Just doing BMW tech guesswork. Don’t take your European car there. Gave them all the time they needed. They don’t have a clue. Waste of time and unfairly overcharged for what they did do. Car floor mats pedals and all touch points covered in dirty grease when returned. Filthy shop.

Went in July 2017 for a headlight connection and bulb repair. After about 6 to 7 months the same bulb went out. Went back to Mr. D’s and he told me that it was my problem and that he could not help me and I should bring it elsewhere to get fixed. He said, he would charge me the same amount, which is over $120 just to get it fixed again without a discount. Absolutely horrible customer service from the actual boss and I will NEVER go here again. I do not recommend this place!

#Mr. D's Automotive... FANTASTIC place for #BMW repair! Stopped by one day because of a #Service engine soon light, and the Service Manager resolved my matter within a few minutes and I was on my way. And he did it for free!! Wished me a Merry Christmas!! I returned a couple of weeks later because #BMW Long Beach quoted me a ridiculously high price for a specific repair on my #2006 BMW #X5. Mr. D's did the repair for HALF the price and then provided me with the opportunity to observe the mechanic. Steve, the mechanic was well informed of how my vehicle is designed and operates. Extremely smart man. Also most people are not aware that #Aftermarket parts are often made by the manufacturer and sold under a different brand name. I know this to be true and factual. I don't know about BMW specifically but true with many #Japanese vehicles. Needless to say I am now a customer for life!

I would give -* if I had the option. I strongly Don't recommend going to this place for repairs. Especially SMOG check. They trap you in, just to get the money. I took my car in for a smog check. He said the car is not ready for smog because the system doesn't register it. So it wasn't ready. They still locked me in with the charge and paperwork. They said come back for a recheck. 4 days later, I blew my engine. So I went back to tell them, my car won't get smogged anymore. It needs a new engine. I said.. since the car wasn't smogged properly, I'd like my money back. He said No...it failed. I said How? You said it wasn't ready for smog. They are money hungry snakes. He could have just put his scanner, and told me it's not ready... drive it more miles and come back. That is what an honest shop would do. THEY LOST MY BUSINESS FOR LIFE 🤨

My experience of service and repair is excellent. Manger is always honest, and explains the details of what's wrong and what needs to be repaired or changed and offers a fair price. I have brought several of my cars here and they were fixed with no errors. The mechanics are reliable, knowledgeable and honest with clean work. I have been quoted by other dealerships and mechanics and the prices were higher and not the exact problem what they mentioned, those other mechanics try to sell you something you don't need. Overall good service from a rebuilt transmission to a tune up.
