Reviewing based on a HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL encounter that my sister just experienced. (I am not speaking under her direction.) At NO point should Calvin (the mechanic) have INITIATED assault against a pregnant customer by throwing her into the hood of her car! When my sister went retrieve her car (for services already paid), she found car parts sprawled about based on her refusal for additional overpriced services of $400 for an oil and light bulb change, and $120 for a diagnostic performed months earlier when the vehicle was first acquired. Calvin refused to reassemble the parts (again, my sister had already rendered payment for the original requested service), and even began further disassembling car parts despite her asking that Calvin refrain from touching her vehicle until police arrive. TACTLESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL! If you want a side of aggression with your services, Calvin is your guy!

We went to Calvin for a diagnostic engine light issue. He told us it was the starter and we paid for that then we still could not get the car to start. He went and got his machine to hook up to the car again and then said it was the 2 fuel pumps that cost us 634 and he said to bring the part Tuesday and he could knock it out. I got there at 9am and nobody was there so I came back around 11 and he said he might be able to get to our vehicle. Another went by and it still was not the problem and the care would not start. He quoted 570 for labor when we decided to to move forward with his service. At the time of payment the price increases to 690. We paid but he did not offer us any sort of discount after he mis diagnosed the issue and we spent a large amount of money trusting his experience and knowledge. We then had to go to precision auto down the street and was able to get better service at a cheaper price. We feel taken advantage of and the service piece was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!! We will never go to him EVER again. He has poor communication and not professional at ALL!!!!!!

He does all my major work and I have never had a problem with any of his work over the years. I recently got my wheel bearings, spark plugs, brakes, and calipers done. I had a major problem with my car. My fuel injectors needed to be replaced. Couldn't even drive it. I called in, told them my issues, they were wonderful, even helped me find a tow truck driver. All in all it took just a couple of days to get the car up and running and the price was amazing, about a 3rd of what a dealership would have wanted. She drives better than she has ever driven! I wouldn't hesitate to go back again. Great job done all around.

I own a small direct sales company and we stopped in the Atlanta area for 4 weeks on business. We have a small fleet of vehicles to keep maintained and our experience has taught us to avoid franchise or chain auto repair shops. Calvin fixed my first car issue in Dec 2018. He was responsive, quick and actually FIXED my issue! He fixed my brakes and rotors this weekend in a day and my car always runs great after his repairs. He's even worked on my father's car here visiting! It's such a relief to find a mechanic I can count on and I've found that in Calvin. Im from Texas don’t know anyone out here, I needed my car fixed in an emergency! Calvin came right on and fixed my car at my house, within an hour !! Stay away unless you enjoy being treated like dirt! I called Mr. Auto Fix It Mobile Repair to finish up a DIY repair job that turned into a nightmare. He seemed professional and it seemed like he fixed my car right on the first try until a week later when I looked under my car and saw that the leak was still there and he didn't do a good job of cleaning up the scraped off gasket maker that holds the transmission pan onto the transmission. His failure to clean up properly could have resulted in me needing a new transmission if one of the scraped off pieces got sucked into my transmission! When I called Calvin to get things fixed, he agreed to fix my problem but this is where things started to go south causing him to lose my business permanently. Here's what happened: 1. Rain caused me to reschedule my appointment for another day but Calvin never contacted me to confirm what time he would stop by my house to fix things. I had to call him. 2. Even though he was supposed to come to my house, on the day of the appointment he told me that I had to bring my car to his shop to get it fixed and that I had to be there within 3 hours notice or keep waiting for him to get it fixed. 3. When I got lost and politely called for directions a 2nd time, Calvin yelled at me, was rude, and treated me like an idiot for not being able to find his shop. No customer should be treated that way! After I hung up (and blocked him from contacting me), I immediately took my car to nearby Autoville (a great Honda/Acura/Japanese specialist shop). The knowledgeable man who inspected my car could not believe that my transmission pan gasket was replaced a week ago. He had to ask me twice just to make sure. In his words, "they did NOT do a good job of cleaning the pan." My advice to others; don't waste your time. He got the job done quick and at a very, very cheap price but he didn't do it right despite it being one of the simplest jobs a mechanic can do and his customer service skills stink.

I’m from North Alabama and was on my way to Myrtle Beach, SC. My CV axle on my passenger side went out on the side of I-20. 4 hours into my trip and had about 5 1/2 to go, I needed to get back on the road that day. I got a tow to Mr. Auto-Fix-It. Very respectable and respectful folks there, they were very professional but also personable. They saved my trip and got me back on the road in no time, highly recommend these guys!!

Towed my mercedes to this shop for a overheating issue. He checked and told.me.it was a busted water hose. We went and bought new hose and coolant. He discovered it wasnt the hose but a radiator issue and needs to be replaced. I found a new one online that was shipped to is shop. Days went bye , he didnt pick up or return my call. When he did , he said the radiator was bad , was.leaking coolant and will need a replacement. This mechanic charged me $720 for labor to replace a radiator . The issue was not fixed . I had to tow the vehicle from is shop. He also was confrontational, unprofessional , unethical in is approach. At a time, he was in my face claiming the tow truck doesnt have to be in is.premises because the car can be driven out of is yard. This is a vehicle with a busted radiator, no empathy , cruel individual , unpolished. He kept spitting on me while he yeld ontop of is voice despite been paid for a service that was not rendered efficiently. I realized he didnt have any intention of swapping a new radiator with the defective one. He didnt put it out for shipment even though he claimed it needed to be replaced. Over all , he is a cheat , and I hope nobody else falls a victim to is establishment. I regretted ever .taking my car there. The worse mechanic shop I have ever patronize in 25 yrs ..car owners Beware********** Truthful experience. He should be call Mr charge but no fix.
