I cannot say it loud enough how much I appreciate the folks here at Payless Pitstop!! Even for the little things like my blinker bulb needed changed and being a single older woman I'm absolutely clueless how to fix it. I called them on my way to work, swung by and it was done in less than 2 minutes! If you need an awesome mechanic who is reasonable give them a holler. Inspections are the lowest I've found and very thorough.

I truly don’t understand how anyone can give this place less than a 5 star review. I read a couple of the low reviews and they’re absurd. (Read the true “non-idiot” reviews and you’ll get the gist of what I’m writing). These people are kind, genuine, knowledgeable, hardworking and above all - FAIR TO EVERYONE who walks through the door. Our whole family has brought vehicles here for many years! My Aunt went there recently and knows absolutely nothing about car repairs. They explained everything to her in detail and showed her the exact cost for parts and labor (no tricks or nonsense). Now she’s a customer for life. I tell everyone that’ll listen about Payless Pitstop. I’m sending a friend there today actually. Go here you won’t be disappointed. I would give a 100 stars if google allowed it.

I was very impressed with the service provided from Payless Pitstop. I had A/C issues and they were open about all my problems and costs associated. They even told me I could look elsewhere for the work to price shop around. I chose them and they did the work quickly and with high quality. When I went to pick up my car what i paid was exactly what they told me. No hidden costs or fees.service like that from auto mechanics is hard to find these days. I will definitely be returning to them if I have future issues with my vehicles.

They have always been honest, friendly, and reasonable. I had gotten an inspection a couple months ago and needed brake pads. They replaced them and recommended I come back in 3 weeks to insure that the calipers were working properly. (Another place would have probably tried to have me replace them). I made an appointment for oil change (and check calipers). I had to call them last minute because I had a conflict as I had another appointment scheduled. They told me to come in right away and they’d get me out in 25 minutes (plenty of time to make my appt) They actually changed my oil and checked calipers and were done in 15 minutes (calipers working just fine!). I highly recommend you his small business. I have sent family and friends there as well and they have been equally satisfied.

On a whim I stopped here several weeks ago because my tire pressure light was on. They were so friendly and checked all my tires and filled the one that was low. That one small act of kindness is why I used them for an oil change and tire rotation 2 weeks later. The waiting area is small, but as quick as that service was I wasn't there long! In my experience they hold to their appointment times or sometimes start early and their inspection/emission price is better than most everyone else. I no longer live close but I still make the drive, they are my go to mechanics!

If I could leave zero stars I would. I explained to the gentleman at the counter that I needed a bolt tightened on my battery because it wasn’t tight enough and my car had shut off on me while driving the day before due to this which I explained to him. He wanted me to schedule an appointment 8 days out for 30 seconds of work which could have potentially cost me my job and it’s a safety concern. I took it down to Monroe and he tightened it in about 30 seconds and he didn’t charge me so I tipped him 10 bucks. My whole family comes to this place and they won’t be anymore. The experience tells me they don’t give a hoot about their customers.

These guys were fantastic. My regular garage said I needed a new transmission to fix my check engine light from coming on. I had been going to them since I was 16. I'm now 76. I went to Pitstop from my nephew's suggestion, they found 7 wires cracked or separated. It took them about 10 minutes to repair them. Haven't had a problem since and only cost me $148. That's a whole lot cheaper than a new transmission. I now have a new garage. Thanks guys.

Payless Pit Stop was recommended by many people. And when I tell you I wish I would’ve known about them a very long time ago!! They are hands down awesome ppl! Bill is the BEST he got my car back in working order in less than two hours and their pricing is affordable and fair. Cory is very nice and professional too! They ALL make you feel like family and do whatever it takes to get you taken care of! I limped into their shop today in my 2019 RAM and discovered that my track bar had snapped in two, making my vehicle extremely unstable. They quickly had the part delivered and installed, all in under 45 minutes, and charged me a very fair price. Both the owner and his wife were wonderful people and showered my puppy, Henry, lots of love while we were there. They are excellent people, and I highly recommend them. THANK YOU!
