He instead insisted it was that my brakes need bled. He "bled" the brakes and came out worse than when I brought it in. Taking my car to the dealership now after wasting my morning. Again, DO NOT LET THIS MECHANIC TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE. UPDATE: SUBARU CONFIRMED THAT THE INCORRECT SIZES WERE INSTALLED. The Jiffy Lube mechanic lied and said he checked that sizes were correct the last time we were in. This negligence could have caused irreparable damage to my vehicle and potentially is life threatening in the event of failure. I warn all that go in here. Please be cautious of who you go to for vehicle repairs and maintenance. Recommend getting critical work done only from a reputable mechanic or dealership.
