This shop is terrible owner is so unprofessional Not only did he lie about a part being defective He parked my car at a bus stop across the street From his shop and left it there overnight, I don’t advise anyone to go there u will be so disappointed in this shop.

terrible. dropped my car there to fix my a.c for 3 days he couldn't find the issue and still charged me 200$ . you can tell if a mechanic is bad when you look around his shop and you see mess everywhere. zero stars..if you need a good and reliable mechanic go to boston autotech down on the road.

I am the owner of LP Auto Repair in response to Mr. Kanteti Soikanth we would like to explain that the customer is not telling the whole story. Customer towed the car in and the vehicle is not running, customer have a 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid, he requested us to check on why the vehicle is not running, we told the customer that we would only charge him $95.00 to diagnose the problem at the end we found out the hybrid system not working, that’s why the vehicle not working. Before car came to the shop Customer also stated that AAA came by to check it and still had the same problem. At the end we recommend the hybrid system to be replaced customer declined the request and towed the car out. After we see the review we tried to contact the customer, to figure out why he is not saying the truth but in response customer hung up the phone. Secondly Mr.Eoin Gormley I just went through my system and check I don’t see your name in my system and I do not recall doing any service to you so I believe you mixed me up with another mechanic shop

professional and honest mechanic. I'm new to being a car owner so I've been thru some mechanics- don't always like working with them. But he told me what other people did wrong on my car and how the cut corners, and offered to fix it up for me at a decent price. He fixed my exhaust problem at a very affordable price and showed me the issues for myself. 10/10!!!

In Response to Mr. Stan Lee review. As a response to your review originally your 2007 Honda Fit was towed in with a broken left front axle shaft, you request us to order the part and install it for you. You made the payment for us to order the part for you. After we have finished what you have asked us to done, you told us that you would like us to install the cat.converter because due to the one in the car is no good (self diagnose). So you told us that you would get us the part, which you did. We installed the part and still the car still has the check engine light on for the Cat. Converter. We have you a call told you that the Cat. Converter didn’t fix the problem and the part is defective you told us you were going to get another one. We parked your car outside BEHIND the bus stop that night after we have told you about how the new cat. Converter was defective. You came with a second key and took the car. So Mr.Stan I am not mistaken you still haven’t paid me my labor to install your left front axle shaft, and the Cat. Converter ( which you told me to install).

The owner is a really nice guy and very honest. He will not just tell you what your car needs but he will actually show you why your car need to change that part. He is a very fair person and not over priced. He will get the job done in the promised period. I definitely recommend this shop if you need a mechanic job. I went to his shop to change the clutch on my 2004 Honda Civic and the car is running perfectly.

This gentlemen Lee is outstanding. He will show you all the ins and outs about what’s wrong with your car and also fix it like it’s new. The quality of work that is done, is amazing and very affordable. I was sent away by most shops for a certain job and he took me in with open arms and fixed my car for an unbeatable price. I can honestly say, someone coming from a hospitality background for over 14 years, Lee is one of the kindest, most hospitable, and most helpful repairs guys I have come across. Not only him, but his son and his daughter in law as well, stepping in to help when needed. I believe this is my fourth time seeing him and he is honestly just a kind genuine guy who gets the job done. I have been to other mechanics and places that do inspection and repairs, and am always intimidated because I know nothing about cars, and some other people just give off this intimidating serious energy whereas Lee is personable, kind and assuring. So Lee and L P auto repair definitely deserve a 5 star in my book!

I discovered LP Aito Repair after I had some shoddy (and expensive) repairs done at a competitor down the street. A friend recommended LP to me, and I am happy he did. Lee the owner knows a lot about cars and takes pride in his work. His pricing is very fair- certainly less than a dealership as well as some of the bigger, flashier establishments that line Dorchester Ave. It's easy to miss his shop but well worth the effort. He is very thorough in his work, explains why and what he is doing, and will recommend which repairs to prioritize. This is a small business that is an asset to the community. If you are looking for a mechanic that you can trust, Lee is the guy.

Mr Lee is a friendly and knowledgeable guy, and takes time to explain options. However, I was a bit surprised at the $165 diagnosis fee that wasn’t mentioned up front (sign in the office says a minimum $55 diagnosis fee will be charged), and which I think is a bit high for just confirming that the issue I had was with the bushings, exactly as I suspected. So just check before dropping your car off what the diagnosis fee will be, that was my mistake.

I discovered LP auto a little over a year ago after my muffler decided to fall off while driving down the highway haha. Lee was so professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. The cost was also very reasonable. I recently went back for new brakes, pressure sensor issues and an oil change, and received the same service as a year prior. A part was delayed due to the torrential rain and flooding last week, but Lee was very communicative and kept me informed on when my car would be ready. He also did a look over on my car and performed some routine maintenance that I didn’t notice. It’s so nice to have found a mechanic who is good at their job and honest, and really wants to keep you safe on the road. Thank you Lee, I’ll be back!
