I had an excellent experience with Joe Hudson, from the phone call to set the appointment and the welcoming from Johanna walking through the door to working with Matt on the estimate and he also kept me up to date on repairs. Although car damage always sucks Jo and Matt made it as pleasurable as possible...plus turn around on my car was just 2 days 😁 I highly recommend!!!

Bad communication and quality control! Initial estimate was $1100 and 5-7 days. Final result 31 days and nearly $6000. The pick up date was extended 5 times and most were not communicated until I called them to verify that the car was ready on the date they had told me. After the third delay I received a text with a date and time for pickup (Friday at 4:00 pm). I called twice on that day and left messages that I would be there at 4:00. At 2:00 I received a call that the car was was not in fact ready and would not be ready until Monday. On Monday I received two calls guaranteeing me the car would be ready for pick up by 3:00. When I arrived at 3:45 I found that there was a blemish in the paint and a warning light on. How they could have driven the car from the shop to the parking lot without noticing a bright orange warning light is not good. They were not able to fix either while I waited. I was told that it would be ready the following day, Tuesday. I received a call on Tuesday afternoon that car would be ready by end of day. I picked it up Wednesday morning and both issues were repaired. The warning light issue is a concern because they blamed it on a faulty or damaged headlight which is strange because the headlights were working and there were no warning lights on when I dropped it off. The final result is that after 31 days, several delays and added repairs, and one wasted hour and a half trip to the shop and back I have my car back and it seems fine. One of my concerns was the rental car cost. I was renting a car and the cost was obviously adding up. After a heated argument on the Friday when I was told the car was not ready as promised they did at my request pay the final 4 days of the rental. I went to Don Hudson because my insurance company suggested I bring it there. If there is ever a next time I will do my own research and bring it somewhere else.

Some of the parts for my older car were hard to find, but Derek kept me up to date and handled the communication with both the insurance company and the rental car agency. I understand When Business have good quality and good reputation, but it doesn’t allow you to have a bad customer service, The advertising never said that it’s only by appointment or only with insurance Juan those were the questions from the manager when I pulled my car in my trailer to be fixed it. He just asked me to move because they are very busy and I don’t Fulfill their requirements. I’m very disappointed

We were so devastated when we had the wreck. We took our truck to Joe Hudson collision center in Lady Lake fl. The people there were so helpful. They told us not to worry and they kept us in the loop about everything. Laura in the office and Chris the manager were so sweet and kind. Our truck was finished as promised and the final outcome was amazing!!!! Our truck looks brand new and we are soooo pleased. The truck was cleaned inside as well.
