This place simply did replacement of parts but they are not repairing/fixing the car. The same issue reoccurs after a week and then repeatedly later, and you have to turn to another auto repair shop to really fix it. They also messed up the connection to the battery during the repair. It is wasting a lot of time revisiting this place and without fixing the issue. It should be ok if you know exactly which part to replace and they can do the job, but do not expect diagnosis or problem-solving/repair. Totally disappointing and I will suggest everyone consider twice before visiting this Midas. I had experience with Midas at other cities, which are much better than this one.

I have been going to Midas for yrs to maintain my car every 5000 miles.April 2022 I had an oil change and I told them to inspect my car very well because I was driving to FL. I was told that my car was in great shape! June2022 oil change was done at David care care.Inspection revealed my back brakes were completely gone and only front brakes were stopping car! Midas lied to me and put me and my family safety in danger! The back brakes were bad in April; thus they did not inspect car well! If I could give them no stars I would!! I will never take my car back to Midas!!

This is my second visit to Midas. The front counter Staff was prompt and provided immediate service. I brought my vehicle to Midas to identify a noise I was hearing on the driver side, near the wheel. After the tech removed the front wheels, they determined that my struts were the problem and needed to be changed. The brake pad/s were never identified as the problem. Well, I decided to get a second option. It was determined that the noise was actually contributed to the front brake pad slipping. There was not even a word mentioned concerning damaged/bad struts. My vehicle was repaired and a multiple inspection check done. I am thankful to have gotten the seconded option. I am still waiting on an explanation for the egregious misdiagnoses. As a female, I would have paid to get this fixed because I depend on my transportation for work. I looked to Midas technicians as experts in their profession. Yet, I had to have another company identity the issue was really with the brake pad. I have lost confidence, now!

I only wish I could give it a negative star! I brought my car in to change a muffler. The mechanic showed me some things that sounded sound, some oil leaks, some pipes that should be changed and I went with it for $930. That should have been it, but when I left my car ran rougher. It started shaking as if a spark plug were misfiring, even though those were just changed. I brought it back, thinking the cap they replaced just wasn't tightened properly. Happens. I leave again and my car shakes harder and starts overheating. I bring it back a second time, and they treat me like I'm wrong. The mechanic is especially rude, fast talking to gloss over things. I was in the shopthem looking at my car like a couple of monkeys that don't know what they are looking for. Except that is insulting to the monkeys. Monkeys are smarter. I took my car and left since the mechanic obviously didn't care what happened and the guy behind the counter was useless. As I drove to my usual place to see what damage they did, bonus, the check engine light came on. My car was FINE except for a noisy muffler before they touched it! It's awaiting service tomorrow before I found out what they did. Stay away, and if desperate, only get the muffler. Go to a REAL mechanic for other work. It's a muffler shop only.

This is a place that only asks you to replace parts. Very bad experience for a repair by this Midas. They replaced the radiator and thermostat but did fix issues of coolant leaking. It wasted lots of time to visit this place once and once again, but the problem could not be solved. The mechanic staff members stand there and chat with each other for long instead of trying to find the issue. They only suggest to replace another item after that. Finally I have to turn to another auto shop with more experienced and capable staff member to fix the issue. Do not go to this Midas. They will only ask you to replace items. There are many auto shops nearby, with more capable staff members.

I arrived at around 9am to get a diagnostic check because my car was idling rough. Come to find out it needed new spark plugs, coils, and also needed a few sensors changed. Again, I arrived at 9 a.m. and by 3:30 p.m. I was still sitting there. Most of the time the person working on my vehicle was always leaving to go get a part or a certain tool that he did not have and then the total came to 900 bucks so it was a bad experience for me, but it seems to be like that everywhere you go so at least they started on my vehicle immediately and then when he completed it I got in my vehicle started the car and the engine light came back on he had to check it again then come to find out it needed another sensor changed and the outcome at the end so far it's driving good and no problems yet but that's just driving from the shop to the house. So we'll see how everything works out.

