I went in for an oil change right before closing time and when I left, my truck started shaking and my engine light came on! It was snowing and I was scared to death. I couldn’t only drive about 10pm h due to the shaking. The gut told me it was “probably” my transmission! My engine light has never been on before and there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my truck prior to this oil change!!!

Horrible expieriance First of all the complimentary vacuume that jiffy lube does makes all the difference. Not only was Midas expensive I had them do a pressure check and oil change both I paid for. The diagnostic came back with over 1k in needed repairs. I opted to shop around and took my car home 4 blocks away, popped the hood and my coolant was almost empty!! So not only did they diagnose and realize there was an issue and ignored it. They were too tight or inconsiderate to put some coolant in. Better yet there was some on the floor of the front seat. I didnt expect they would be that careless. And Matt may be very nice however he is too busy on the phone making customers in front of him wait and listen to other people's problems. If the demeanor would of been different I would of considered paying the price! I could not run out if there fast enough

Eddie and his Tech Jason are friggin awesome! I didn’t go without a vehicle the whole time. Guys were straight up and forward about things I knew were on the verge of going.. The guys are even working after hours to get the rest of my stuff done. My ride is almost complete, one more small task and we’re good 10/10 recommend! Courteous and respectful, and if you’re not a dick, might snag a deal on parts! I’ll be coming back here, for sure!

Last weekend our car died on the turnpike due to a battery issue. We were driving from Illinois to Virginia. This was one of the few places around that were open on a Saturday and I was happy that they were able to get me in same day. They were able to correctly identify the issue (battery cable) and get me back on the road. After the repair, I noticed some things working, like lock/unlock lights, that had not worked in years. I believe the tech actually found an issue that has nagged this car for a long time and has been missed by others since our car has had some flaky electrical issue over the years. Was very happy to be able to get back on the road and at a reasonable cost.

I brought my car in for a check engine light and they told me I need new spark plugs, flush, and coils. I asked if both repairs were absolutely necessary and they fear mongered me by saying my car could stop on the highway if I didn’t. Something in me told me to go check with a local mechanic and I did. The price my local mechanic quoted me was HALF what Midas stated. And also turns out I didn’t need the coils and they were just upselling. This lack of integrity in business practices is why I’m giving a 1 star review. Over charging and selling customers unnecessary things is messed up. I would recommend anyone to go to a local shop instead of this chain. Also, they pay for 5 star reviews. I was offered $30 off at check out to give them a 5 star review on google. So I wouldn’t trust the reviews here. Overall unethical business practices that will over charge you. Go to a local shop with integrity instead.
