My wife and I have a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox with a 2.4 engine that was throwing cam positions sensor code. I replaced the sensor and after 30 or so miles it threw that code once again. So we decided to drop off the car at lxtoy to see what the problem was. They diagnosed the problem, which was spot on by the way, gave us a price which we felt to be very fare and reasonable for the timming chain and sprocket, seals and the serpentine belt. Job well done! From this point on any work we need to have done on our vehicle's lxtoy will be my first choice. Thank you! David M PS, job well done!

If you are looking for high-quality service that you can trust and afford, LxToy Auto Care is for you. I have been to many car repair places and found this one 3 years ago. I never go to another one after that even when I moved to another area. This is a family-owned business by the nicest and most honest people. They even offered to give you a ride if you need to go somewhere while your car is in repair. Jose and his team are very experienced, dedicated, and always did a great job on my car's repair and maintenance. They really care about the customers. Highly recommended!

I should have, I have never had an issue with their services - it perfect just the way I would have received it at a Lexus dealership - which was where I loved to go…. Need an honest mechanic? LOOK NO FURTHER!!! This family owned business is a great place to get car repairs done. When I called to ask about having my alternator replaced, they gave me the exact cost of parts labor and tax and were able to get it done in a few hours.. I had them change my oil at the same time. They are honest, friendly and reasonably priced

I’m so glad I came here. I brought my vehicle in after a recommendation from the previous owner of the vehicle. Amazing customer service from the phone to the technician working on my car. Upfront about the cost and the time required to perform the service. Jose took time to give me advice on lifting and getting the vehicle off road ready. This is a family owned business. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I just got my car back from LxToy and I could not be more pleased. I took my 2007 Lexus in there and Jose was extremely knowledgeable on this vehicle and the specifics that go into a hybrid. I am always nervous taking such an old vehicle into get repairs due to the low value the car holds to start with. When I took my car in, I told Jose I just want to get the car running again. He told me what was wrong, gave me the price it would cost to fix it, and did just that. When I checked out, he gave me a few other things that might go wrong in the future, but he did not push me to get those at this time and recommended I just drive the car for a while and if there are more issues, then bring it in at that time. Every other place I have taken my car, they try and push you to do 100 different things just to make more money. LxToy did not do that at all. I would recommend everyone go here, especially those who want a specialist on hybrid vehicles (which not all shops know that technology).

Without a doubt, this is the place to get your Toyota/Lexus serviced at. They were very courteous, helpful, and straightforward with everything that was being done. Job was completed at the time they said it was going to be done. I had the rear differential fluid changed out the first time. They quoted me at a pretty reasonable price, at least way more affordable than the dealer. At pickup, I also wanted to get the transmission fluid changed in my GS350 and knowing it was a "sealed" transmission and it wouldn't be cheap. They quoted me and WOW I was impressed at the quote I received. Went ahead and got that done (on another day due to the amount of time it took to replace the fluid). During the fluid change, they noticed I needed a new belt and with my approval, they changed that too. I will definitely be coming back here with more service needs. These guys will take care of you from when you walk through the door to when you leave with your car. Highly recommend!

Ok where do I start. Nice lady and friendly that works the front. I don’t have anything bad to say about her. But the husband, he definitely became sour after I said I was going to install the water pump myself after he identified that it was that issue. No offense on him not doing the work but he wanted to charge $1300 for a replacement, that has to be out of the world. Sheesh. And then he had the audacity to say my battery was bad. No its a year old. You left my car on all night without killing the power. I told them I found the water pump and gasket online Honda OEM website, directly for $480 out the door. YouTube showed me exactly how to get there. 5 bolt. Bam. 1-2 hour fix. They wanted to charge me for a new battery, I took the car immediately to autozone after I picked it up from them and of course paid their diagnostic charge of $130. And autozone said my battery was good. Long story short because I could probably keep going but now I’m tired of typing this. DO NOT GO TO THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR MORE THAN WHAT THE ISSUE IS. Oh let me add I had the codes pulled already prior to me taking it to them so I already knew the issue just wanted to make sure it was the water pump. Anyways shame on them for not being completely honest.

In a time when honest, dependable mechanics are hard to find, LxToy Automotive stands out as a true gem in the Mid-Cities area. Their estimates are consistently fair and reasonable. Nelly (Office Manager) is both personable and knowledgeable, making the customer experience smooth and reassuring. Unlike other shops that let beginners learn on your expensive vehicle, Jose and his team are seasoned professionals, specializing in Toyota and Lexus models. They have performed extensive work done at on my older 2005 Toyota Camry, including tie rod replacements, an AC condenser replacement, and brake bleed maintenance, and every job was completed with master-mechanic precision. After dealing with multiple nightmare scenarios in the DFW area, I can confidently say: if you're looking for an honest, skilled auto shop, I can't recommend LxToy highly enough.
