I retrieved a 1972 BMW 3.0 Cs from long term storage. Moran Motorsports changed all the fluids (Oil, Transmission, Differential, Brake, Steering) converted the air conditioning, did a general tune, replaced the tie rods, and adjusted valve clearance. Their work was clearly of high caliber and I am extremely pleased with the service.

So about 3 weeks ago or so I took my car here and they were supposed to be fixing a problem I had with my BMW alternator. Very nice people so I thought ! I get my Car back and 2 days LATER GUESS WHAT!!!! My car is broke down with an alternator. I have Someone else look at my car and YOU GUESSED IT HE SAID IT DOESNT EVEN LOOK AS IF ANYONE CHANGED THE ALTERNATOR SO GUESS WHAT! I’m trying to get my car fixed again with no money! You know why because I fixed my car with them and you guessed it again it cost an arm and leg !!!

Avoid this shop. They will smile while they insist you need work you don’t and then create other problems you need to fix. After spending $1500 my car runs worse than it did when I brought it in and has a ton of issues that weren’t there before they worked on it. I’m really disappointed and feel taken advantage of. After talking to other people in the area about my experience it turns out that I am not alone.

These guys are the best! And so kind. I needed to urgently address what I thought was an oil leak and I called 5 other places, all of which told me they were booked for 2-3 weeks out. Seth was also booked but told me to bring it in and they would try to squeeze it in. He couldn't make any promises, but I appreciated his willingness to take a look. I ended up dropping off my car, getting the leak repaired (along with a few other small things they noticed) and getting it back all within 24 hours of calling him! I couldn't recommend them more highly, especially Seth.

Avoid! I've spent the better part of 10k here, and regret it. Total incompetence, and negligence. I took my car in for for service. Everything the touched they screwed up and made even worse. The struts were installed improperly, I got down the road and the bolts werent tightened down. The car shaking and rattling like crazy. Turned out they didnt tighten the sway bars down. They said the brakes were fine.. well they werent. In fact, I had no brakes at all. Metal on metal, and worn through the rotor. When they gave me the car back(after nearly a week), it was covered in oil all over the front of the engine. I ended up driving 800 miles, and had to pay another mechanic to fix their mistakes. They couldn't even get a simple oil change right. The list of stuff the screwed up just keeps getting longer. Today I smelled burning oil, after inspecting it they over torqued the filter and destroyed the o-ring which was dripping oil everywhere. Who does that?? Not professional level work. Even a shade tree mech knows not to do that. I'm really hoping I don't find more they screwed up. They sent me down the road in a dangerous car because of their negligence. You've been warned.
