This location is excellent!!! Came in after dropping the kids at school because my brakes already needed a change asap! Have in mind that if you come in without appointment they will take it’s time to get you in. But it’s not a crazy hospital wait! 😅 Once they took my car in they had to change front rotors and brakes (I figured this before taking my car in) and just the back brakes. I used a Groupon code for one of the services that they honor without problem. They have Apple pay and make the payment so easy. Chris in the front desk and in charge of the place makes and excellent job! Super friendly and professional. They speak English and Spanish as well!

I am a repeat customer who is very satisfied with Meineke’s services. Mike from the Elizabeth Rahway Ave location was especially helpful in explaining everything that went wrong with my car’s a/c. They were able to get it back to working condition in a timely manner. Wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else!

Had an 8a appointment for an oil change, mechanic doesn't arrive until 8:30a to open up. Was advised that they were out of oil and suggested that I come back after 11a. Sad thing is that I received an appointment reminder text from the service center. Guess good customer service and communication aren't important here. Didn't waste my time or money by returning.

They are a bunch of rip offs. My son keeps taking his car over there and it keeps breaking for some reason now it doesn’t turn on and they were supposed to fix the battery but didn’t. The negative has something around like sizzling. I had an issue with them one time, and I never went back. They look like scammers. Overpay and keep some of the money. Please look into this!

Meineke Care Center on Rahway Avenue in Elizabeth, NJ-- The "Oil level low" light came on my drive to NJ from Upstate NY. I got to my hotel and explored options for an oil change. I settled on the Meineke Care Center based on the strong reviews and the many available options for scheduling an appointment online. (I needed to get a relative to a scheduled doctor's appointment in the early afternoon.) The online registration was simple and intuitive. I scheduled for 9:30 am and arrived @ 9:20 am. The proprietor found my online appointment and was ready to service my car. Asked about oil quality I use and within a few minutes we were done. My car went in about 15 minutes later. The proprietor came in to tell me that I would need about 7 quarts of oil and what that would cost. I appreciated their checking in with me before doing the work. I was fine with the price quote (which was a bit lower than I usually pay for an oil change). I was done and on the road by 10:30 am. Overall, I was just very impressed with and pleasantly surprised by the service and quality interaction. Not a sparkling, shining facility AT ALL. But the proprietor and staff were lovely --professional and efficient. (There's one young man who seemed to be doing all the work. He was terrific.) There was an older gentleman customer ahead of me who was antsy about getting out in time for a doctor's appointment. The proprietor was calm, didn't take offense, and the car was ready in the next few minutes. The proprietor was also training another young man at the front desk. He was patient and kind doing so. A young lady came in with a check engine light issue. The proprietor listened to her explanation, asked her questions, and brought the car in for a look. They made a plan to get her on the road quickly and let her return later for more service. A long missive to say, that I will surely use them again if I ever have the need while in town again. A great experience.

Very satisfied with the work done on my car. Great customer service, manager Chris is very professional, always willing to explain anything you don’t understand. Work done: caliber converter, brakes, and gas pump. Will tell family and friends. Definitely recommend this location.

I did not have a good experience. I specifically asked to make sure they would check my fluids and tire pressure. Ten minutes after I left I needed to inflate my tires as they clearly did not check them. Two hours later my engine was starting to run hot and I found I was low on coolant!! They didn’t bother to check that either. Did not tip off wiper fluid. Don’t go there

Walked in and was serviced quickly. Got an oil change but they said they did a “35 point inspection” on my receipt but they clearly didn’t. I was already aware that I needed new tires and that was not mentioned, I needed new brakes and rotors and that also was not mentioned. A few days after my visit my battery light came on so I returned to ask if I needed a new battery and they told me yes. Being that I just seen them a week ago I was annoyed. If they had inspected my car when I got the oil change they would have noticed this. Instead the guy at the desk said batteries can go out in a few days which is NOT true. If they had checked the first time I could have made only one trip. So I asked for a Mercedes battery in which they got from Mercedes and I also asked how much do they charge per hour for labor. The guy told me $130, so I asked what if it takes less time and he stated they would go according to how much time they spend and if it ends up being less time it will basically be prorated to how much time was spent. They guy originally told me that changing my battery would be 30 minutes But of course they took longer. Changing a battery doesn’t take an hour so I knew they were trying to take advance of the hour. I asked the guy what’s taking so long he stated they wanted to take their time so they won’t mess anything up as if they were doing brain surgery. Overall I got what I needed to be done but if you pay for your car to be serviced they should do exactly that.

I was so impressed and relieved by the professionalism I experienced at this location! I went by myself and told my boyfriend how well I was treated, he was very pleased to hear that, as it’s not always the case. The work was done quickly and perfectly and the quote matched the total. I can recommend this location with 100% certainty that everyone will receive excellent service and attention.

Terrible service and overpriced. Let’s start saying how they have on their scheduled online that they open at 7:30 am, on the door 8:00 am, and the staff arrived at 8:35. I had an appointment for a simple oil change at 8 am. Because when you called they told you is with appt. The front desk guy didn’t even apologized and start taking other people with me waiting since 7:45 am And the peak. The price. 96 dollars. For an oil change. I truly do not recommend this place. Terrible experience.

I have been using Meineke for car repairs for over 25 years. While I used them in many locations and got great services, there is one particular location I tried to take my car every chance I get. They are located on Rahway Ave in Elizabeth NJ, near the Court House. The staff is always cordial. And if you're lucky enough to meet the owner or the son, what a couple of gentlemen. They always work with customers to find a way to get their cars fixed. I even got an expected follow up call after a service. I strongly recommend this place for car repairs.

After having a bad experience at the Roselle location, because I'm a loyal customer to Meineke, I reached out to the next closest location, which was Elisabeth. I really needed an oil change. Not only did they take walk ins, they were very accommodating and educating on the services of my vehicle. Ronald was professional and extremely nice. They price matched and upgraded me to full synthetic. Pavel was cool and worked on my car quickly. Thank you to Meineke in Elizabeth on Rahway Ave. They care about their customers and love their jobs.

Last year, I had a car accident the auto body shop replaced wrong alternator; it caused AC compressor clutch bearing make loud noise and broken the drive belt. I didn't know about it until Open Road Honda dealer at Edison checked my car. They wanted $2800 (rip off lol). I'm a poor medical student lol. I bought genuine Honda CR-V parts Made in Japan from junkyards ac compressor $75, alternator $50. I cleaned and sprayed paint with Dupli-color engine enamel silver and black. Look brand new again. I called different local auto repair shops, they wanted $450, $390, $490 to install them. I called Meineke Shop at Elizabeth, NJ. $300. Ronald is the best and honest mechanic I've known. Highly Recommended!!! SAVE ME A LOT OF MONEY!!!

Reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly service. Ronald and Pavel know their stuff. Came in to fix an exhaust leak, and they had my problem resolved relatively quickly at an affordable price. I would trust them with any concerns you may have with your vehicle. If they cannot offer a solution to your problem, I'm sure they can point you in the right direction. Highly recommend.

Robert was great with listening to my brother as he explained to him how to customize custom dual pipes with a performance Karnage exhaust big body 2. I have a 2011 Nissan Armada Platinum. Happy I didn't have to lose my spare tire. Will be taking it back in a few days to have my Spectre Performance Air Intake Kit installed to replace the car-manufactured one. They also installed the flowmaster performance exhaust system on my brother's Porsche 2 years ago. I'm a happy customer. The mechanic was great as well with the job. The sound is amazing the video doesn't do it justice.
