My truck battery died on Sunday. It was a new battery and besides being stranded with a travel trailer at the Buckley On-Base RV Park , I was also concerned it might be an alternator problem. First thing Monday morning, I called Ryan at Kwik Kar from the Buckley On-Base RV Park where I was staying. He was able to send out a couple of guys at 9AM to jump start my truck; great guys, and very courteous. I then followed them back to the shop. Before he ran some diagnostics, he had already ordered a new battery just in case. While the battery was recharging, I went and had a coffee. When I returned, he ran a battery diagnostics and told me the alternator was good and so was my battery. But he said he would keep the new battery available while I was here over the next week, should I need it. He told me charging devices in the truck or a door not completely shut could have caused the problem. I was told I could drop by later in the week to recheck the battery condition. I asked what was the total cost. He said, "No charge." It was all I could do to keep from letting my jaw drop open. If I lived here, he and his team would have my business! Kwik Kar and the Navy Exchange can be exceptionally proud of Ryan and his crew members. A great way to treat us retired military folks!!!

I have been in several times and have always felt like they really cared about getting the work done right. They also seem to know a great deal about fixing stuff. I drive old cars (like 20 yrs and over 200K miles old) so it is important to me that the folks in the shop care about my cars as much as I do. Some of the other reviewers have complained about the shop not running on that customers' schedule. Yes, I have had to wait longer than stated before, but that is because things don't always work out as expected. An estimate is just that, an estimate. No two repairs ever go quite the same. If you want it done fast by a mechanic that only wants to put his wrench in your wallet, then go anywhere. If you want it done right and at a great price, take it to Kwik Kar.

Came in for an oil change and a tire rotation, was told after the fact that they couldn't rotate the tires due to "severe dry rot" and then was shown a random picture from a phone gallery that weren't my tires with actual dry rot and told "This is what your tires look like" So instead I received a quote for 4x $190 tires, 80 labor fee for an hour of work, and another 62 dollars for other fees in relation to the tire. Also quoted me for a shock absorber replacement with $139 labor cost for an hour And then quoted me for $139 for an hour of transmission fluid exchange. I don't know who needs to tell you this, but you're not worth $139/hr WITH other fees tacked onto the side if you're snide with your customers and don't explain anything about the issues with the vehicle with actual pictures

Had an appointment for both my car and Hubby truck for new tires. But on my Husband's truck they couldn't remove two tires on his dually as for my appointment they didn't do it because it took to long on my Husband's truck so they skipped my appointment and took the next Customer's vehicle and didn't do my car, I was very disappointed. Have to return next week for them to work on my car not sure I wanna return.

The mechanics at this establishment are experienced and honest. I needed assistance with an oil change and a fluid replenish. Henry answered the phone, gave me an appointment and was extremely, efficient. He did a courtesy check on my tires when I initially just needed an oil change. The service was so great, I had to purchase windshield blades as mine needed to be replaced. Thank you kwik Kar complete auto care, I sincerely appreciate the kindness and patience for my lack of experience.

Wow!!!! Unbelievable service. Stopped in to ask a question about getting my taillights looked at. I figured I would need to schedule an appointment. My first interaction with this business was with SAM. Sam is an incredible all around great human! He stopped what he was doing to spend a few minutes to listen. In the middle of what he was doing, here I was selfishly “asking him to focus on my problem”…..he listened to my problem and immediately responded “I’ve got you!” He had me back in my truck. Spent 2 minutes and was able to quickly identify the problem with my truck. Spent the next several minutes working the problem at the same engaging with me as the customer as why my taillights no longer worked. I’ve never been to a place that made me feel appreciated/heard when it came to my vehicle. Without a doubt for as long as I am stationed here SAM and his team will be the ones I go to for service. Went today to get help with an emergency with my arm of my windshield wiper. It was loose sp I walked in and asked Henry at the front desk for some help. What a cool dude he is. He let me borrow one of their sockets and be able to tighten it up and I was good to go in less than 5 minutes. Thank you so much Henry. Please give that brother a raise. Excellent attitude and willingness to help customers all around. Super thankful!

Sam really helped my husband get our car in the shop in time for a big trip. Sam & Henry both did a wonderful job on our car- we got a full vehicle inspection, tire rotation, & oil change. When I picked it up I noticed they filled my tank & left a nice paper protective mat on the driver’s side. I really appreciate the care they put into our vehicle & the service they provided. The price, wow! Can’t be beat! Highly recommend these guys, we’ll be back 😈

One of your mechanics saved me the other day when I got a flat tire on my motorcycle! He went out of his way to help me, on his way home from work. The gentleman noticed I had a flat tire on the side walk and helped me push my bike to the nearest parking lot. Then he patched my tire and filled it up with air, so I could make it to my appointment and get home. One of the nicest mechanics, helpful and knowledgeable!

Crazy - went to get an allignment and found out the truck needs 1700.00 of parts . Yeap inflated parts and staff is not trained to do the work. Highly not recommended.

Kwik Kar Complete Auto Care Buckley SFB Store # 1566 I left my vehicle Tuesday evening 29 April 2025 for a appointment on 30 Apri 2025. For a tune-up and oil change. It just started to start and stall when cold. So they called me about that and stated they need to check the throttle body which was fine. On 1 May I had to call again about the status of my vehicle and nothing was done! I asked just for the oil change and that was not even completed in the day and half I left my vehicle. This is totally unacceptable as a contracting company on a military base! If I could leave no stars or negative stars I sure would. I want their corporate office address and phone number.

They fixed the sound from my brakes which I appreciate. Gave 4 star because during their initial evaluation they said that the clamps I had on were supposed to be flush but after their install I noticed the clamps are also not flush.. picture attached. Im grateful that the brakes are no longer making those sounds but I don't think I needed an entirely new brake job to fix it.... but then again if I knew what was best I probably wouldn't have gone to a mechanic =)

I’ve never encountered a business as dishonest as this one. The owner, Ryan, routinely tries to upsell unnecessary services and misleads customers about the actual cost of parts. This shop clearly preys on those who don’t have extensive knowledge about cars. If you’re elderly, don’t even consider bringing your vehicle here—they’ll claim to offer the cheapest prices in town, only to charge you premium rates and use low-quality oil. They take advantage of trust and operate with zero integrity. It’s incredibly disappointing to see this kind of behavior, especially on a military base, where honesty and respect should be the standard. I strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere. They should be ashamed of themselves.
