Going on 7 weeks without my car. Very hard to get updates from clerks on vehicles Iv had to contact the location almost every time to get an update. When called to complain about the process, the GM, gave me a bunch of “me” problems that had nothing to do with my car or me. I was told will take a full day for my car to be buffed and washed. Which is unacceptable. Professionalism very poor along with communication!!

I was rear ended in my new Mazda CX-5 that I had owned for less than a year. I managed to hobble it to LaMettry's and they were so kind and helped me so quickly. I was shaken up and upset by the situation but they were so patient with me and we quickly came up with a plan. They even facilitated helping me in getting a rental. I was in and out of there so quickly. 2 weeks later, I have my car back in off the lot brand new condition. I've used this company before, I will continue to use them in the future, and I'll recommend them to anyone that needs bodywork done on their vehicle.

LaMettry was terrific to work with. I had a car accident that destroyed the front end. They had my car for five weeks, and while it was a long time, you don't know what will happen when you work with an insurance company and the people who supply parts. Matt kept me posted throughout the process. When I first met him, he promised to stay in touch with updates via phone or text. He was true to his word, and Matt explained why there were delays step by step. When it was finally time to pick up the car, the windshield wipers didn't work, and Matt requested a Lyft to drive me home. He purchased new wipers and sent a Lyft to drive me back after the weekend to pick up my car. The amount of work my vehicle needed was A LOT. However, the result was worth the wait. The car is running well and looks great. LaMettry's get 5 stars from me! Matt gets 5 stars from me! Thank you.

very negative experience. long story short, my truck was taken there due to hail damage. it was totaled out but with a new hood it would have looked fine. lemattrys staff broke a door trim piece, acknowledged breaking it and refused to replace or properly repair the piece. they were goi g to send it back to me broken and hanging until i complained and they glued it back on. my insurance got involved encouraging lemattries to return truck in no worse condition than they received it and two different managers at two shops said they would do nothing. would not recommend this business.

Excellent customer service from Suzanne and the LaMettry’s Collins repair team. I have experience with multiple body shops an the area and LaMettry’s is the one that stands behind their work because it is high quality. This is the second experience that has been white glove, where Suzanne and LaMettry’s have gone above and beyond to deliver a car that has no signs of damage and looks as pristine as the day I bought it. Suzanne even went above and beyond and replaced the battery in my key fob when it died.

When I write reviews, I do it with complete honesty about what actually happened. I’m a bit of a nerd who carries a notebook wherever I go to keep track of great service. My wife’s 2016 Chevy was involved in a hit and run, and we brought it to LaMettry’s Collision in Inver Grove Heights. When I first arrived, no one was at the front desk, and I waited about 10 minutes. Then Andy, a very polite and professional gentleman, came out and said he would be right with me. At first, I was hesitant, but once I saw how helpful everyone was, I realized the wait was worth it. Andy gave a clear and fair estimate, the front desk team was friendly, and Suzanne kept me updated from start to finish. They not only fixed my wife’s car perfectly but also detailed it inside and out and even arranged a Lyft for us to pick it up. They do amazing work. I have brought multiple vehicles to them. I had rear end work done from a collision about nine years ago, and a small leak had formed, and they backed up their lifetime warranty and fixed the seal for free. They were super friendly and helpful in the whole process also. If you want somebody who stands behind their work, I would choose them every time.

They provide an estimate for the damages very quickly and in fact they were far better communicators than my insurance company. The car was ultimately deemed a total loss so I didn’t need repair thru LaMettry’s.

From beginning to end, this was an amazingly positive experience! This was our first time working with LaMettry's as it was based on a recommendation from the dealership we service our vehicle at. We had some paintless dent removal work to be processed. The service manager Suzanne was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional through the entire process. She reviewed our situation, offered options and set realistic expectations. She followed up with a quote in a reasonable amount of time. Dropping off our vehicle included a request for a ride home, and while a ride share option was not available, one of the other friendly employees (Jim) offered to drive me home. I did not expect this service, but it was much appreciated. I also met with the paintless dent removal (PDR) tech who was also friendly and professional. It made me feel that our vehicle was in good hands. I was advised and updated on the progress of our vehicle service on the day it was in. While there were expectations that one of the dents could have been adequately addressed, the PDR tech, in an abundance of caution, did as much work repairing it as best he could, trying to avoid any potential adverse issues arising. While this particular dent could not 100% be worked out, it was much improved. Our other dents and paint repairs were completed however. I really appreciated the honestly and care the entire team exhibited. With service expectations low in many experiences we have with businesses, this was a major positive experience! I want to thank the entire team that had a role with my experience, my wife was thrilled to see her car again in an improved state, and when/if we ever need car repair services like this again, we'll definitely use LaMettry's! Thanks!
