Good, humble guys I have been going to for the last 11 years. Their prices are fair. They never "upsell" me extra services I didn't need especially if it's a car-fix I can do myself. And I have never had a faulty/botch repair from them.

I was driving a minivan with two toddlers. I started to hear a scratching sound by front bumper. I started to look for nearest auto repair shop and ended up at this auto repair shop. As soon as i parked the car, a gentleman approached and asked me if he could help, i told him the issue and without hesitation, he got underneath the front bumper and started to work on it. He told me the guard was torn and needed to be taken off due to safety issue. Not only he took ot off, he spent time to tell me what needed to be done in nice and polite way. When asked him how much i owe him, he said "dont worry". Not only he didnt charge me, he did not force me come back to his shop to repair. OMG. I have never experienced such a great enounter with auto mechanic. I prokised him i have two cars and will be back for the service. I know he will be my favorite mechanic from now on. His name is Jesus Martindelcampo that i found out from his business card. Jesus, You ar the Best and i will be your customer forever !!!!!. Thank you.

I pulled in to the first smog check place on this street and tried to go into the door, which was locked. I made my way to the garage to a guy that was on the phone. I waited for 10 minutes for him to get off the phone and he told me they were open and it would be 20 min and then he walked off. I saw the Performance Auto Repair in the distance so I went down there and talk to Jesus. He was super friendly and personable. He had my car in and out in less than 10 minutes. When you are on the same street as 4 other smog places, it really does pay off to actually care about getting business and your customers. Thank you Jesus!

I spent so long trying to get my car to pass smog, when I should have just brought it here first. Jesus quickly identified which repairs I needed and did the drive cycle for me, so when I got it back it immediately passed smog and felt like a brand new car! I'll definitely come straight back here if I have any problems with passing smog in the future.

My vehicle broke down 10 years ago and needed a ton of work which Toyota CV quoted me a ridiculous price on! A friend told me to call Performance Auto and they did the job for HALF of the price! I've been using them ever since for all of my oil changes, smog inspections and mechanic work. It is extremely difficult to find an honest mechanic and I have to say I have NEVER had any issues with these guys (Jesus & Angel)! If they notice that something needs to be done that I'm not aware of they will tell me but NEVER pressure me about it. If you're looking for a trustworthy, on the level, fast and amazing mechanic your search has ended here at Performance Auto Repair & Smog!

I don't usually write reviews, but Angel warrants one. I brought a recently bought van in on short notice with plans of using it to take a bike to a track day that weekend. He replaced all four wheel bearings, brakes, both idler arms, and did an alignment in a day. On top of that, he did it for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to Performance Auto in the future, they are awesome.

Jesus and his team here at Performance auto repair and smog are complete professionals. As a person who opts to fix all of their own vehicles 99% of the time I can 100% recommend this shop for the tasks you just cant do yourself, ive had multiple vehicles smogged and one major repair, and even when things went south with the major electrical repair, Jesus tried his best day in and day out to solve the problem. Keep up the great work!

This is the only repair shop that was willing to work on my older 1995 Nissan truck. I was having trouble getting it to pass a smog inspection at the state referee near the college and all the other repair shops that are Smog repair shops keep giving me the run-around that my truck was too old or they would make me wait for an appointment and then just tell me at the appointment that my truck was too old or they can't do anything about it etc. Jesus is the only mechanic that was willing to take a look at the truck and he found that my oxygen sensor was taking too long to make a connection or it would lose the connection altogether a simple under $100.00 part was able to fix it and I was able to pass my inspection. For anything SMOG TEST or in particular for repairs I advise you make an appointment with this shop and the wait is worth the while because they are honest and very skilled technicians. Anything smog related make an appointment with this shop as they are not only able to diagnose but actually fix the repair needed to pass smog. If you keep going to the smog test only places they just Babble on and throw Parts at your car this is an actual repair shop and smog test center.

You know it's difficult to find someone you trust and even harder a mechanic. Your life and if you have kids, in my case, are in there hands. I found Angel and Jesus the owners of the shop, no employees, the most professional workers. They will take there time to describe the issue and listen to your questions and concerns. I just sat here for 2 hours and watched them turn away 2 because their car didn't need what they came in for. If that not honesty I don't know what is, the best I tell you, the best.

Jesus was amazing! I brought my car in for a third-party pre-purchase inspection on a preowned F150 hybrid, and he did an amazingly thorough job at a reasonable price.
