I have had Jon and Maria assist me in repainting a few of my trucks and they never disappoint. Between the photo updates, reasonable timelines, and a great product - they are second to none. The prices are more than fair and they work with you to achieve the paint job that you want - and even Bedliner! I would recommend from anyone doing a budget repair to a full color change/panel removal repaint.

Took a decades old in camper shell in. Looks better than a new one. They took everything apart as you’d expect before painting - even replaced some old worn screws for me on reassembly and added some paint on my truck itself (with my consultation of course) where the truck had an aftermarket liner of a contrasting color. Great work, above and beyond - not cheap but worth every penny.

This is an overdue 5 star rating for the team at the Phelan Ave Maaco. Brandon, Maria, John and everyone that worked on my Camaro were fantastic to work with. The full car had factory clear coat peeling and there was some slight rust under the driver side TTop, and a dent on the driver rear quarter that I did not work on for years. Everything is fixed and the Camaro looks like it did when we bought it new in 99. Upon pick up inspection I pointed out some spots to improve and the team took my notes, made sure they understood what was needed, then went beyond expectations to make the car right. I was waiting to get better pics but these will have to do. Definitely happy to have my car looking amazing! Thank you Maaco team!

I waited 3 months and doing my first hand wash to see if the paint peeled - not one bit. I'm still tickled pink (orange). Jon, Maria, and the painter did an excellent job at an excellent price - wow! Other places wanted to charge 3-4 times more. Every detail was taken care of, color matching to the model car (sunset orange), touch up paint, parts I removed to paint separately, extra polishing, removing and reattaching emblems, headlight restoration, repair, keeping me informed. Even when I forgot stuff in my trunk, they took care to keep it safe. My old paint job was still good but I wanted to change from boring silver. I love my car and hope to keep it for as long as I can drive. I never expected a paint job as good as factory. I'm pleased is an understatement. I will never go to anywhere else!

My experience with Maaco in San Jose was very good. Last year they repainted my 2014 Mercedes C300. I was so impressed by their work I had Maaco repaint my 2004 Toyota Sequoia. Their prices were very reasonable and the work was very professional. I highly recommend that if you are planning on getting the same work done on your car you should talk to the John at Maaco of San Jose.

I'm so happy that I brought my car here to be repainted. It looks amazing. The customer service is fantastic. I missed the holiday special by a couple of days, but the owner extended it for me, which I really appreciated. I was worried cost would be an issue, but Maaco was affordable with the discount. I don't know what other places charge, but I had heard from others what it might be and it wouldn't have been affordable. My car was done in 2 days not the 6 days originally estimated. The owner was very accommodating with my payment method because my bank has a daily Zelle limit. I really appreciated his flexibility in that. I also liked that they called an Uber both ways for me. I highly recommend this Maaco location.

I scraped the area near the right rear tire on the garage wall and got estimates from about five different shops. As a result, other shops quoted between $1,700 and $4,200, but this place offered a much more reasonable price. On top of that, the staff assured me they were confident they could fix it beautifully, so I decided to go with Maaco San Jose. As you can see in the photos, they repaired it perfectly. So I wanted to get my 2002 Tacoma repainted . It had the typical Toyota white paint peeling . I spoke to a few different body shops and go quotes for a paint job . Most were 4-6k for minimal body work and a white paint . I went to Maaco and spoke to Vince and he gave me a quote for less the 2300.00 For there mid level paint service with urethane single stage paint. I had them paint the truck and ended up also having a custom orange bedliner down for and additional 500.00. Paint and bedliner came out pretty nice. Better than I expected for the price . 👍🏽Only issues where some over spray on my brand new headlights and them not removing the bed tie down hooks before bedliner after I asked if If they wanted me to come and remove them but said they would do it .🤦‍♂️ I will give them 9 outta 10 for the job overall . Hard to beat for the money for sure !

He laid out the details of the service and the cost clearly—there were no surprises, and their pricing is very competitive. The turnaround was impressively fast. Right at the appointed time, I received a call letting me know the job was finished. When I arrived, I met Brandon, who walked me through the work for a final review. Brandon was incredibly courteous, articulate, and helpful with the payment process. He is a truly authentic and genuinely thoughtful person. My 1970 Boss 302 which was pretty much in concourse condition had a paint issue with my rear deck lid. Another place had tried to fix a few rock chips but clearly did not match the paint perfectly. After reading the reviews for Maaco here on Phelan Ave I came in to see if I could trust them the do a better job. I spoke to Brandon and he gave me the confidence to trust he and his staff. Most body shops are just looking for insurance jobs and won't touch a small important car like this which did win the VMOA SAAC 2023 Best of Show. I dropped it off and in about a week for a very good price it was completed to perfection. I would recommend this shop and the pictures prove it.
