I highly suggest you find a different mechanic to work on your vehicle if you are having problems. Terry, the owner and mechanic, is a really nice guy but very untrustworthy. He came recommended so I thought I would give him a chance. I had a coolant leak and he replaced my water pump and radiator for $650. It needed to be done so that was ok. I got my car back and then I noticed shortly after that my heater was not working correctly. He said to call him if there were any problems. So I called him, brought my car back in, and then a week later he finally called me to "talk" about my options. He said my block was so gunked up that the only choices I had was to either sell my car for a few hundred dollars, pay him $1400 to repair it but he couldn't guarantee that would even fix the problem, or pay him $2300 to completely replace the motor. He also told me that it was so bad that if I even drove my car a mile in the condition it was in then I would end up on the side of the road due to overheating. I talked it over with my wife and we decided we wanted a second opinion. He kept saying that it would overheat but we got it back from him in the end either way and guess what....it didn't overheat. It drove fine all the way home and then some. That weekend we had a friend come look at it and found that the heater core was leaking. So I replaced the heater core for a $100 plus $200 for someone to put it in and my car has been running fine ever since. This guy was very close to costing me my car either because he is a snake or just a very bad mechanic. If you really need to go through him, be very cautious. He may be a really nice guy but even nice guys can be quite deceitful.

I highly recommend Liberty Lake Auto Repair, he got me in and replaced my water pump and other service's in a timely manner. He also noticed my air filter needed cleaning and cleared my over heating engine light notification. Thanks for going the extra mile and helping me out.

Terry was absolutely fantastic! Yes as all auto repairs go they are always worse than you hope for. But Terry made it less painfull.. I feel that now I have a mechanic that I can trust. I will only call Liberty Lake Auto from now on.

Amazing service! I took my car to a big car place down the road and they wanted to charge me almost $150 just to look at my car plus it was gonna take 3 hrs....so I called this place and he fixed my belt at no charge. It took him 5 min to tighten it. I was absolutely in awe by how awesome this guy is! He really cares about people and doesn't rip u off. Actually is an amazing person. He saved me money for Christmas presentd for my 4 children. Thank u so so much! I will come back to u every time.

Great prices & friendly owner! I have taken my vehicles to Terry many times and always recommend him. The one word of warning I always give though is to not put much stock in his time estimates; once he has your car it will be done when it's done. Still, he has always been fair and straight forward, and is always willing to explain his diagnosis.

The good news is that he worked with me and I paid a little at a time, while he worked on my truck! Since we were both Air Force, we had a lot to talk about, too!! This is one of the best places I have gone to have work done on a vehicle. Our heater went out in our van, but we couldn't put it in ourselves. Terry installed it for us for a great price. My son-in-law has also had his truck into Terry many times to have it worked on and has had a very positive experience each time. Sometimes it takes a little longer than anticipated, but I would rather have excellent work done that takes a little more time, then lack luster work and "surprises" coming up from other shops that will tell you that 3-4 other things need to be replaced that don't really need to be. My son-in-law and I will be going to Terry anytime we need work done on our vehicles.

Don't look any further for mechanic - you won't find a better service, price or mechanical knowledge anywhere than here. Terry really knows what he's doing and not trying to overcharge you . He'll give you the best advice possible! I've brought my 2008 Lexus Rx350 there a couple of times and left very happy with results. Terry also gave me a very useful advice to make sure my car is running properly. His prices were twice lower than anybody's around. I honestly think he's undercharging for the quality of service he provides! Definitely will be back.

Had an amazing experience. My alternator went out and I needed my car for work the coming weekend. He squeeze my car in and even stayed late to get it done before he went out if town for the weekend. Reasonable pricing and a really nice man. Will be bringing my car here for all my fixing needs!
