I had a very positive experience here. Everyone I interacted with was kind and friendly. The service advisor, Allie, explained the issues very well and even showed me my very dirty air filter. It has been many years since someone at a repair shop has shown me a bad or worn part. The cost was reasonable. Overall, the oil change went very well! Thank you! I’ll be back.

I would like to say a big thank you to Allie who helped us with our tires when it was frozen and windy last Wednesday (Dec 21). She was able to accomodate us even without an appointment. We went to 3 gas stations with little luck and help to get some air for our car tires but Allie was willing to help us even double checked our tires and didn't even ask us to pay. We are not a regular customer but the customer service experience we had was excellent. I highly recommend Pete's Auto Repair! Again, thank you so much Allie and Pete's Auto Repair! All the best!

I cannot say enough great things about this business. Took my Buick Enclave in for work on the AC. The staff is amazing! So friendly and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable waiting area. My vehicle was fixed right and at a very fair price. I trust Pete and his team. He earned my business for life. Thank you!! ❤️

Came in for a diagnosis on a sound coming from my car at idle. When it came time to pay, exactly a hour later, they said the sound I was hearing was completely normal. So if the issue I came in with was not an issue at all why was I still there? They milked the time so they could get their hourly rate. Left with the issue still at hand & out $170 but hey, they at least told me my headlights worked. Went elsewhere & they diagnosed the sound pretty quickly. Might need a new master tech, ma’am.

Had my car towed here after it broke down on the freeway. Was given a diagnosis of bad alternator, bad battery, water pump leaking coolant, and severely overdue oil change. I ended up taking my car to the dealership instead for warranty purposes. All that it needed was an alternator. I change my own oil, so I was certain it was fine, but nevertheless, when I got my vehicle back, I checked the oil just to be sure, as well as the coolant. The oil was within normal limits for how many miles I had driven since the last change (around 2,400), and the coolant reservoir was full. Like, not even a little low. Completely full. Logically, one would think that if my car is leaking coolant, the reservoir would certainly not be full. And the battery is perfectly fine as well. I am perfectly accustomed to mechanics suggesting unnecessary repairs, especially to women who will likely be none the wiser, but unfortunately for them, I am wiser, and I’m not above calling them out for engaging in this practice. Do better, Pete’s Auto Repair. Do better.

Brenna and the team they have took care of my truck. Coolant and oil change, plus the multipoint check, a few odd ends fixed as well. Got back on the road to continue my 2k mile trip. The prices are justified in the work and customer service given. Well done.!

Pete's Auto Repair is AMAZING! I used to take my cars there years ago and they were great then. But, after I moved to Bellingham for a few years they sort of dropped off my radar. I took my car in for routine service this week & it was a great experience. The staff are friendly, the service is responsive and fast, the work is professional, and they stand behind everything they do. After my recent visit I will only go to Pete's Auto Repair-no matter how far I have to drive.

The staff is super helpful and friendly going out of their way to make sure I am happy with the work that was done. They also work with me to budget my needed repairs by helping prioritize what is most essential to have completed first.

I took my car in for an oil change and inspection them that I would really appreciate if they had looked at my brakes because I was having some breaking issues. They told me I was totally fine so I took it and I was still having the same issues. I took it in a week later just for them to tell me that I needed an entirely new front brakes. When I found a better price I paid for the brake inspection which somehow ended up being $200. Not sure why the mechanic gets paid $160 for 30 minutes worth of work for an inspection but OK. I then took it to complete auto repair who I cannot endorse enough to where they found that not only were my brakes bad but my front CV axle was almost nonexistent. Not sure how that slipped by on not only the brake inspection but also the initial inspection. Which by the way when they said everything is OK was actually putting me in danger. I will briefly mention. The only thing I appreciated was the front desk Customer service was very pleasant. Pete’s quoted me at $1300 for just the front brakes versus complete auto who charged me 1300 for the fronts the rears and the CV axle. Long story short I cannot endorse complete auto enough and stay away from Petes.

Took my car in for repair and told me it was going to cost 1200 dollars. Also while charging me 212 to diagnose what was wrong with it. I already told them the issue and they still charged me. They even misdiagnosed the issue!! I got a second opinion elsewhere and got the actual problem fixed for half the price. Very displeased with the fact I almost got charged 1200 for something that wasn't even the issue. Would not recommend
