I took my 2008 Lexus Gs350 to lifetime transmission I had some Issues where my car wouldn’t go into gear when it was extremely cold. I didn’t know if I needed a new transmission or just some maintenance done to it. However I took it to them On a Thursday in my car was out by Friday ready to go. Great customer service. They are way over priced. They had my car for almost six days just for testing. They don’t let you know what days they are closed, especially when you’re trying to get your car back. Then they have you try to get financial assistance and you get but can’t use it so you end paying out of pocket for it. Worst experience of my life

I brought my girlfriend’s car to your shop for a transmission diagnosis, and what I got instead was a masterclass in incompetence, shady business practices, and outright disrespect for your customers. You quoted me $6,500 for a full transmission replacement—an outrageous sum that I could have stomached if it were necessary. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t.
Let’s talk about how you delivered this news: six minutes before you closed on Thursday. Six. Minutes. You dumped a $6,500 problem in my lap with no explanation, no breakdown of time or cost, and certainly no empathy, then you locked the doors and vanished for the next three days. No calls. No updates. Nothing. I sat stranded, without my car, for four full days because you couldn’t be bothered to communicate like a professional.
And for this circus of incompetence, you still had the audacity to charge me $135 for your so-called “diagnosis.” You took my money, handed me a wildly inflated repair estimate, and made my car’s condition worse.
Because here’s where you really outdid yourselves: when I finally got my car back, you had overfilled the transmission by two quarts. For those who don’t know, that’s not a small mistake. It’s a death sentence for a transmission. Either you’re so utterly incompetent that you don’t understand basic vehicle maintenance, or you deliberately sabotaged my car to ensure it would require a replacement. Which one is it? Incompetence or dishonesty? I’m genuinely curious because either way, it’s appalling.
And now the cherry on top: I took my car to an honest, skilled mechanic who confirmed I don’t need a new transmission at all. You were ready to charge me $6,500 for a repair I didn’t need while actively making my car’s condition worse.
So, to recap:
1. You charged me $135 for a completely bogus and irresponsible “diagnosis.”
2. You gave me a wildly inflated repair quote with no explanation or breakdown.
3. You delivered this quote six minutes before closing via email and ghosted me for four days, leaving me stranded.
4. You returned my car in worse shape by overfilling the transmission, risking catastrophic damage.
5. Another mechanic proved your diagnosis was not only wrong but dangerously unprofessional.
This isn’t just bad service; it’s predatory. Either you’re scamming your customers, or you’re so unqualified that you’re a liability to anyone who trusts you with their vehicle. If you value your car, your money, and your sanity, avoid this shop at all costs.
I wouldn’t trust you to fill a gas tank, let alone touch anything under the hood. Your business is a joke, and the punchline is on anyone unfortunate enough to walk through your doors.
And trust me—I’ll be spreading the word.
