Heard great things about JT & M so went for a quote about our busted drivers' side mirror. Other place wouldn't let me get a simple replacement mirror without the bells and whistles. Was going to force me to spend the money on the expensive OEM and all the charge to calibrate it. I asked the JT & M if I got a simple replacement mirror would they put it on and he said sure thing. Even did it for less than his original quoted price (which was fair to begin with!) I definitely found where I will be taking my vehicles going forward.

I am glad I see all the reviews that actually show and describe how horrible these people treat customers. I have been using them to fix all the vehicles myself and spouse use (3) cars but, I started understanding that everytime I take my vehicle there it develops another fault as soon as you get it back. My air conditioning was fixed on 07-25-2023 at this place for $1050 dollars which was initially communicated to me via phone as $960. I used my vehicle on that same day just to go to work and then back & air was cooling then on 07-26-2023, I was driving to work and noticed the air just gassed out of my car and my cooling changed. I lowered my air all the way to 63 degrees to get cooling but I still don’t feel it and when I drive my car I feel there’s something affecting something from how it started driving since then and more outter air in my car when driving than air that comes from the air unit. I took my car back this morning and explained to the guy that was there “ A very RUDE” and arrogant guy with zero communication skill. He just took my vehicle and drove it into their garage and went on to check what was going on without communicating with me. When I called them back to understand why I fixed my air with so much money and yet not getting the worth for my money, this arrogant rude boy told me to wait for their boss. I waited and started calling after about an hour or so my line got cut off and my call stopped connecting. I explained to my spouse and we went there and got my car back. They said my air cool on 60 degrees and I m wondering why I have to turn my air to 60 degrees to get any cooling which I still think is not justified. I usually use it on 70 never gone below 67. My spouse love this place and it took us time to see that they are not the same when you make them your number 1 go to. They are very non-challant, dismissive and very unpleasant to deal with. I will never recommend this people to anyone again ever. I will never use them again, no one I know will use them again and with time all these reviews will catch up with them. No conscience! No customer service! No sincerity and above all just all about taking 900 to $1000 plus on every repair without actually repairing anything. I will continue to return my car until it gets fixed and if this will end up in a civil court we will do it because this is outrageous. Then they act like everyone they meet must speak all American accent, always pretending not to understand what I’m speaking or trying to re-fix. You understand my accent before you took my cash but, after you take my cash you start turning your nose up like forcing yourself to understand me. This place annoyed me and unfortunately I can’t do anything about it. But I will make sure I leave my review anywhere I see this company. They don’t deserve half a star!!!

Love this shop! I had such an amazing experience here. My car overheated because of a leak in the middle of a road trip, took it in at 4 pm and they had it fixed and we were on the road again before 5. All for a very reasonable price. Jt was very friendly to us, even drew us a map to our destination and recommended an awesome BBQ place to stop at on the way. I highly recommend this shop to anyone!

My family has been going there 30+ years. My son needed some work done on an older car and was told they would get to it in a couple weeks. When he called he was told they did not want to work on his car. I guess JT has become wealthy enough over the years to be picky about what jobs he does. I guess 30 years of loyalty means nothing if the job is tough. Never go back and will definitely not recommend them to anyone. To bad, I like using local businesses.

I have taken my vehicles here for several years. This last time we ran into a very perplexing electrical problem. JT tested EVERYTHING on my truck and never gave up until he felt we had conquered the issue. I really appreciated that he never gave up on my truck. He went way beyond what any other shop would have done!

Had they charged me the original amount they said it would be, I would rate them higher. Told him I already had an oil change. Charged me for it anyway on top of other charges I’m not sure about. Although he pretended to humor me and show me the simple math on the receipt, none of the amount I was actually charged was broken down just random numbers..

I have used JT&M a couple times now for both of my vehicles. Brakes on one and CV Axle and brakes on the other. JT is always very nice and forthcoming with all explanations. The time frame and pricing has blown away my expectations. I highly recommend using this mechanic for your repair needs.

