We’re new to the area and found Johnny D’s through a Google search. We brought in our SUV after noticing a strange noise in the front of the vehicle. They quickly diagnosed the issue as worn front wheel bearings. After replacing both bearings and had us back on the road. The customer service was excellent—friendly, honest, and professional from start to finish. We’re very happy with the experience and will definitely be using Johnny D’s again for any future repairs. Highly recommended!

After my A/C went out in 103 degrees outside I had to immediately it repaired. I called one business and they said make an appointment for 1 week out. Next I called Johnny D’s and he said bring it by in about an hour. Took my car there and it was fixed in about an hour at a fair price! Outstanding professionalism and honesty! I highly recommend them! No BS at this business because they actually care about you the person and your situation.

Summer of 2024 I Went here to get my trucks ac repaired. first was told it was my compressor and it would cost $1100. I doubted this as the air was working my refrigerant had leaked out but he said for sure the leak was at the compressor which I had never heard of in my life usually they fail or seize but hey he’s the pro trust him I thought. After paying, the next day ac wasn’t working turns out it wasn’t the compressor it was leaking from the condenser a common fault on Silverados I later learned. So first issue was they misdiagnosed my problem, probably intentionally to run up the bill or maybe they just aren’t great mechanics idk but they charged me when my compressor was fineThen 2 months later the compressor they put on my Silverado seized up. After going to the shop and basically arguing w/ the owner he finally agreed to change compressor that failed after less than 60 days. I left a poor review then but after he swapped it I deleted the review to be nice. Well here we are approaching the summer of 2025 and guess what The compressor failed. I suspect he never even changed the original failed one but who knows, to have paid for a new compressor and it fail 2 months later and then they change it and 11 months later it fails and Im having to replace it myself to me that’s poor service and work. I frequently do my own repairs and wanted to avoid this job as it failed mid summer last year and after paying $1100 to Johnny Ds auto my ac was still inoperable. NOT OKAY. In the long run if u can do the work do it yourself. This place gave me a poor diagnostic and faulty components. I wanted to avoid just throwing parts at it and went to what I thought was a professional but they’re diagnostic skills are either severely lacking or I was intentionally misled either way I urge you to stay away from this place. The receptionist (owners wife) is very nice and pleasant on the phones but the parts they sell u at top dollar are crap. Told me the compressor would be $500 and it didn’t last a year! After taking it out It’s a cheap $180 Taiwan compressor so he Ripped me off I didn’t even bother going back just repaired it myself, at least my ac problems are finally over. STAY AWAY!!!

One word for this company is “Family”. The true definition of that and I’m not talking about Vin Diesel. Johnny and the whole family business are that and did an excellent job. No BS; they’re upstanding folks, great work ethic, great communication skills, and fair price. If you’re having car problems there one phone call away. You won’t be disappointed. I was looking for a car shop around the area since I am new here. I drove from Chicago for 3.5 days and wanted my old car (ford escape 2011) to be checked. Came across their reviews online and they were all raving about this particular shop. So I called and told them I don't have a ride to go home and come back. I got an appointment the next day. Went there, talked to Ms Erin, she was so accommodating and friendly. They started on my car very promptly. After 15-20 minutes they came back and said nothing is wrong with my car and charged me NOTHING !! FREE!! NADA!! Omg.. i could not believe it! Just because they did not repair or top off liquids . But they checked everything!! No , they don't want to charge me.. Johnny D car shop is the BEST!! Now I am their biggest advertiser. Thanks so much Ms Erin and Mr Johnny and the sons and daughter.

A friend had recommended this family owned shop. Needed to have AC looked at. Upon inspection they said it was just cabin air filter that needed to be replaced. It was also making a noise when changing temperature. Got everything resolved quickly. Also recommended replacing brake pads which is nice to know your car is getting some kind of overall inspection. Friendly staff and would definitely come back and recommend!

HHave to say from start to booking an appt. They were courteous and knowledgeable. Had issues with the HOA; they got me in early so I wouldn't be fined. Vehicle was fixed faster than expected. They even offered to pick me up. Went over and beyond to make sure vehicle was up to date on services. It's hard to come by good mechanics in Henderson/Vegas. I'm happy to say I have a new mechanic and I'm able to walk to pick up my cars. Thank you to the Johnny D's team for exceptional communication and service.

Everything from the biggest problem to the most obscure car repair, there is nothing that is outside of the scope of these guys knowledge of cars and all at a reasonable price for their time and expertise by friendly helpful people.
