Excellent work at a reasonable price. I appreciate good honest work. After Aamco (S Kelly, Edmond Ok) diagnosed my transmission problem (ECM/PCM) and wanted $1368 to repair it, I got a second opinon from Master Tech, Del City, OK who repaired & replaced completely different items (TCM & wiring) for only $513, resulting in a savings of at least $813 & potentially $1000s more. Highly recommend master tech transmission! I’ll try to make a long story short, we are not locals, we are on a long trip across the country and unfortunately our 3rd & 4th gear blew on us. The fortunate part was that it happened in OKC. Upon being stuck in the highway for 2 hours and several calls to other local shops, master tech Transmissions came to the rescue. They are a family owned business, very honest with pricing, and did a whole transmission rebuild for us and were able to get us back on the road the very next day. I was in complete awe, because they went above and beyond to make sure everything was good to go, they made sure they can get us back on the road without having to wait weeks here like other shops were telling us. They made sure while we waited for the truck to be finished that we had a hotel to stay and ride to get to and from. To the locals: you guys are extremely blessed to have an amazing shop nearby. To the visitors: this is the shop to go! Don’t waste time looking around like we did. I hope one day to come back to vacation and just stop by to say hi and thank them again for such an amazing service and experience in OKC.

Great service, great employees, great management, and they do great work. You absolutely can not go wrong with this place! They are very knowledgeable and very helpful with any questions you may have. I can't suggest this place enough. Oh and they are very honest which is hard to find at most automotive shops! On 10/1/2019 driving from TX to SD, I arrived OK at approximately 10:30am and my 1985 Chevy C-30 "Dooley" 454 cu-in, TH-400 Automatic Transmission, lost power. The engine ran and I had first gear. Through connections with the "Under The Hood" radio program they helped me find Master Tech Transmissions, Del City, OK. Fortunately I was about 1 mile away. I met with Dennis at Master Tech and he was very professional and explained what could be the possibilities for the problem. They found the problem and showed me. A small nylon gear located at the rear of the transmission needed replacing; however, the entire transmission had to be removed and taken apart to get to the gear. Basically, this was a transmission overhaul without the overhaul, only to replace the gear. They knew my situation as I was headed to SD and they did the complete job and I was back on the road by 6:30pm that evening. The job cost just under $1,300 and I was never so happy - that was the best $1,300 I had spent a long time. I appreciate Dennis and his staff for helping me get my vehicle running and back on the road. Incredible service! 2 years later,.... On July 13, 2021, I am driving from SD back to TX in the same vehicle and I lose power - engine ran but could not shift out of first gear. Near similar type of problem as in 2019. I called Dennis at Master Tech and together over the phone we walk through many scenarios trying to diagnose what the problem could be with the transmission. It was a lot of time Dennis took out of his day with me over the phone and I felt grateful for his working with me to help a stranded motorist (me). We were unable to diagnose the issue and I had to take my vehicle to a local transmission shop in Waco, TX - Oliver Bros. I provided all the detail to Oliver Brothers Transmissions and it help reduce time of problem diagnosis and I was back on the road in a couple of hours. I have praise only for Dennis and Master Tech Transmissions. They are professional and repaired my transmission and then went out of their way to help me - 2 years later - that is what I call SERVICE! Thank you Dennis and Master Tech. I highly recommend Dennis and Master Tech Transmissions.

Fast reliable service. Honest prices and pretty fast turnaround. Don't let the name mislead you. They do everything, not just transmissions. I've been using them for over 20 years on about 10 different cars of all makes. Ask for Lewis. He owns the place and is great and is to the point. The ladies behind the desk are fantastic.

I can't recommend Lewis, Dennis and the rest of their staff highly enough! We were in town visiting family for the holidays when the transmission went out of our truck. Lewis came highly recommended from another local business owner as well as a family member. As a fellow business owner, I can say they conducted themselves with the highest professionalism. They asked me many questions about my truck, how I use it and only then recommended rebuilding with parts that would work for me. They worked me into their busy schedule as Lewis worked late one night and came in early the next morning, finishing the transmission and torque converter a full day earlier than promised. I was plenty happy with their original timeframe and ultra-happy with an early completion. The final invoice came in exactly on their estimate. The quality of work is second to none as the truck runs great and shifts better than when it was new. The truck now has a transmission that is far better than new, was custom built to our specifications, and at a comparable cost to an OEM replacement that was in very short supply! They rebuilt my truck's transmission. It accelerates like butter now. One month later, I took my Honda to them to replace the master brake cylinder (they quoted $250+ less than the dealer) and asked them to diagnose my AC. Got both items taken care of. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday while replacing my headlight to discover that they fixed my bumper (it had been held on with zip-ties) so it's nicely & properly secured now. Awesome, friendly staff. They do great work!

My transmission line ruptured and all fluid leaked out in texas. The local shop told me I needed a new transmission. I spoke to Lewis at master tech and he told me my transmission was probably good since the fluid drained so rapidly. I told the shop in texas to repair the line and add fluid. Lewis was 100% correct. I made it all the way back to utah towing a trailer. I highly recommend this place. They are very knowledgeable and saved me alot of money!

It Has been about six months since they fixed and re-wrote my ecu, and still works perfectly. They had my car for 2-3 years (there were no computers for my car, and if there were then they weren't coded correctly from where we ordered them frombecause the car is discontinued and decently rare) and they never gave up trying to find a solution. Any other shop would never hold a car that long to fix the problem. If it weren't for them, we would've had to scrap the car entirely. They went above and beyond fixing my vehicle and I am very grateful for them.

I haven't used them so I can't speak on the quality of work or anything of that nature. However I did call to get a rough estimate and I was informed that they wouldn't be able to do it on the weekend as their supplier isnt open. I asked the gentlemen I spoke with if I could leave my number and he could call me back once he got the information. He informed me that it would be better for me to call him back and I quote "he does not want to have to remember ". If he isn't motivated enough to write on a sheet of paper for a possiblenew customer, there's no way he is motivated enough to install a transmission with quality!

I take all my vehicles here. Most recently i took my RamCharger in to get transmission rebuilt,. They knocked that badboy out quick and now it drives and shifts perfect. Now they are getting ready to adjust it for my fuel injection swap (kickdown cable on transmission). They even helped me find a fella to help get my new components installed for me since I dont have the time these days and to reduce back and forth between my house and their shop. Now mind you they didnt have to help me whatsoever to find a fella to install my parts. They did it because they are good folks that want to see me get down the road with my truck as fast as possible. They get things cranked out pretty quickly, but remember that things take time, parts might not be in stock at the local parts houses, and transmissions are complicated as all hell so give some grace here as there is a reason you are taking it to the shop and not doing it yourself. Anyhow, Overall solid dudes. Lewis is a hell of a guy and so is Dennis, will get you back on the road if you work with them and let them do their job.
