As an out of state purchaser of a 2022 Piaggio Liberty Dan (Sales Mgr) took incredible care of me. He walked me through the entire process painlessly and professionally. [Edit: 8/22] 5/5 stars for the sales department stands. 0/5 stars for the service department: will not be returning I returned to New Haven Powersports for the first service on a new Kawasaki Z650 I purchased from this location. I was informed that the service would take 2–3 business days. Since the motorcycle is my only form of transportation, I asked whether it would be possible to schedule an appointment for same-day service. Instead of offering alternatives or solutions, the staff dismissed my request in a manner that came across as unhelpful and condescending. This left me with the impression of poor customer service and a lack of consideration for customer needs. After leaving, I contacted multiple motorcycle service shops within a 50-mile radius. All of the shops I reached that offered this service confirmed that same-day completion was standard, with next-day turnaround being the latest. I ultimately scheduled service at Libby’s MotoWorld, where the work was completed in about an hour and a half while I waited nearby. The scheduling process was straightforward, the work was thorough and professional, and the pricing was reasonable. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Original review: The staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The sales department was very responsive, polite, and helpful. The people who helped me with accessories were attentive and went above and beyond. I have bought new bikes at other dealerships before. I purchased a new Kawasaki z650 from this dealership and have never felt so properly taken care of. 10/10 will buy again.

Good selection of bikes. They have Ducati, Kawasaki, dirt bikes, Vespa and other mopeds. Ample choices. They don’t hover around you while you look around. They let you be and answers questions in detail and helps when needed. They have some merch and parts too. My godson just bought his motor bike here, and we are most likely next.

One star for the dogs. I went here 10 years ago and these smug staff actually talked ME OUT of riding motorcycles. My brother lent me one and I was looking for gear and equipment so I can ride for the first time. The guy goes, "wheres your boyfriend?shouldn't he do all this?" Which is the rudest thing someone has said to me as a customer. I don't need a man to get me what I need, especially since my brother gave me a list and pictures of the items I needed. He wasn't around because he was a truck driver and was home every 3 months. Needless to say I walked out with nothing and a bike I never rode. So beware if you're a young woman like I was at the time. Like the other reviewers have mentioned, the staff are indifferent, and have no interest in selling anything or engaging with customers. How this place is still in business through the years is beyond me.

I had the most wonderful experience today trying on jackets, helmets, and gloves with the help of some incredible sales staff. The women’s section was larger than expected and they have jackets that fit all different body types (even though some manufacturers dislike curvy women!). The environment was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I felt very comfortable looking for gear as a new rider.

Overall great experience. I took a 10 year break from riding and wanted to get back into it. I was focused on Ducati. New Haven powersports had a great selection of bikes and scooters. The website was accurately reflecting inventory with VIN numbers so it made getting the insurance company setup with the info for a quote a breeze. Dan from sales was a great pleasure to work with. Easy application for financing and quick turn around on approval. They also do all in house servicing and are Ducati certified. I was in and out the day of the purchase. 2 days later I was trailering the bike home. This is my go to shop and a fun ride through New haven. I've already been emailing about additional parts for the bike and emailed responses are fast. Great experience.

The purchase of my 2026 Ducati Panigale from New Haven Powersports was outstanding. Dan was exceptional from the original order back in April right up until the bike arrived in December he kept me informed throughout the process. Their lead Ducati technician was also outstanding from uncrating the bike and setting it up to my specifications right down to helping me load the crate and motorcycle in my van to take home.
