Not too happy with Obters. I've been doing business with Obters for a few years. They've all been small jobs, and I've always had a good experience with them. Early 2023, I needed an Engine replaced, and I was happy with the work. Recently, I went to Obters because there was a noise coming from the rear end of my truck. We went for a test drive and the tech said "it sounds like your rear end or hub assembly. They wanted to keep it for the day to properly diagnose it. I didnt hear from them at all for 24 hours, and no one would answer the shop phone. 5 mins before I arrived to pickup my vehicle, I received a quote for $3400 to replace the Rear Differential. I told them I'll think about i, I was charged 115 for a diagnostic. Thats fair. Well, I decided to get a 2nd opinion at a well known maintenance shop. They stated that my pinion bearing needed to be replaced. He mentioned when they went to open the housing for the bearing, that a bolt was seized to the housing, so they had to get a bolt puller. I asked them directly "Why would a previous mechanic tell me that my Wheel Differential needs to be replaced?" He said that no one ever opened my drive assembly. Whoever said that my RW Diff needed to be replaced was trying to screw me over and gives his industry a black eye. So, I paid $115 for a diagnostic for Obters to try to screw me. Stay away from this place, or get a 2nd opinion if you receive an estimate. Disappointed because Ive referred plenty of family/friends to this place. Ill let them know as well.

I took my Infiniti to Andrew and he did a great job fixing it. I was turned away by two other mechanics because they couldn’t fix the issue but he did! Very knowledgeable and helpful! He explained the problem in detail and even check up on the car a few days later to make sure everything was running well. I highly suggest his shop! They do everything there 💯

5 ⭐️ Plus 5 more⭐️ !! I’m am completely satisfied with these guys!! I dropped my car off on Friday afternoon and was having issues with my alternator. They took me to work which helped me more than they knew. I was going to Uber so I really appreciated this service! I spoke with them on Monday morning and was told the alternator was bad and also I world benefit from routine maintenance by replacing a few belts. My car is a older vehicle but I take really good care of it. I appreciated them doing this because it saved my money in the long run. They originally told me they wouldn’t get to it until Tuesday afternoon but to my surprise they called me early on Tuesday afternoon and said it was ready and it was $150 cheaper than my quote. That is always a nice surprise!! Overall they are friendly, fast & very good at what they do!! I’m happy to say I will be using Obters auto for app my car needs! 👍🏼👍🏼

This place is an absolute disgust! We took a vehicle in on March 13 to have warranty work done on the flywheel and as of today it is still in there we have to call for updates they do not communicate or even know when the work will be done. When we called for an update we were told they had to call in a different mechanic for some rusty bolts! I don't get that you have several mechanics why do you need a different one!
