I want to leave a review from a car I got repaired here 5 years ago. It was a 2009 Honda civic. It did me well and I appreciate the radiator and front bumper. I'll be seeing you soon.

I hope everyone see’s how unprofessional this man is. Below you call me a “delusional ingrate of low character” but your the one who don’t return phone calls nor voicemails. So practice what you preach, like I stated before everything that you were supposed to do that was on the receipts which I STILL have and can post for past and future customers can see wasn’t done to my car. I’ll take the high road as an intelligent young man and just say that you took my car and made it look, sound, and operate like a piece of trash. The proof is in the pudding I can post my before and after pics of your work. Once again Mr. Gary is very unprofessional, and you guys can see that by the comment he left below my first post.

Ladies and Gentleman, Please don’t be fooled by these “good” reviews by the owner (Gary) who told these customers to write them. I have a sibling who recently had some work done to their car from Maverick Auto Body and honestly the service was very poor and unprofessional. During the time (Gary) the owner had went through and fired two or three guys that were working for him. The repairs on the car were rushed and you can tell by looking at the car that they were in which pictures can be provided. Overall this man is very unprofessional, he didn’t make it known that he provides a student discount. Secondly the balance that was charged was not worth the “finish product” if you’re going to go to a junk yard and buy parts I would suggest you show RECEIPTS on the parts that you purchased instead of charging a college student an arm and a leg to fix a car. Please don’t let the “I’m a nice guy” talk fool you. Oh!!! He doesn’t call months prior to doing his work to check on the status of your vehicle, and that just screams unprofessionalism.

Thank you to Gary and his team for fixing up my Nissan Sentra after backing it into a mailbox. Had very reasonable pricing, and a student discount. Brought it in one morning, and got my car the very next afternoon, looking brand new. Highly recommend Maverick's Auto Body!

I really debated on making a review, but from the looks of it I’m not the only one. Mr. Gary is VERY unprofessional. I took my 2001 Mitsubishi Galant to him because of an accident I had been in. I told him what needed to be done and the grand total for everything was $1,600 mind you I was a college student at the time. So I took out a loan for him to start the process and get everything done. During the time my car was sitting and he had went through different mechanics due to some misalliance things just like the young lady stated below. Once he informed me that he was going to be working on my car alone I reminded him that I didn’t want a “rushed” job. Nevertheless when I got my car back that’s what is looked like a rushed job. Everything that was written on my receipt was not done. He went to a junk yard to get parts that wasn’t compatible with the color and model of my car, and I never got a paint job. To this day I have called him, and I’ve yet to receive a call back. Please don’t be fooled I paid him $1,600 for a job that should have been $800.00 dollars at least. If I could post photos I would definitely show you the mess that was done to my car and how it looked before the accident and after.

Gary does great work down on spring garden. The work is good and the price is honest. He is a small operation so if he cant take your call he will call you back. He has painted my truck and at least 3 others and I have seen nothing but good work.

I have visited this shop twice over the course of about three years, and have had zero problems. The first time, I was in a pretty big wreck where we had to replace a small portion of the front end of my vehicle. Since then, I have had zero issues related to how my car runs. I also, more recently, needed a paint job because my car is 15 years old and has never been stored in a garage. Gary was not only personable, but gave me a much better price than any of the surrounding shops, even when it took more labor than initially predicted. I will definitely be seeing these guys for any future needs with auto repair.

Gary is a real nice guy. Helped me get my vehicle back as quickly as possible, especially when I was in a messed up position. He kept me updated as much as possible with the best communication manner, even when I felt I was being worrisome and rushing the process. All in all I was satisfied with the body work and getting my van fixed, as if it was never damaged.

This was my first experience with Gary. What a wonderful experience I had. My truck was repaired and fixed in a timely manner. He was honest , a fair price and just made it look new again. I would highly recommend Maverick and Gary to anyone needing any body or paint work. Avoid big corporate and stay local! Keep it with Gary! 5 stars all the way. Thank you 😊 🙏

The good: Gary is very professional. I found him to be easy to talk with, which stands in contrast to many other auto paint and body shops. He did good work on my vehicle. Even when I decided to change plans and pull my car from his shop, he continued to be kind and he went above and beyond to help me get the vehicle ready to go. He was professional, even when I questioned him about certain things. The bad: The process did not go according to the plan Gary initially laid out, and I was disappointed he failed to contact me when things changed on his end. A key reason I selected Maverick is because his plan was to strip down all the layers of paint, to better see the condition of the body panels, and then he would call me in for a meeting to discuss the full plan and price. This approach made a lot of sense to me. I prepaid for the initial strip down. Then I checked in weekly (I physically visited), and after 4 weeks I finally got him to setup the promised meeting. During this planning meeting, he handed me another bill, for thousands of dollars of additional body work he had already started without my permission! At this point, we had not held the promised meeting to look at the car and discuss a plan and price. At this point, he still would not give me an estimate, and said he needed more time. After a few more weeks, I finally got him to meet with me to provide me with an assessment and written estimate. Unfortunately, in the meantime, he did even more work, billing me thousands more! He then said the car would be sprayed very soon with a primer, to seal it off from moisture in the air. Made sense to me. The final straw was when I stopped by and my car was sitting outside in the rain, in bare metal. It was under a tarp, but the car was wet along the lower sections. I was worried it would rust. When. I asked him why he hadn't primed the car as promised before moving it out in the rain, he simply said it would be ok because it's under a tarp. This was not consistent with his previous statements. So to sum it up, I was concerned the car might have rust issues in the future from the time in bare metal, plus the process and costs had not been communicated as I was originally told, and I realized I was paying a premium price for all of this. Not what I signed up for. So I pulled my car, with the work partially done, and went to a larger body shop where I was much happier. In my opinion, I would not recommend Gary and his Maverick auto body for a complex job on a classic car such as mine. I got better results elsewhere. However, I could see where Maverick could be ideal for newer vehicles needing minor to moderate work body work and paint. He seemed to be cranking out work on newer cars during the times I visited. He was proud to show me his work on local fleet vehicles. I want to mention that another reason I initially picked Gary at Maverick was the small local shop. I prefer to support local businesses. I usually get better communication and customer service from local businesses, so I am willing to pay a bit more. Although I was unhappy with certain aspects of the communication especially around the pricing and repair process, I am still happy with the professional customer service that was provided by Gary. Seems like a good guy. Good luck.
