Are you tired of shops that create repairs to be done, that don't actually need to be done? If you're tired of bringing your car to the shop and you're getting it back with other issues...if you're tired of the shop rushing your job, so they can start on someone else's car...if you bring your car to the dealer because "they know your car best," then you need to read this review. I have a Toyota and started having issues with the engine light coming on and hard shifting. I knew there was a recall so this should have been a quick fix. I went to the following shops and received the following suggestions: 1- Lakeland Toyota in Florida = You need a new transmission. They never dropped the pan, just looked at the code which said the solenoid was bad. There was a technical services bulletin from Toyota on this but they ignored it. You can replace the solenoid but they just wanted to replace the transmission (of course they did). 2- Mom and Pops transmission shop in Houston = It could be the computer (ECU), or the transmission. You have to pick which one to try first, so if it's wrong, thats on you and not us. 3- A plus Transmission on Sheppard in Houston. Lets just say they charged me for a rebuild and didn't rebuild it and didn't fix the issue. My car got hit twice, on two different occasions while in their care and I was told it wasn't their responsibility to fix, pound sand. They also kept my car for a YEAR! I had to take them to court and won! It came back with several thousands more in repairs for rotted gaskets and rubber, from sitting in the Houston heat. 4- Sterling Toyota = After a $189 diagnostic fee, they said they weren't sure what it was and if they fixed the wrong thing, that would be at my expense. There is more to my experience with the above shops but lets just say they lack the experience, the pride in craftsmanship, and most of all INTEGRITY! I found a discussion talking about the top shops in Houston and Kennedy's received rave reviews, especially for Toyota's and Japanese cars (though they can fix anything). Mike, the Operations Manager showed me around the shop, as he could see my experiences with the other shops had me on the cautious side. The bay area was SPOTLESS, I MEAN SPOTLESS! I worked in a repair shop in HS and have been around countless other shops and I have never seen a shop so clean, I still can't believe it! The mechanics work area was orderly and spotless with the tools laid out accordingly. They worked in a very meticulous manner and you can see they respected peoples vehicles by covering the fenders when working to prevent damage to the paint. Thanks for that walk through Mike! In the end, Mike assured me anything they worked on that wasn't correct, would be on them and NOT me. He was super confident in his technicians and assured me with 100% confidence, they would get me back on the road! I dropped my car off and within a week (because we waited for the part), my car was running like a champ. The owner and some of the tech's are Toyota Master Techs. The owner has had this shop for 7 years. If you care about your car, don't want to get ripped off, please support this small family shop. Why are you wasting your time with these other shops/stealerships, support this small family shop or one day they might be gone and so will the integrity they bring to the profession and their customers! I also appreciated their text message updates and communications regarding their service on your vehicle. Thank you to the owner, Mike, and the Techs, of Kennedy's Auto Solutions, for getting right what two dealers and two transmission shops couldn't! You guys have secured a new loyal customer! Could not have asked for a better first experience with getting my car fixed - 10/10! I had my car towed here after a flat tire and wheel damage right before I left for vacation. I typically dread anything car-related, but I felt safe and comfortable as soon as I walked in - and the repair process was seamless from start to finish. They kept me updated the whole time via text, email, and phone call and went out of their way to find different repair options and explain each of them to me so I could make an informed decision. They even arranged a state inspection while my car was there! Payment and drop off/pick up was super fast and easy too, and they got me a complimentary Uber to get back home. I will definitely be back and would recommend anyone to take their vehicle here.

1 year update. My tires have never worn this perfectly or handled this nice. It's had 3 previous alignments and 3 previous sets of tires since I bought this car. Alot of shops just don't have enough knowledge to aligning these Audi's, and it shows.

Another great experience with Kennedy Auto Solutions. We went in for an alignment and Micheal their Ford expert noticed something wrong when doing test drive. He found that the torque converter was going out and transmission had metal present. After the findings, Mike and Kurt handled the hard work dealing with my warranty company and we were able to get new transmission ordered and installed in a timely manner. Truck drives smooth and we were so happy Micheal found the issue before things got any worse. Thanks again Kurt, Mike and Micheal.

Mike is extremely amiable. He and everyone else at Kennedy Auto Solutions knows everything about Toyota's and their maintenance. I told him I was running into issues with clunking when hitting bumps and clicking when turning and when I gave them the truck, they quickly identified the issue. Once they called me to tell me the problem, they even explained that the issue is nothing to worry about and that the issue is very common. They gave me reassurance that the vehicle is 10000000% safe to drive and that my issue is completely eliminated! They use parts, fluids, components that are all compliant with OEM standards so you know you're getting quality service performed that will LAST! Another thing that is great about them, is that if I inquired about jobs that they do not perform, they provide local suggestions that can perform the job and that are highly rated! Toyota had CV Axles on backorder for an unknown time frame. I heard nothing but good things about Kennedy Auto Solutions on the Houston Tundras Facebook group so I decided to give them a try. I came to them with a tight deadline so our family could go on our planned road trip since Toyota couldnt do anything for me. They exceeded my expectations! Mike and Kurt are super friendly and outgoing and pay great attention to detail. They replaced my cv axles with HD long travel ones and I had zero issues on my 5,600 mile road trip. I highly recommend taking your vehicles here for all of your needs. Their customer service is outstanding.

I gotta say I’m severely disappointed in this place. I choose this over my regular mechanic because I wanted something more professional to do my 100k mile maintenance. Big mistake. They gave me zero advice on what to do or not to do. Then turns out the transmission flush ruined my transmission. Wrecked the value of the truck and now I have to choose either an expensive transmission rebuild or buy a new truck which is the whole reason I was doing the major maintenance schedule in the first place. My disappointment is I received no advice on the risk of flushing the transmission or advice to just skip that if I wasn’t having any issues. And then you guys took no responsibility and didn’t work with me at all. You didn’t even suggest getting a cheaper transmission just suggested the most expensive possible option. I will not be coming back and I urge the rest of you to look for a shop that will be a partner with you on your car rather than just take your money with a sweet smile.
