Been going here for over 10 years, never had anything less than A+ service and respect until now. New management in place for 2 weeks apparently. The balding guy with a goatee at the counter was super rude and embarrassed me in front of the other customers by accusing me of jumping the line when I was the 2nd of only 2 people who walked in right when they opened. It was probably 5 minutes of me waiting for him to help the first person before others started coming in the wait behind me, more than enough time for him to make note that I was next. That was sorted after another customer stood up for me and said that it was indeed my turn, this guy wanted to overcharge me for a winter tires changeover (from a set of wheels and tires to another complete set). This was always treated by them as a tire rotation (and I called the Nashua shop to confirm, they still do). He says it's a completely different service as he blatantly tried to rip me off. Needless to say, I'm never setting foot there ever again.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. We initially got a rejected inspection sticker for wearing on my license plate. Over the last 60 days we have repeatedly attempted to get it reinspected and each time told "we're not doing inspection stickers today". Today, day 60, we were told they are no longer doing them and haven't been '"for a while" despite the fact that we went last Thursday to attempt again to get it done. No refund offered and told "it's your fault you failed" and taking no ownership for their disorganization and poor run business.

I had a bad experience with pep boys with my first time ever going to this location and it’s staff. I recently did an online order for 4 tires with an alignment and paid online. Everything was fine until the check out process. The person up front tells me that the machine to do the alignment wasn’t working and was trying to take off the alignment from my invoice. He wasn’t able to give me any money back. He called IT because he didn’t know how to do it. They completed a new order and had me pay once more but only this time they removed the alignment. 3 weeks later i have yet to receive my refund. When i go into the store again the same person that i had dealt told me i had to go to corporate to get my refund and asked him to call with me because he knows the situation, he told me he couldn’t it. Mind you i already reached out to corporate and they told me there’s nothing they can do and that i had to speak with service manager which was not there that day. The customer service rep didn’t want to look into my issue and said just to keep waiting and very rude and condescending. So now i am getting the run around to get my money back which was a $1k service and paid almost double. The person at the counter also didn’t want to print my previous receipt the one they “voided” out and that he couldn’t do it. Never doing business with pep boys again.

He asks if you have coupons & also makes recommendations for other maintenance issues down the road. He is a valuable employee that the company should be grateful for. Very unorganized placed order for tiers and get my oil change on Thursday morning on line to be done on Friday morning I received a confirmation email for work to be done on Friday morning . I show up Friday morning and informed they only have two of the four tiers in stock and I would have to come back the next Monday fine I set up a new appointment time for 10:30 Monday . Monday come I show up a little early and told my appointment is at 2:00 by the same employee I made the appointment with then he tells me there are two customer there waiting on work to be done long story short I waited 3 hours for tiers and they never did the oil change. This was the first and only time I've ever been to Pep boys I will never go back to them and will not recommend them to anyone.

Had an appointment at 11am on a Sunday to replace my tires and windshield wipers, was told by the desk that it would take 2-3 hours max and I would receive a phone call and automated text when the service was finished. Around 3pm I still hadn’t received any notification, so I called Pepboys 2x, was put on hold both times for over 15 minutes and never got to speak with anyone. I decided to show up to the shop since my calls were not being picked up and I was only being put on hold. I showed up at 3:45pm and my car STILL hadn’t even been taken into the bay yet. My car was parked in the same exact spot I left it in. I didn’t receive any apology or accountability, just a “we are very busy, I will take it in now and have it done within an hour” after I had already been waiting for 4hrs and 45minutes at this point. Very unprofessional, inconvenient and inconsiderate. The least they could have done was called me to give me a heads up, but even doing that was too much. Spent over $800 and will not be returning.

They had me pick up my car without fixing my tire. I made arrangements to leave work an hour early to make an appointment with them for 6 o'clock and they sent an email canceling the appointment at 5:45. The lady at the desk was nice, but I saw a real lack of integrity.

I do not recommend doing business with this company, especially when it comes to refund requests. The store employees demonstrated a lack of professionalism and accountability. When I asked for an explanation, I was repeatedly told to contact corporate. I have contacted customer service seven times by phone and email. Each time, a case was created and I was told that field leadership would review the issue and contact me. Despite waiting nearly two months, I have received no response or resolution. This experience reflects poor work processes, lack of responsibility, and ineffective communication. At this point, I am concerned that I may never receive my refund of $1,143.21. The overall experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing

Had a screw in my tire and brought to be patched. Due to the location of screw they told me I would need a new tire but unfortunately they didnt have the size I needed. Shawn went online and found it for me in Salem NH and said I could buy there and bring to them to install which ended up saving me some money. Called on a Sunday morning and was told to bring car in in afternoon so they could install the new tires. Was in and out within an hour. He was super helpful.

Absolute scammers here. This is my THIRD time at this location getting terrible service. First time they told me my grinding was due to needing 4 new tires.... Had a busted axle which was still grinding the MOMENT I pulled out the space picking up my vehicle. Pulled right back in.... (Lucky me they repair the axle "for free" since they made a mistake... A mistake they should've caught the moment they drove it out the bay to park it for pickup) Second time, needed a new clutch, had the car towed there only to be told they don't do clutches.... But I know 3 other people that have had their clutch done there? Had to have it towed to another garage. Next visit (third and final) - asked again out of curiousity - was told yes, they absolutely do clutches and he had no idea what I was talking about.... I still have the voicemail claiming otherwise... Third and latest time, have no heat, I know I needed a new thermostat sensor, put that in the appointment description. Tech takes 48 hours to "diagnose" and call me and tell me I need that but heat is "in and out" (which it's not - it's lukewarm room temp air from the engine when moving) and it would be almost $800 to replace the sensor!!!!! Even the dealer is only about $500 with new OEM parts and it's a foreign VW. I know enough about cars to even attempt the repair myself but don't have a heated garage and didn't want to be outside under the jacked car for 3 hours in the cold. I tell the tech this. Tech tells me "Well the sensor is under the 'water well', you know, pretty much internal in these cars, not easy to get to, are you sure?"... WHAT?! You don't even have to "speak car" to call bullshit on that (not to mention YouTube is flooded with tutorials and the sensor housing is FAR from "internal"). This place either is looking for suckers or the most incompetent garage I've ever dealt with. 48 hours (and was quoted a possibly 4 day wait EXCLUDING the holiday for a 3-4 hour repair max) to tell me the same thing I already told them I needed AND their "diagnostics" was incorrect with the 'in and out' anyway - for them to STILL try and charge me the $110 diagnosis fee. They clearly did absolutely nothing, and have no actual idea what their doing. I recommend you stay far far away.

Not great service at all. Had my car towed here on a Thursday afternoon. They didn’t even start to try to look at it until Monday. They accidentally took my number down wrong, easy mistake sure but it caused me to wait a week waiting for a call back. Picked up my car and a week later my engine started overheating. Looked under the hood and they didn’t cap my coolant reservoir, allowing it to leak out entirely.
