Steven K. at Kia Stamford gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My husband and I are newer to CT and went into the dealership just to test drive a few vehicles to upgrade from our Jeep Wrangler. Unlike other car salespeople we have encountered, Steven was super transparent with us about pricing, deals, and what car would be the best fit for what we were looking for. Throughout the process, Steven did not put any pressure on us to buy a car right away and make impulse decisions. Instead, he was patient and worked with us each step of the way. We ended up leasing a Telluride and are so happy with our decision. I truly recommend using Steven, as he is a pleasure to work with. On top of knowing all of his facts, he was so kind and personable - how every salesperson (and client facing person) should be! Above & beyond is how I would describe our experience at Kia😊

When driving from NH to FL On January 2, 2025, my 2024 Telluride started to run very rough and the engine light came on. Fortunately, I was about a mile form an exit off Rte 95 in Stamford, CT and discovered Kia of Stamford a couple of blocks off the exit ramp. As I walked up to the service entrance, someone named Max asked what I needed and then tracked down the service manager. Despite the fact that It was about 5:00 p.m.and the shop was closed, the service manger located a service technician to run the diagnostics. The diagnostics indicated misfiring of cylinders 3 & 5. and he explained why and reset the engine warning light. The service bay lights went out and both the technician and the service manager walked away before I could properly thank them for the exceptional service. ;;;;;;;

Would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to go and deal with Terry and T.J. best customer service I ever received.But most of all treat you like family not a customer they made me feel at home and looked out for my best interests in decision making. Would go there and deal with them again and bring others as well.

If you need a new vehicle, whether you are thinking of leasing or financing, please do yourself a favor and come to Kia of Stamford. My original Kia was leased at another dealership in NY and that experience was subpar when compared to the wonderful and painless experience at Kia of Stamford. I serviced my previous Kia at their service department numerous times so it made sense to continue the relationship. Rob Garcia, service advisor, recommended that I meet with TJ to talk about my options. I could not be happier with the recommendation. TJ is the best salesperson we have EVER encountered. He asks the right questions and always puts your best interests before anything. He provides you with the best advice and always makes sure that his clients are well-served. Terry, business manager, explained every thing that was involved in each contract we are signing and I could not feel more relieved. Car dealerships have always been something that my partner and I avoided but now we are looking forward to our next lease. We are in love with our 2025 Kia Sorento. Thank you to everyone at Kia of Stamford!

This review is late but I had to do it. My daughter-in-law Kelsi needed a new car, my son was traveling so I offered to go with her. She already identified the Kia Telluride as an option. We drove to Stamford KIA, walked in and the first person we meet was Steven Kolkinidis. We told him what we were looking for and he immediately went to work showing and explaining the features and differences between the option packages etc. He was extremely knowledgeable, no pressure and made us feel very comfortable and confident, we knew we were in good hands! We did purchase the Telluride that day and the overall experience was amazing! Steven is a great Stamford Kia asset, I highly recommend him!!

I just had a terrible experience with this dealership. I sold my car back to them over the summer (July 20) and didn’t get the check until literally yesterday, December 18. I had a great experience with them when I initially leased the car in late 2017 and then bought it 3 years later. So I was honestly so surprised by the completely ineffective communication they had not only with me, but amongst themselves from the beginning of this process over the summer. Just being able to talk to the manager in charge over the phone was a total nightmare and apparently he had no direct phone number, so after a while everything was conducted via email which led to even further delays. The first time I went in person, they incorrectly told me they had me in their system as having bought a different model (a Kia Forte) instead of selling a Kia Rio. What the hell?? As one can imagine, this only made me even more concerned about their customer service and made me realize how completely disorganized they were. They had all the documentation for the car for literally months and used all kinds of lame excuses for the delay in the process, from changes in management/being understaffed to issues with the accounting department (which they were always very vague about) and even a manager being out sick with the flu for a few days. They made all sorts of promises they couldn’t keep and lied so many times For example, they said they would “get back to me by the end of the day” when I asked them a question on the phone or via email but then days and even weeks would go by and I would hear nothing. I had to end up constantly calling and emailing every day and even went in person multiple times. You’d think they would have accelerated the process after a certain point just to get me off their back but it seems like it took a long, angry email I sent the sales manager last week threatening legal action against them if they didn’t send me the money before the end of the year. To recap: if you own a Kia and plan to sell it anytime soon, I STRONGLY advise against selling it back to this dealership for all of the reasons listed above. I explored several other options for selling my car (Carvana, Facebook Marketplace, through people I knew, etc.) and ultimately decided this was the best option but clearly I was wrong.
