They claim to do things that they know how to do but don’t, they replaced my brake pads but didn’t inspect other parts. Then a day later the car started shaking and they claimed they did the job right over the phone. But on a quick visual inspection when I drove over they said rotors also need to be redone. I’d explicitly asked them to check everything and recommend what needs to be changed. Would avoid them if you find a different mechanic in town

My friend’s car was taken there on Saturday because she had troubling getting it started. The next day after they “fixed” it, charged her 120 bucks, the car would start but the engine would just stay shut, not getting started even after multiple times. She tried to call the main guy in charge (Martin) multiple times, but he would not even listen to her concerns and said he’s busy. She had to call her insurance to get it towed because of strict Berkeley parking rules. Really terrible customer service and zero professionalism. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My friend had a flat tire. They had the car jacked up within minutes, found the nail, and had him on his way. Wow. I went to them a couple years ago for tire reasons of my own. Their prices were beyond competitive (excellent deal), and their service was courteous and quick. I'm reviewing them today in part to remind my own self about their shop - I've had good experiences elsewhere, but Orozco's is awesome.

Took my truck here for some front end work and alignment. Provided my own parts and got quoted 350 including alignment. Good price and they seemed nice . The driver side was done well. No issues . The passenger side they broke and pinched the upper bushings for the sway bar link (see photos. )They also pinched the lower ball joints bushing. Also, they didn’t mention that both my axle shaft seals were leaking and even though they replaced one of my axles on the passenger side , they didn’t inspect or mention that the shaft seal could be bad. When I showed up to pay he told me it was 100 more then originally quoted. One plus is that they identified the loud noise while coming to a stop of being a bad drive shaft bearing but they don’t sell this part by itself, so I needed a whole new drive shaft which I took care of myself. I won’t be going back here , they didn’t seem like they really wanted the business like the tire shop down the street and the work they did was questionable and sloppy , so I cannot recommend to anyone unfortunately . As a small Latino business owner I try to support other local Latino owned shops but not if they are doing shoddy work and trying to charge more than what they originally said! ✌🏼
