Had my truck fixed after a deer encounter a few years ago. Markquart fixed it good as new. The bumper trim had some paint peeling off, so I called to ask about it. Brought it in and they said that’s covered under your parts and labor warranty. They ordered a new trim, painted it, had me come in and had it swapped out in 30 minutes. This shop is top of the line!

Very unhappy with my experience and I will never be going back. Story time: I got in an accident with my Subaru Forester back in early January, hit black ice, $7400 in damages. Markquart got my car in February and back to me “fixed” by mid March. Upon getting my car back, it would not drive straight, steering wheel clearly sat hard to the right, loud clunking underneath and my rear window wouldn’t work. NO one clearly test drove or ran an alignment test on my car that was in a massive accident! I was told it was not on them to take cars for drives at high speeds… I was going 25mph and it would drive right off the road. I called Chris, left a voicemail and didn’t hear back until 2 weeks later. I could hardly drive my car and I was in disbelief they would think that was ok or safe to put back on the road. Brought it back, wrote down everything that was wrong with my car so they knew what to fix. Came to pick up my car, and my window still didn’t work… had to schedule another appointment to get back in. Got back in to fix my window, but then was told they had to order a part. I was also told that it was coincidence that the window went out at the same time as my accident, so it would not be covered. It worked before my accident, but then “coincidentally“ stopped working at the same time as my accident… what? Thankfully, I was told the part was only $35 out of pocket. Got the call my part was in, brought my car back for the 4th time and apparently they diagnosed it wrong and it was the wrong window motor. Good news, they had the part on hand that we needed, so they gave me a loaner for the day and said they’d call when it was done. I go in to pick up my car and they tell me I owe $211, not $35. Over 5x more than what they told me. No one called me about the new cost or communicated anything! So here we are, almost June, got in my accident in the beginning of January and my car is finally fixed, hopefully. I will not be going back and will highly recommend people to never go here.

First of all the work they did was mind blowing good, considering the damage we did to the car. I loved the constant text updates on the progress of my car and the fact that they gave us a loaner car at no cost was the cherry on the cake. The only downside to my experience was when it came time to pay I was planning on using a credit card but for some reason this place is one of those "we will add 3% on if you use anything other than cash/debit". I guess I would expect this from a small business but not Markquart! Overall pretty good place to take a beat up car, I would go here again (lets hope i don't have to)

Markquart says: “Everything we do is done with our customers in mind… being there every step of the way from the estimate… We want your experience to be everything you expect and more.” My experience was the opposite. I called to schedule an appointment for a simple estimate on a dent and a few scratches. The lady asked about my insurance, and when I said I didn’t have collision, she replied “they like to keep their people busy” and told me I first needed to get an estimate from my insurance before they would provide one. Later, I saw their website offers “drive-up estimates,” so I went in person. Still no estimate without meeting that undisclosed requirement. Even if they had disclosed it, the policy is ridiculous. An estimate is supposed to be the first step, not something you can only get after jumping through insurance hoops. This is a big, multi-branch operation that sells cars, washes cars, services cars, and fixes cars, yet they couldn’t be bothered to look at a dent and a few scratches. Altoona Auto Body, a much smaller local shop, looked at my vehicle immediately and gave me a free estimate, no jumping through hoops. If a small shop like Altoona Auto Body can do it, a big business like Markquart has no excuse. EDIT: Notice the generic response from the owner. It doesn’t address the real issue. You refused to give me the drive-up estimate you advertise. Actions speak louder than words.

I seriously love this place!!! Wouldn't take m truck anywhere else!!! I hit a deer and there was a ton of damage. The truck looked better than new when I picked it up, and they had it done in a timely fashion!! A couple months later I had scratched the paint on my truck trying to get sap off of it. Not only did Jim and Matt fix it right up, they took the time to teach me how to get sap off correctly next time. The service is amazing, the staff is friendly, they are straight forward and I can't imagine taking any vehicle anywhere else again!!! I can't thank these guys and gals enough!!!
