I have a 2001 Honda S2000 and my car was not starting properly. Eric and his team were able to get my car in and found the issue quite easily. A grommet on the clutch had worn out and fallen off. While the car was in the shop, there were a couple of other items that I needed, like an oil change. The shop also did a safety check and review on a few additional items. I received a detailed repertoire on completed repairs and recommendations. I had a good discussion with Eric regarding the recommendations. We agreed on a couple more items that were completed very quickly. The car is running great. I appreciate having such a good shop right here in Laguna Beach.

UPDATE to my previous review. Took my car down the street to AUTO REPAIR LAGUNA BEACH and he was able to diagnose exactly what was going on with my car, very clearly informed me of every single detail, thoroughly checked everything including my brakes. Got my car back within the day. Didn’t even have to aimlessly drive it around like Eric did. Thanks for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am honestly shocked at the meek and helpless attitude that was exemplified to me by Eric. I brought my car in after getting it towed because it began smelling like burnt rubber on the freeway, the steering started glitching while braking, and the car began slowing down. Eric kept my car for five days and did truly nothing meaningful in that time. The only response I got from him was “I don’t know” He didn’t check the brakes. He didn’t investigate the smell. He didn’t change the oil even though he noted it needed an oil change. Instead, he said his guys took my car on a short joyride down PCH, and said everything looked completely fine while questioning whether I was lying about my concerns. He said he didn’t want to drive it any further because he didn’t wanna pay for a tow… me neither, dude. No further investigation, no nothing. The dismissiveness, lack of initiative, and complete absence of responsibility were honestly alarming. I left with zero answers, the same exact issues I came in with, and five days of my time wasted. I’m taking my car to another shop because this one clearly isn’t capable of handling anything beyond the most basic tasks. If your safety matters to you, look elsewhere.
