These are the best mechanics I’ve ever been to. I drive a pretty old VW that I’ve taken to a lot of different shops, and they have all done a bare minimum of shoddy work, and then the check engine light comes back on during the drive home. At L&M, they seem to actually take pride in their work, and I felt like they cared about getting my car back in good working order. Mark was great to work with, and he walked me through everything that needed to be done. My car is now running better than it has in years, and I will definitely come back the next time I need work done.

I rarely review businesses. This shop deserves 5 star review and id recommend anyone looking for knowledgeable porsche mechanics. I’ve had two Porsche 911s that I brought in for inspections/tune ups/maintenence. Bill and Peter both had incredible attention to detail identifying preventative maintenence options - clearly did very thorough job inspecting the cars. I found the low pressure advice to be very helpful. They went out of their way to save me money and prioritize the modifications / upgrades worth making. incredible to work with these guys I’m going to bring all of my Porsches and BMWs here going forward (even though it’s 30 minutes out of my way)! They’re experts and they’re honest. Bill has been in business for this long time for a reason.

I had several issues with my car after purchasing it (used Landrover) and L&M helped me to fix the issues one by one. - They seem very experienced with Land Rovers which has their own share of specific quirks. L & M is family operated and they know what they are doing, give you honest opinions on the different options for your vehicle and work hard to fix it. They are also nice people and work patiently with you to explain the issues and resolve them. The location is easy to find and you can pull up right on their parking lot. Can definitely recommend them.

Where do I start? I wanted to buy a 2010 Audi A4 from a copart auction in NJ. The listing said it started with a jump and the exterior was great so I called and spoke to Bill and asked if I could have the car delivered to his shop. He then immediately told me NOT to buy the car. Said they usually give engine trouble after 100k miles. The car had 123k. So I went against his advice and purchased it anyway. Long story short the car needed a new engine! the pistons were all broken and the cylinders were cracked. Due to a chain tensioner timing jump. the repair bill was Quoted for about 7k but since I got it for a good price it wasn't all that bad. What I really appreciated was that I didn't have all the funds for the repair upfront but they worked with me. Sent me video updates on the repair progress. everything took about a month or so to complete. They basically rebuilt an engine from scratch. The car runs like new. These people are truly amazing and their work proceeds them.

Absolutely the best mechanic team you can wish to have work on your car. "THE BEST". Father/son duo are totally honest great people. Excellent pricing. Brought my S6 in, they communicated with me thru text and pictures. They serviced my car BETTER then audi. I'm talking the "BEST" foreign auto specialist in this town, Guaranteed. Very much appreciate their work. They understand how much I love my car. Gave me advice how to take care of it better also. They have been in business forever. No need to go anywhere else. All around 5 Stars. Great team here!!!

I’ve been going to L&M for 3 years and from my first BMW to my last this will be the only shop I visit. There hasn’t been an issue that they haven’t been able to fix. I’ve also never had to go back for a previous issue with any of my cars. This shop has knowledgable and honest mechanics that do quality/excellent work. I highly recommend.

These guys are always straight forward about what is going on with my beloved Mini and the relative urgency of various repairs. As someone who knows little about cars and doesn’t always have a lot of cash to spend on maintenance, I have continued going to L & M even after moving away from the neighborhood because I know and trust them. They are not the cheapest, but every time I take my car to a cheaper shop they don’t know Mini’s and do a cheap job. L & M does quality work and tries to work within my budget as much as possible. I highly recommend them if you have a European car.

I have been bringing my car to L&M Foreign Cars for the past two years for service and repairs. Mark,Bill and all the service technicians are great and very knowledgeable of foreign cars. The work is always neat , clean and the prices are way less than taking your car to a dealership. I've been living in the community for 25 years and as long as I can remember they've been around. That says a lot about a business and it's reputation to keep people coming back. I truly recommend you take your foreign car to these gentlemen before you go to the dealer. You'll thank me later 😎👍

I came across L & M some years back when I had a 2007 Mini Cooper, they repaired my Mini Cooper better then when I first bought it used! Since then I was sold! I don't let anyone touch my car except L & M, unless it's an emergency and I have no other choice! Since then I purchased a VW Jetta and traded it in for a Mini Cooper 2Seater! I have received nothing other than great service for any car that I've ever bought to L & M for service!

When I decided to stop using the Audi dealership after a few less-than-stellar experiences, I found L & M and I never looked back. Billy and Mark have always been great to deal with and they call it how it is. If your car needs something they tell you and if not they tell you. I always felt I was getting a fair shake with them. For over a decade, first with my Audi TT and later with my Audi A6 wagon, I've had everything from regular service visits to larger repairs done by them. I'm glad I found this shop, having a mechanic that knows your vehicle, does exceptional work and manages to establish trust is hard to find in this city. If you have a foreign car I wouldn't hesitate to recommend L& M.

The best auto repair shop in BK!! I’ll never go anywhere else, everyone is honest about pricing and are throughly explain the pricing and what repairs are necessary and unnecessary. The hood of my car wouldn’t open after a fender bender, and I took the issue to a different mechanic who told me I needed an entirely new hood. I waited and took my car here and they opened my hood and added some lubricant for free, which was all the car needed! They have super friendly and respectful staff and sweetest dog!

Since purchasing my Land Rover, I have been fortunate enough to find L&M Foreign Cars—some would say a godsend. The owners are very hands-on, and the technicians are quite knowledgeable. They take the time to explain things to you, keep you updated, and do all they can to ensure your car leaves running perfectly. Throughout the years, they have worked on everything from small maintenance jobs to bigger projects, and I always have a feeling that they are using the best parts and do things the right way. You can say they absolutely care about their work and their customers. I acquired my Land Rover in 2021, and from then on, Mr. Bill, Mark, and the whole team have been the only ones allowed to touch my car, and it will never change. I just had another great experience at L & M. My wife got a quote from the dealership for a small repair on our MINI Cooper. The quote seemed high, so I called Mark at L & M. Without knowing what the dealer's estimate was, he gave me a price for the work that was *less than one-quarter* of what the dealership quoted. I drove in this morning, the work was done immediately, the price was as quoted, and the experience was 100% positive. This was entirely consistent with my past experiences with Mark and the team at L & M. They are fair, ethical, VERY reasonably priced, and the work is always top notch. Thanks again!!!

I brought my MBE350 in after the check engine light went on. Mark and his dad took my car in and explained about their diagnostic fee. It was a small price to pay to find out what codes needed to be addressed in my car. The car returned a clean diagnostic report and neither Mark nor his Dad tried to upsell me. They were honest and ethical. I will certainly bring my car if I need future repair because I trust these guys. Now I see why they have such a high Google review!