I had to get a new gas tank and was going to go through insurance. The owner is very short and rude from the start. I was told he could install a used tank for $498, which was less than my deductible so I opted for that. All this took place on Monday and I was told I would have my truck by Thursday. Thursday rolls around and I have heard nothing. I'm right around the corner, so I went by around 4:40. They were already closed and hadn't even started on my truck yet. Called Friday morning and had another unpleasant conversation with the rude owner. They finished my truck, and since I couldn't be there before they closed, I paid over the phone and was told he would leave my keys in the visor. When I picked my truck up, I found that my keys were in the ignition, in the on position and my battery was nearly dead. Then I looked at the receipt and found my total was $565 dollars on the written invoice including tax, but my card was charged for $585. Not sure where the extra 20 came from... I was charged $12 for "shop supplies" $25 for a non-legible charge, $10 for gas. (He told me he put a couple gallons in it) when I filled up right across the road I found he only put in .8 gallons. So I was charged $10 for $3 of fuel, and $20 dollars in mystery money. And to top all this off, now my check engine light is on, which was not on when I dropped off my truck. How this shop is 35+ years in is shocking to me. I've been alive and traveled long enough to have had my truck in many different shops. This is without question the worst shop and worst experience I have ever had. Never in a million lifetimes would I recommend anyone go here. Dishonest, poor communication, disrespectful, you name it. Never again. I'm not even going to try to go back to them for the engine light. I'll pay extra if need be to go anywhere else.

Appropriately priced services. Not cheap but definitely not as expensive as chain shops. Services/repairs are reliable and only include as much as needs to be done to be long-lasting and high quality. They use parts from reliable manufacturers and parts stores. Special thank you to the owner for humoring my suspicions and questioning of parts and labor costs. As a woman, anyone can understand why I referenced and cross referenced everything after experiencing difficulties from all kinds of shops, private and chain run. I will continue to bring my other vehicles here for other services.

Very disappointed. I took my vehicle here after a coolant hose came loose from the back of my engine and it began to overheat, had it towed there. They found where the hose came loose fixed that and put antifreeze in it, checked on some electrical problems that I already knew I had, so charged a diagnostic fee as well, as well as some sealer it looks like they charged me for, and a pressure test was done prior to find the leak. I paid almost $600. The owner tells me if I have any problems they stand by their work when picking up my vehicle, I drive it 10 minutes home of course no problems. I drive the next morning my 45 minute drive to work, and my car dies and begins blowing white smoke out of the exhaust after driving for 35 min. I call and let JT know this and he says go ahead and bring it back in we'll pressure test it. I pay $275 to have it towed back there, and am told that the head gasket is probably cracked and coolant leaking into the cylinders. A pressure test should have been done more efficiently to begin with that would have told you that right there, but he tells me they only checked for where the hose came unattached and that they didn't run long enough and that they also didn't drive it long enough to detect any of that 🤷 and that he wouldn't have been able to detect leak within the internal components...yet now with a pressure test they could? So I paid 600 for what? And then another $275 to have it towed back there, because they guarantee their work, and not to mention minus a day of work because of it, so about $1000 I'm out because of all of that. We discussed this with JT, and he just kind of shook his head, grinned and shrugged his shoulders. We had it towed home, I decide to take a look myself and find that one of the engine spark plug coils are completely out of the engine and the car will not run, and there's no coolant, of course it won't run! I ran my own head gasket sealer through it and did for a long period of time as you are supposed to do and even changed my own spark plugs fixed the engine coil got it seated properly, filled it with coolant, and got my car to run. We've gotten good service with two other vehicles that we've had serviced there, but this time felt taken advantage of and brushed off.

Takes two weeks to inform me that what they stated would fix my car actually didn’t fix it and that I need to send it to dealership. Yet demanded I pay $600 immediately. Asked for a detailed invoice and was refused to be given one instead JT told me he will remove the part and only charge me service fee. Who know’s if they even put in the part to begin with.

I have being going here for years. I've had everything from normal maintenance to major repairs. I always feel that I've gotten the best service and their prices are more than fair. JT explains everything so well and, when he can, he provides options. I can't recommend a better shop than JT & M Automotive.
