After paying for my transmisson to be replaced by Mr. Transmisson, my car was making a loud noise. Mr. Gray, the owner, called me psychotic after I complained about the noise. After taking my car to the dealership, it was discovered that the transmission vent hose was not bolted down or installed. This was causing the hose to interfere with the fan causing noise. The intermediate shaft boot was separated and not installed causing additional unusually noise. The transmission was actively leaking fluid. The power steering line was about 12 inches from where it was supposed to be and at risk of being penetrated. After the dealership called Mr. Gray and informed him that the transmission wasn't installed correctly and verifing that the noise was caused by a hose being in the fan along with other things, only then did Mr. Gray agree to fix my car. Two weeks later, the engine splash cover came from underneath my car while driving down the interstate. Mr. Transmisson used zip ties on the front and didn't even bother attaching the back of the splash guard causing it to hang and drag.

THE ADDRESS IS "INCORRECT" Choose a Mr Transmission that is CORPORATE ran and NOT FRANCHISED. I was told by this North Huntsville, AL location that they were Corporate owned but after investigating I was able to CONFIRM "They Are Not!" That location's Supervisor and mechanics are full of blatant unnecessary Lies, Lack of Professionalism and SLOW to complete a repair. I WOULD TELL ANYBODY TO **STAY THE HELL AWAY**

They got paid to put NEW transmission in, they only rebuilt it, had to take it back, looks like they were using my battery to jumpstart other vehicles, rags left in my vehicle, takes forever to get your vehicle back, just all around negative experience

Every employee is rude, and needs to take a class detailing what customer service is. I do not recommend this business to anyone . If you do decide to do business here please check your vehicle, and do a test run before paying. These people are NOT professionals.

Our Jeep was towed here and after 768 dollars later it ran hot 2 miles from Mr Transmission. A Simple cold shoulder, a shrug and to add to the growing headache this place causes, it was making a noise ans running hot. It's loke I said towed there, and after returning due to running hot immeadiately and still Makin the noise, a no good dumb worker bee has the guall to say "it wqs making that noise before it got here" yes sparky that's why you were supposed to fix it. Owner didn't care and was asked to leave the property keep in mind we remained cool headed anx we both know how to act in public. So don't take your car there he is a con artist and a liar. I was having to walk to my Dr appointments I was Prego at the time due to his ignorance and disposable attitude of failure at life

The only thing wrong with my truck was the transmission, then got the truck back and the whole front end is leaking so bad. Can't drive it due to it over heating. We call the owner and he denied the fact that they had anything to do with it. He wouldn't tow my truck back to the shop to look at it. At this point I'm moving on and finding someone else to help me. Never will do business with them again.

i took my 2007 suburban up to mr. transmission and when i got the truck back , the exhaust and catalytic converter were all lose , it didn’t have transmission fluid and it had burning smell along with it, i didn’t get back the gear shifter back which i bought and paid with my own money and they misplaced the peep hole cover that goes inside the head of the transmission

Poor customer service work ethic and integrity. Quote on Quote repaired my transmission vehicle broke down the next day. Vehicle towed back to shop to repair strong armed me for more money after paying 4000. Vehicle is currently parked in my yard called him he said I had electrical issues. I would never go back there mistreat ladies said my tire tore wire harness a loose.

Terrible. Do.not.go.here. Mr transmission will take your money and not fix your issue . When you call him to complain he will try and charge you to look at the problem he was suppose to already fix . 0/10 do not recommend . Keep your money and go somewhere else

My experience with this location was great! We were on our way to the beach for a family vacation and our 2016 Yukon XL began to have what we thought was transmission issues. After calling around several locals recommended Mr. Transmission. We made arrangements to drop it off on a Saturday (a day they are closed). Someone was there to receive our car and get our info. We ended up renting a call so they could look/work on it all week while we were at the beach. They kept us updated with the issues and ended up putting in a rebuilt transmission. The price was in range with other place (back home). They had the repairs done in a week and we picked it back up on a Saturday (again made special arrangements since they were closed). They were all so great, professional and did great work. We are on our way home and all is good!!!! God bless this business!!!

I brought them my car because my transmission was making a terrible noise, and my rpm needle was too high when driving at low speeds. So I ended up waiting a month for it to get fixed but that was only due to them having to search for the proper parts for my vehicle. My car parts were hard to find. However, when I got my car back from them my car was running and is still running very smooth! And that terrible noise is completely gone! They were polite and respectful! (And they have good reasonable prices!!! )

Terrible experience and even worse work. This place is full of excuses and lazy management/ employees. I spent $1600 and 2 weeks of my time dealing with this establishment for the actual problem to never be fixed. Save yourself the time and money and take it anywhere else.

I left my car there and it took them four months to fix it and when I got it back it still wasn't working I lost reverse in my transmission and he kept telling me he was fixing it the whole 4 months every day was a different story do not go there not good business you will lose out just being honest check the reviews 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

This place is a waste! They don't seem to know what they are doing and charge $70 for a 5 minute diagnostic test with a 'hand-held'. Thinking they would find the problem and get started replacing the TCC solenoid (about a 1.5 hour job), they tell me to come back another day. Do not recommend!

Car still not repaired after 3 almost 4 months with no update. Do not use this location. I agree Mr Gray is nice but when you need your car nice does not cut it. I won’t go further at this moment but I will say Owner do not try to deny the facts. that you and your company have terrible customer service, repair skills along with poor communication skills. Prove me wrong by repairing my car, then I will give 5 stars. What standards? Car still there not repaired no communication about time frame of repair. My advice spend more time repairing people cars and stop worrying about bad reviews. The absolute worst customer service. Parking lot full of cars not repaired. I advised Mr Gray I was more than willing to pay whatever to get repaired, instead I kept getting excuses. They left it in worser condition than when I took it. If you repair people's cars the work would speak for itself. Thanks!! Do not go here.

Stay away company very unprofessional!!! My niece dropped her car off July 28th for transmission repair alone with 500.00 upfront money, August 8th Owner called to explain her car was in a fire while on his property, he have yet to help with rental car expenses like he promised , she is out of 650.00 rental car fees, still no car. He have not offered a car , he stated someone sprayed too much chemicals trying to put fire out so company had to remove everything out of car to clean. Yet to this day no car, no rental car, no reimbursement. Nothing but excuses and no accountability, you do not have to reply it will not be sincere, you have mentally damaged my niece. It’s nothing you can say it’s all been a joke.
