I took my car to this shop because of grinding noise in rear wheel. The guy at shop told me that it's the breaks, I explained him brakes are new and it's something else and I am willing to fix this issue if you need to replace any parts just call me. When I came back to pick my car the problem was still there and what these guys have done is just grinded my new brake pads and that didn't solved the issue so he charged me $75 and told me to take the car to dealership. I am disappointed that they were not willing to troubleshoot and just want easy money like rip off.

Earl, if I remember correctly, was my mechanic's name and he was friendly and overall great guy who provided a speedy oil change. Oil change here is around $30-35 for 5qt of non synthetic and around $60 for synthetic. I brought my own synthetic oil and filter and Earl charged me $20. Quick 10 minute oil change for a good price and great service, can't ask more than that. Be warned this place may appear close for short periods of time, so call ahead and make an appointment.

I did and it was the best experience, he gave me a fair quote and had my car fixed in 2 and a half hours . Friendly service. Great prices. I've had some general maintenance done here in the past with excellent results. The other day my work truck had to be towed from Orinda for a small mechanical problem. It was already after closing time. But, Eric actually stuck around until I got there (after dark). He then went the extra mile and actually purchased the part that same night. My truck was repaired and ready for pick-up by 9:15 a.m. the next morning. Unbelievable! This is one of those rare businesses that really cares about giving their customers the best treatment possible. Hard to find these days!

Great customer service. Earl and Co. never fail to amaze me with the level of care and dedication they give to each customer. They worked diligently to solve issues related to my IMA system in my Honda Civic Hybrid awhile back. They also gave me a VERY reasonable price for the replacement of my spark plugs and ignition coils! Honda was trying to charge me near 2K! Earl and his team were so helpful and kind after I caught some thugs sawing off my Prius' catalytic converter. They fixed my car up way faster than expected (1 day!) and charged a very fair rate. I was kept up to date via texting + photos of their work. Earl even offered to pick me up so I wouldn't have to walk over in the rain. Took my car here after I got a very high cost estimate from another place. Earl identified the same problems, except the most expensive ones the other place wanted to fix. After asking him about those potential issues, he checked again and said those issues were not important. (I never told him I was at another place before.) He ended up fixing the car for 50% less than what the other place wanted, and the car drives well again. Will come back.
