They told me one price on the phone and after I had my vehicles towed to them, they went up 1,000. They even charged for the diagnostic test that auto part stores do for free. My son was away at school and they say that the plate was from out of state. They told me something didn’t sound right with the transmission. I said I just had it replaced. They said O it must be something else.

First called and talked to Russ and got an estimate for a heater core for my pickup. After getting the money together about a week later I called back and set appt. Hands down the best auto repair place to go in the F/M area. I have had a few things repaired on my car here. They do a great job everytime, and very honest. I was given a ride home while my car was being inspected and Mike even gave me a ride back to pick up my car when it was done. So If you want it done right go to Mike's Auto repair in Moorhead

We take all of our vehicles to Mike's. We can get them in quick and get results either right away or whithin a reasonable amout of time. They are great about giving prices before the go ahead and dont usually have "added" things to be fixed unless i request a complete inspection. I dont often trust most mechanic places but have always liked going to Mike's. Cant see going anywhere else.

Our youngest son goes to college in the area & we live in another state. He has his own vehicle & of course breakdowns are bound to happen, especially since we are so far away. The first time it did, we didn't know who to go to or trust. It's frustrating & a little scary too. I'm not sure how we found Mike's Auto Service, but we are so glad we did! Mike has been easy to work with & very dependable when our son's vehicle needed servicing! We greatly appreciate him & his crew!!!

Mike and the team have done many repairs and maintenance on my vehicle. I’ve been able to get in the same day or within a couple days which has been fantastic with my tight schedule. They’ve even made accommodations to give me a ride when needed. I couldn’t say enough great things about these guys! I’ve finally found a place I’m comfortable. I appreciate their honesty. I noticed my van shake when driving over 70mph, took it to another car place in town and they told me the issue was shocks and struts, about $2100 total. When I mentioned it might be a balance and rotate issue, they said "we don't feel that's the issue and don't recommend wasting your money to do that". Something didn't seem right with what they said as the van is pretty new, took it to Mike's for a second opinion and he said "sounds like a rotate and balance issue", which was my initial thought. After dropping it off, they checked everything out, confirmed that the balance was way off, fixed the issue and the van runs smooth once again. Thanks Mike's for being honest and not trying to take advantage of potential customers. Mike's Auto has a new repeat customer in me moving forward!
