π€ I know I've left a review here before, and was just going to update, but this place is THE BEST. They always, ALWAYS take care of me and try to help me out with options. I am grateful that I know they exist - they go the extra mile every single time! Could not recommend more highly. π―π―π―

After noticing that my driver side headlight was out, I decided to take it to Muffler Man to get it repaired I'd been there on 3 other occasions and the service was good and prices were within my budget. This time I thought the price of $320 was high, but even though don't drive much at night I knew it had to be taken care of. When I mentioned the repair to my son, he found the same exact bulb that was replaced priced from $49-$140. Why was I charged $286?? I called and was given several excuses, but this has left me having second thoughts about Muffler Man and whether they are my choice for auto repair.

Haven't been back there in a few years. They were extremely cordial when I contacted him ahead of time to see what they're waiting time was. The woman at the front desk was extremely polite. But she was also waiting on other mechanics to help her research stuff. They got me in fairly quick. They had a little French bulldog in there kind of running without a lot of supervision. The dog actually jumped up on the chair next to me and got right up on the armrest right up next to me. I'm not a dog person so I'm trying politely to shoot him away, but the staff didn't seem to really care or notice. My other concern was they said that they topped off all my fluids checked my air pressure some other things, I got into my car literally drove a quarter mile and my air pressure sensors went off that two of my tires were low so obviously the mechanic did not ever even check my tires. If you say you're going to check fluids and check tire pressure make sure you follow up and do it. They weren't that busy. I actually drove down the street to Belle tire and they topped off my tires. Actually when I pulled up three bays were empty. The only reason I came here is my mechanic was tied up in the hospital. Will I come back, probably, but only if my mechanics tied up.

They fixed my loud muffler for way less than I was expecting to have to pay. Got me in as a walk in just before 5pm and out the door before 6pm. Friendly cozy lobby with a sweet chubby bulldog. Looking forward to coming back.

As a first time customer I was totally surprised by the excellent customer service and genuine candid advice. They are empowered here to do the right thing by the customer and that is rare these days: I thought my alternator was bad and they confirmed it and fixed it same day! They gave me an estimate of the costs up front and they were accurate within a few dollars! It was a few dollars less actually! I mentioned I was looking to buy another car and they said they do free auto inspections so I brought a car the next day and they helped me uncover that my next car needed brakes and rotors! The seller said he had replaced them. Well this saved me hundreds of dollars! Yes I got the car and yes the seller paid to replace the brakes and rotors! Thank you Muffler Man staff! You are my new mechanics!

Exhaust hangers were broken and needed additional welding done. I had just left the midas on 28th street shop where I was told the whole exhaust had to be replaced. The staff at muffler man completed the needed repairs at a fraction of the price I was quoted at the midas shop. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a fair upfront price.

I have been going to this (Kentwood) Muffler Man since I first brought my 67 Camaro there in 1981. They are the easiest to work with and get it done at an affordable price...which is why I keep going back! Currently I have my Chevy SUV and also my daughters Lexus there, getting exhaust work, brakes, an alignment, and oil change. Thank you Randy!

If you don't go to Muffler Man to get your vehicle fixed, you're probably going to overpay and you're not going to get as good a service. Muffin Man provide you fair pricing and they stand behind their work.

I canβt recommend this shop enough! The team here is always so helpful and honest β something thatβs hard to find in a mechanic. They take the time to explain whatβs going on with my car without ever pushing unnecessary work, and I always leave feeling confident that Iβm being treated fairly. Itβs the only place I trust to take my car, and theyβve earned that trust over and over again.

I recently went to mufflerman on 28th to have an exhaust leak near my manifold checked out. After they inspected my truck they reported that I had exhaust manifold bolts broken off inside the head and it would cost upwards of $1500 dollars for extraction. I elected to take my vehicle elsewhere and it was determined that no exhaust manifold bolts were broken and it was simply a loose coolant temperature sensor. Once the sensor was tightened, my truck was leak free and back on the road in 10 minutes for $0 dollars. I was shocked to hear that there were no broken bolts as mufflerman had said and that they were just trying to take advantage of my situation to make a quick couple thousand. Be aware of their questionable diagnostics and make sure to get second opinions if something doesnβt seem right. Response: After reading your response I feel that I must clarify that my vehicle was on the lift and prepared for your mechanic to begin the process of extracting the bolts that were broken inside of my engines head. They asked me if they could proceed with the work at those prices and I told them I would take it elsewhere. If I had let you do the work, what would you have extracted? There were no broken bolts in the head and the only issue was a loose sensor.

I really like the folks here, they fixed my muffler the first time for $170 with a patch. It held up fine. But then the rest of pipe broke it another spot. I took it up there because it was dragging on the ground. Thank you looked at it and told me $175. When I could not afford it and was about to drive off the muffler was hanging on the ground. So I told him that I wanted him to fix it like it was when I got there. Meaning I didn't want to drive off with a muffler hanging on the ground. He got loud with me and I did not appreciate that. They do good business and they are good people. I'm just reporting the facts. I did get the muffler fixed for $80 and another city today.

0 stars! Spent $1200+ on my car to get EVERYTHING fixed & I picked it up with the car running worse than it was with nothing fixed. They also damaged my bumper and grill and wouldn't let me review camera footage to have proof and move forward with charges/insurance claim. Randy then refused to fix my car because I βassumedβ he damaged the vehicle when all I wanted was camera footage of whoever hitting my vehicle on their lot to turn into insurance. Very unprofessional and rude. I also had warranty to have it fixed again but he refused. Very unprofessional and childish of them as I was very respectful and just trying To get answers.

Christina and Randy. I donβt have enough good things to say about you guys. My check engine light came on yesterday morning, they confirmed catalytic converter issue. Quoted me the rebuild and time. I appreciate their up front approach on cost and time so I could plan. They got me in right away. Randy called shortly into the job and informed me it was just the sensor not the full thing. Super thankful for his honesty and integrity. He got the job done quickly and my car is working great. They also completed an oil change for me. I appreciate you guys!

Appreciate that they found a muffler solution for my 17 year old Saab 9-3 wagon when a direct fit muffler is no longer available. Got me back on the road within 90 minutes on a Saturday morning. Will return the next time I need exhaust work.

Good old-fashioned, honest car repair service! Quoted $1,700 to fix my muffler at a dealer, and was told theyβd also have to order parts. Muffler Man did it for $250 in 45 minutes, parts in stock. Car purrs now. Not the first time Iβve used them, and not the last. They are efficient, timely, and honest. Snoop, the resident Frenchie, was very friendly while I waited.