I went in to get my flat tire fixed. The customer service was fine, the price was good, & the time taken was around what they said it would be. However, NO ONE WAS WEARING A MASK! I didn't notice at first since I was super tired & the folks at the counter left the lobby right after getting my info & keys, but seeing the guy that I assume is the boss come out of his office made me realize what was happening. Come on, y'all: this pandemic has been going on for a year now & people are dying everyday. I don't think I'll be returning even after the pandemic.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Should be negative stars!!! 1st I got misquoted by $400. Next, After quadruple checking both with autozone and the manufacture/dealership about it being the right or wrong part. I personally had to go in to the shop area and help install the part. Zero (0%) discount for my help. The woman in the back was completely incompetent. The guy at the counter had no idea and was more concerned about his lunch! They were short staffed probably because of management. The guy inside did not come out to Hill the one mechanic that needed it. Too much to say on here. Over all a horrible experience and do not recommend this location to anyone.

Lawson and his team are amazing! I walked in after a terrible experience at a competitor. I needed a tune up and Lawson immediately listed all the issues I was experiencing with my vehicle before I could tell him. He knows his stuff. Melvin did the tune up and noticed the car was still not sounding right. He and Lawson kept looking the car over and found that there was no oil in the car and that there hadn't been any oil for quite a while. What could have been a terrible experience was very pleasant and handled with professionalism. And the price was more than fair! They have a customer for life!

I have brought my vehicle here several times. I had 4 new tires put on, windshield wipers changed and a few tires plugged from a nail in a tire. They have always been very friendly and honest. Great customer service. I will continue to bring my vehicle here in the future.

This is easily the worst tire shop in Baton Rouge. There's just no way I went here for a new tire and had to speak to 3 different people to find out that the warranty didnt cover the damage done on the tire, when it could have been said over the phone. A general guideline of what wasn't covered under the warranty could have been given. I had to call another Midas shop to get information, because what this one was telling me was not adding up. I passed the phone to the manager to speak to the other shop and he began yelling at the woman on the phone and cursing her out. After he cursed her out, he threw my phone on the counter so aggressively. The staff is so lazy and makes no effort to try and find a solution or help with anything. Overall, this place is very unprofessional and not worth the stress of visiting when you need something done. 0/10

I went there recently this February to fix my a/c and get a simple oil change. I was skeptical about allowing any mechanic to work on it but being that it was getting hotter, I had few choices. Being that it says a/c repair in their main services, I thought they knew what would be wrong and how to properly fix the issue in a professional manner. That was not the case at all. I was given a call saying that a part needed to be replaced and that’s why I wasn’t receiving any cool air through my vents. I agreed to let them handle the issue and when I went and picked my car up, there was cool air. Let me say, the cool air only lasted for a month. After this, I was confused as to why my car would do this again if I just took it somewhere for the a/c to get fixed. I, again, called and brought it in to the same people that worked on it see what the problem was again. The so-called manager was quick to ask me if I had put coolant in the car. Mind, after I picked my car up, I assumed the problem was fixed and never did anything to my vehicle afterwards so to be accused caught me by surprise. They again did something to it and it was blowing cool air again- for just another month after that. With my oil change, I noticed on my dashboard a couple weeks back it read I was due for an oil change soon. So, now, I am in a position where I was most likely jacked out of my money and none of the services that I requested was even provided for me. I tried calling the shop to get a refund because I was very dissatisfied with the services that they’d given me and only sought out to get my money rather than do their actual jobs. Hopefully, I can take more legal action when it comes to this. Just wanted everyone to what they do here to young, naive women and protect yourselves if you are thinking about using Midas.

I have been going to Midas about a year plus now and Isaiah and Chris and another recently hired technician whose name I have no idea what it is have taken great care of me and my car, helping me learn my vehicle and making sure I’m taken care of by the time my vehicle leaves. There have been some issues with other technicians but most likely a communication issue amongst the team. They are the only place I trust with my car, especially with being a young woman not feeling like I’m being scammed into getting more than what I needed.

On my way to work Friday I drove over a nail and needed to get it fixed! I stopped in at Midas in hopes of a quick patch. Unfortunately the nail was on the side of my tire and the attendant informed me I would need new tire. The staff was so courteous and pleasant I didn’t even mind the wait. I was told it may be a while because they were busy but they got me in and out pretty quickly considering the amount of cars they had! Thank you for the wonderful service! I’ll definitely be back for future work. Also shout out to the store manager Jason. He was so friendly and he is clearly running a great store
