I recently stopped at this tire shop, because I needed air in my tire. I spoke to the store manager, and he said that I see you have two of our tires on the back of your car if You need tires I will give you 50.00 Off. I said OK I’ll be back later on in the week so I returned on last Friday 10/10/25 Around 4:15 PM and I see it was really busy. The guy at the desk told me that they have quite a few cars ahead of me so I spoke with the store owner again and he told me to come back on Monday or Tuesday of next week.. I returned on Tuesday, which was the October 14.2025. there was three employees there one was already working on a car and the other two Employees were sitting in the chair on their phones. Coming into the store, the store manager, who was sitting in the chair Said to me, oh you returned and I said yes I want to get two tires put on. He said we only have one guy working right now and he already has another car so I have No time today for you. I was surprised because when I came before I seen him and the other guy that was sitting in the Chair they were both working on the Cars. So I asked the store manager if he could just take a nail out of my tire and fix it. And he said no because we only have one guy working. The whole time The store manager was talking to me, He never got up out of his chair to come to the counter and talk to me. Never requested for me to come back on a slow day never offered me an Appointment. Just told me we can’t do it today. This is normally not my location to go to. I have used your tires for years now. I live in Princeton so usually I go the Princeton location. I just stopped at this location because I work for New Jersey Department of corrections And this was close to my job. So needless to say, I left there feeling kind of frustrated. I could understand if these two gentlemen are not able to change tires, but because I’ve seen them work on cars, I knew they were capable of doing that. Also looking at how unkept and nasty the store was, I’ve always been taught if you have time to lean, you have time to clean.I went to the location on my way home on route 1 Which is still a Mavis location And they took care of me right away, and I was out of there within an hour.

I buy tires from the Olden Ave., Ewing NJ Mavis. I love the fact that the staff and management is so friendly and attentive, even when all I need is air in my tires. They trouble shoot and do gemeral car maintenance and repairs at fair prices, no games. I go to them for multiple car service needs. Mavis has numerous shops throughout the north and south east so I feel secure that I can go to them anywhere should an issue come up. They also honor their warranties. Great job!

Absolutely terrible experience. I came here a few months ago for a brake change. Soon after, I started hearing a strange noise and brought the car back in. They charged me $230, claiming they’d fix it under warranty, but the issue was never resolved. The noise persisted exactly as before.To make matters worse, they ended up messing up my parking brake during the visit. When I returned immediately to address it, the staff were incredibly rude and tried to shift the blame onto me. They eventually fixed the parking brake, but left grease stains all over the interior. When I asked again about the noise, they casually said, “it will happen”, the same response I got earlier. No proper explanation, no accountability, and certainly no resolution.
