Total RIP OFF!! There nothing but con men/criminals!!! They said they'd have my alternator rebuilt for $225 but immediately after leaving I called to see when it'd be ready and told them that I was gonna buy a new one imstead and they could just install it. They said it would cost $475!!!!! Whats up with that??They said they needed to make some money... What? They werent having to rebuild it becsuse I bought a NEW one!!! After an hour of trying to make me look like an idiot I told them that I was coming to get my vehicle. When I got there they HANDED ME A BILL for $45 + 4.50 (9%)sales tax!!!!! I asked what for and they said they tested the alternator to see if it was bad!!!! Duh!!! I know its bad because I already had it tested FOR FREE AT AUTOZONE!!! Testing an alternator or battery is FREE EVERYWHERE!!!!! But, charging SALES TAX??? Totally illegal!!! DO NOT GO TO LANGSTON unless you have money to burn. PS. Always record your conversations. It helps when theives try to hit you on the backend. Oh yeah, great bunch of guys at DARRELL'S on broadway did it for $100 NO TAX!!! Thanks Darrell!!!

So glad I decided to use these guys. They're right next door from the company I work for. I'm new to this office and had no understanding why we weren't using them for our fleet of vehicles. So, I took mine in for a check up and the rest is history. Langston's is now our go to mechanic. They do great work and I totally recommend them.

I bought my car in for some rear end work and it was done well. But they failed to mention that they bent one of my aftermarket 22inch rims? I didn't even mention it because all they will say is that they didn't do it. My rim wasn't bent when I bought it in, and it's the same wheel in which where my mechanical problems began. Lesson learned to check all of your car when picking it up🙄 since I haven't done this I bought a new rim and it still appears I have a slight wobble and feels like I have a warped rotor or something. But at $1400 I still have an issue with the same wheel. I won't bring it back because if they would have test drove it they would have noticed it.

The guys at Langston's are the type of people you want to meet when you break down far from home. We were on our way from AZ to VA when our Volvo ignition malfunctioned; they were able to diagnose the problem that day and get us back on the road in less than 24 hours (the local Volvo dealership would not have been able to even look at the car until the next day). The final cost to fix the car very reasonable; plus Charles drove us, and our two cats, to a hotel for the night and picked us up in the morning. Thanks again!

I got stuck in Little Rock one night on my way to Memphis when my clutch stopped working. I pulled into a motel just in time and called Langston the next day after searching the internet for good reviews. He returned my call after seeing a missed number. Not only did he give a quote far less than other competitors for a clutch replacement/repair, but he took the time over the phone to give a possible diagnosis, guiding me what to look for under the hood. Turns out, there was just too much air in the clutch/brake fluid and I needed to top it off and pump the air out. His free advice saved me from having to pay for extra nights at the motel (since it was a Saturday and most work couldn't be done until Monday or Tuesday), towing service, and unnecessary repairs or inspections. I only paid $3 for some brake fluid. I have so much respect for people like this. If you're looking for an honest mechanic, Langston is the place to go.

I've been taking my car to Langston's for several years. Always professional, always reasonably priced. They make sure the work is done right. Honest mechanics - I prefer them to the dealer, because the dealer wants my money more than to actually take care of me.

‼️⚠️COMPLETE SCAM & OVER PRICED⚠️‼️ I took my jeep there to get my ball joints replaced. Charles told me that they could do it. My car was there over a week. I told him I wanted to pick my car up because they were holding my car and not working on my vehicle .Charles told me I had to pay a re stock fee because they had to SPECIAL order the parts ( WHICH WAS A LIE). HE was also charging me $1,551.00 to fix my car. I had my car towed to another shop. My car was fixed the same day and I only had to pay 400.00. And they did not have to special order any parts. COMPLETE RIP OFF. He also lied to me about starting on my car , I asked him what all did he do to it so far he stated “ they took the tire off “ my car was there a week and all they did was take the tire off . & made me pay $138 to get my car.

I will of course be biased of this shop as it is my father in law's shop. However my review rings true. Mr. Langston will always be honest with repair work and will never ever charge you more than required. If he is unable to do the repair he will be upfront and not bill you for unnecessary work. His staff are all down to earth and have a good working knowledge of many retail car brands. If you want a more down to earth one-on-one experience when you seek car care, you can't do any better than here. And if you have a need of a used vehicle at a fair price, he has those too.

The guys at Langston's are experienced, courteous, professional, and downright good at what they do. Most of all, they're honest. We have a fleet of vehicles, as well as our employees' personal vehicles. Langston's has proven to have talented and dedicated mechanics, but they also stand behind their work, and most of all, charge fairly for their work. They're good corporate citizens, too.
