After a bit of a stressful day, was bringing my mom home from the hospital and got a flat tire on the freeway, it was not repairable. Went to Pep Boys and even though it was late in the day, almost closing time, they were very professional, courteous, and were able to replace my tire so I could get back on the road. Highly recommend!

The only reason i go here is for the lifetime alignment I have and now even that reason is pointless. Quoted me thousands of dollars in repairs after i dropped my car off and they didn't complete the alignment because of the shape my car was supposedly in. Before I burned all that cash, i took it to my own local mechanic who couldn't find any reason to replace said components. Nothing looked out of the ordinary and nothing needed to be replaced. I'm now thousands richer because I wasn't scammed by a place who couldn't even write the mileage down for my car correctly. They don't offer lifetime alignment plans any longer and I come in every year for a checkup, did this contribute to them finding so many issues? Don't waste your time here and find a local mechanic who will be honest and not try and rip you off.

Very unorganized. I had an appointment at 8 am to mount my tires that I bought on tire rack. I dropped off my vehicle at 8 am and was told that it would be done around 10:30 am or 11:00 am. I came in at 11:30 am and my car has not been touched yet. The person behind the counter could not find my paperwork and had to mount my tires himself as no one was working on my tires. Again, it was very unorganized. I guess that having a messy shop does translate to a messy service. I’m going to try Firestone behind them next time.

I have been to this Pep Boys location a number of times and have always received good service. Jennifer at the front desk is very knowledgeable and helpful. Guillermo has also helped me in the past and has provided excellent customer service. This time it was a complete different experience. The mechanic assigned to work on my car was Christian O. (Chris). He was just on his phone texting instead of actually doing his job. It took over 40mins after I arrived for my appointment for Chris to get started on my car. He had no sense of urgency whatsoever to get to work, clearly his cellphone was his priority. This review is to point out Chris for his laziness and unprofessionalism. It’s unfortunate he leaves such a bad impression when I know everyone else does a good job. After I drove away I noticed there was a vape left in my car! I didn’t know mechanics were allowed to smoke on the job and in customers cars?!

I decided to give this shop a second chance after my previous issue. I’ve been going to this location for the past 10 years, and the last two visits have been horrible. I dropped my car off on Wednesday morning and was told it would be ready Wednesday night. I did not receive any communication on Wednesday that the car would not be ready. Unfortunately, this was the same issue that I had on my previous visit. I received a call on Thursday informing me what the issue was. I approved the repairs and asked them not to contact me, as I would be sleeping due to working overnight the previous night. I gave them my Wife’s contact info. They called me roughly four hours late, disregarding my request to contact my Wife. Fast forward to Friday morning when I pick up the vehicle. Once I got in the car I immediately noticed that the alignment issue was not repaired. When I took it back, Guillermo immediately took for a test drive and acknowledged that the alignment was pretty bad. When I asked him why was I contacted if the car wasn’t ready? Why wasn’t it test driven to ensure the repair was completed correctly? He told me that his tech did a test drive. This obviously was not the case. He then changed his story and told me that it was raining badly the day before, so it wasn’t test driven. I needed up having to get an Uber to get home, as the car wouldn’t be ready immediately. I will never take any of my cars back to Pep Boys after this visit. The service levels at this location are not what they were years ago. They have lost a 10+ year customer.

I came here to get new tires and the staff were very friendly. Robert and guillermo were very accomodating to even helping me get the tires from another location rather than just sending me there since i did my order online. Though i understand they were short staff, they still got done earlier than i was expecting. Over all great experience and definitely recomend this branch.

I’m writing to express my deep frustration and concern regarding a service I received at this Pep Boys location about a year ago. At that time, I paid over $1400+ to have both my front and rear rotors, along with the brake pads, replaced. From the beginning, I found the pricing to be excessive—especially compared to what dealerships charge for the same service. However, I moved forward with the repair, assuming I was in good hands. Fast forward to today: I took my vehicle to a certified Honda dealership for routine maintenance, and I was shocked when they informed me that my front rotors are worn and need to be replaced. When I told them I had already replaced them at Pep Boys, they inspected further and said it appeared the original factory rotors were still on the vehicle. In other words, they may never have been replaced at all. I knew something was up because my breaks had been squeaking since I left the Pep Boys Shop. I was told this would stop eventually as it’s probably just breaking in the new pads. That was probably a lie. If this is true, I was charged over $1400+ and waited more than six hours for a service that was never actually performed. That’s completely unacceptable and feels like a clear case of being taken advantage of. Check in with your local dealership before going to any Pep Boys!

Don’t come to this shop. I made an appointment with them for an oil change and a four-wheel alignment at 2:30 PM. I arrived on time, but they told me they couldn’t do the four-wheel alignment today at all, and that I would have to wait until 6:30 PM just for the oil change. So what is the appointment even for? It had no real purpose. I ended up making the trip for nothing and wasted my time.

Made an appointment and drove 30 minutes in the rain due to a possible slow leak in my tire. I get there and one of the employees immediately starts huffing and puffing cause I’m walking up, I let him know I made an appointment and he asked me 3 times how I was able to. I showed him I made it online and he proceeds to continue huffing and puffing and saying he can’t help me and the only thing he could do is make an appointment at another store but they’ll probably say the same thing. (I guess a customers safety isn’t high priority on their list). I had made the same appointment at the Rialto store an hour before but they called me immediately after I made the appointment out of courtesy and respect to tell me they were too busy and they couldn’t help me so no one wasted their time and was put in danger. I wouldn’t have been as upset if the dude acted professionally but instead he kept clicking his tongue and throwing a fit

I recently had new tires installed here, and unfortunately I’m very disappointed with the result. After the installation, my chrome rims were left with visible scratches and tool marks around the edges. In addition, there was mounting paste left all over the tire and rim that was not cleaned before delivery. I understand that mounting lubricant is part of the process, but leaving the vehicle in that condition is not professional. The scratches on the rims are especially concerning, as they were not there before the service. I expected more care and attention to detail when installing new tires. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their handling procedures to prevent damage to customers’ vehicles.
