Took two SUV's 2015 & 2016 in a few months apart to get the thermostats fixed. There was a $105 discrepancy between quotes for the work. I have to say I'm disappointed in the way he does business.

I took my car in the other night. It was after 6and they were closed. They have a drop slot for you to drop off after hours. By luck I managed to meet Mike who was working late and instead of letting me go through the process of night drop, he open the office took down my information and asked me what was wrong with the car. Without an appointment he said that he would take a look at the car and find out what was wrong. I am a do-it-yourselfer and I prefer to work on my own stuff but sometimes I don't have the time. Mike was very professional and very nice and when I explained to him what I thought was going on he did not speak down to me or treat me like an idiot. He called me to let me know my car was ready less than two days later and so far I have been very happy with the work he did. I will be recommending him to my friends family and even my business and If Ever I need any future work I will be taking my vehicle to Mike Toms.

I didn't feel like doing a review, but I was referred to Mike Tom's Auto Repair by an elderly friend. I had been having trouble with my car running roughly, hard starts, and misfires for over a year. The car was going but performance was low. I try to stay up on my maintenance to prevent total breakdown. I took my car to 3 different mechanic shops for a diagnostic. Each one got it wrong and still charged me. I ended up wasting a lot of money until I got to Mike's. It's almost impossible to find a good mechanic in Flint anymore. My car sat for a month because I was "gun-shy". Mike knows his stuff!! He took it for a test run and figured out the problem!! If it wasn't for Covid-19 and his wife, I would've hugged that man!! He got me going, he seems to enjoy the challenge, he has a lot of experience, and skill. He's gifted at his craft. A car whisperer. I'm more grateful than I can say to have my wheels back. Thank you Mike.

Had a loud noise under my driver's side front tire. Stopped in to see if it was safe to keep driving. Mike took it out for a test drive right away. He came back, headed into the shop and came out with a wrench. I thought he was going to check behind the tire to see what was going on. He informed me that my tire was so loose it was ready to fall off. Come to find out someone had tried to steal my tires and 3 of the 4 were very loose. I can't tell you how thankful I am to this man. I could have been stranded or hurt if the tire fell off. Once tightened the noise is gone. I gave him $30 for his time. He said $20 was good. Thank you for helping me. I can't thank you enough. You will have my business.

I can't say enough good things about Mike Toms Auto Repair. He got me right in and my car was fixed the same day. He even hung around after hours because I couldn't get there before closing. A lot more reasonably priced then my other mechanic. I will definitely be going back for any further repairs as needed.

Dropped it off after 1pm. They replaced 3 wheel bearings by 11am next day. The price was good. The shop is friendly and is just trying to fix your car and get you back on the road. Will definitely use again. The “lobby” isn’t a waiting area it’s more of a drop off and come back kind of place. Update I have had a couple more chances to use Mike Tom’s. A brake line broke and a bad temperature sensor. Again Mike Tom’s got it down quick and well. They could’ve charged me more for a thermostat ($150 part) plus installation. Instead they replaced a $20 part.
