I’ve used Pleasant Details for a few of my vehicles now and the service is always impeccable. It’s easy to say that everything is great when things go perfectly but a real tell is when things don’t. A few years ago there were issues with a tint job they did for me and it took a few times to get right. Not only did they get it right but they made every effort to make the corrections as easy as possible for me, even picking up and delivering my vehicle back to me and doing a detail on it while they had it. This is the place for tint in Charleston for sure.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Pleasant Details.I bought a nearly brand new ford focus and unfortunately the person that owned the car before me smoked in it, and although the dealership said they did the ozone treatment as well as a detail the smell clearly showed me nothing was done. With nothing else to do I researched detailers in the area and ran across them. Mike was so incredibly nice, heard me out about my situation and how desperate I was to find a solution. He was willing to work with me, do the ozone treatment and even keep it for days to do the best job they could do!!! No matter how many times it took to steam clean the carpets, etc...he was willing to do whatever it took to help me out. They have been incredibly professional, helpful and caring about the entire situation. When picking up my car days later I was in disbelief at how unbelievably wonderful my car looked and smelt! It was like it wasn't even the same car, I was in shock!! Mike explained to me exactly what he did each day as well as his recommendations on keeping the car this way. It was a great price for what all was done on my car and i am so relieved about the situation. Not to mention days later after my car sat in this wonderful summer heat, it still smells beyond amazing! I definitely recommend Pleasant Details, for any type of service you may need.

I wasn’t expecting a miracle. I was getting my car ready for sale and they made it look nicer. The negatives were about communication. Different employees gave me different pricing. When I called back to schedule, they asked me what my quoted price was. Kinda weird. And different employees told me different services would be included with the detail. I appreciate the hard work, but some kind of setting and maintaining expectations would go a long, long way.

Just bought a new car and wanted it to be perfect for a good start. I talked with Pleasant Details about what I needed done and they quoted me a price which turned out to be a great value considering the top notch work they did and the attention to detail they showed on my vehicle. Brendon and Blake went above and beyond insuring that all of my issues were addressed and left me with a car that, as Brendon said, would look and did look better than the day I took it from the dealer. These guys do amazing work. From just a standard detail to actual paint issue resolution these guys can be trusted! Thanks again guys for showing me first class customer service, outstanding professionalism, and the best car detail I have ever had done.

Mike and his team are always phenomenal. They did Mom's Lexus, Dad's truck, and two new vehicles for us in the last 2 years. Full paint protection on all of them, ceramic coatings, and Tint. ***Go here first! You don’t need to try anywhere else*** Pleasant Details and Tint did an amazing job on my 2020 Honda Pilot Elite! I had full front end 3M paint protection film and full body ceramic coating. It looks immaculate! They were great from the moment I started communicating with them. Another local business had messed up a job on my brand new car. Pleasant Details came to my rescue with great customer service, amazing work, and friendly employees! I highly, highly recommend Pleasant Details and Tint!

We were interested in getting our vehicle tinted with the latest ceramic films (Xpel XR+) that block out infrared heat and Pleasant Details was definitely the place to go! Very happy with the work they did and they completed a pristine job with the panoramic sunroof, sides, and rear. The panoramic especially, due to the heat in the south. Thanks to Michael & team for taking the time and being very prompt to answer any questions and concerns that we had, while also following up when the job was completed. It is very much appreciated for the attention to detail! Everything was completed within a day, and will be coming back for other services and recommend to others, thanks again!

Had my car detailed here a few months back and the guys did a great job. Which led me to calling this morning to get a quote on tint for my new car. Spoke with Brandon and he gave me various options with pricing and benefits of each. Was able to schedule a same day appointment; in person, we were able to set up an option that met what was I looking for within my budget. I will definitely continue to return to this location. I love the work that was done on my car. The clear bra was put on partial hood and fenders. Ceramic Coating was done and my car looks like it came out of the showroom. Then I had to finish it off with the Ceramic Window Tint. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it........

My engine room looked like a warzone after traveling from Yokohama, Japan to Los Angeles by ship, then from Los Angeles to South Carolina by open truck. Not sure if you can visualize how bad it was without seeing the before pictures which unfortunately I don't have. What I do have is the after pictures that Pleasant Details were very Detailed which hopefully you can capture from the pictures. I definitely plan to have them do some other detail work in the future including my rims, body, and tint.

Best tint and detailing in Charleston! Mike worked my car in on short notice and did a fantastic job with a paint correction, Opticoat Pro, and window tint. Moved down to SC from New Jersey , was in need of some tints to help keep my vehicle cool from Charleston heat. So Happy I chose pleasant detail & Tint. The guys at Pleasant Details did a fantastic job cleaning my car up! I called on a Saturday and was able to bring my car in first thing the next Monday and it was ready by late afternoon. Six months without a garage or wash left a nice coat of crust and matte finish on the paint as well as tree sap little black dots. First picture is showing the little back dots that would not come off, and second pic is how gross the trunk crust was. You would never guess that all that grossness was caked in the trunk or that it wasn't a fresh paint job when I got the car back. Inside of the car was also immaculate (though it was def not as gross as the exterior).

Had the windows retinted at Pleasant Details and Tint on my 2004 Ford F-150 Lightning. The old tint was starting to lose its ability to keep the hot Charleston sun from baking the interior. After talking with Matt we decided to go with the ceramic based tint to help with keeping the cab cooler in the summer months, which to be honest here is like 8 months out of the year. Matt did an excellent job removing the old tint and adhesive as well as applying the new tint. I was pleased that he went beyond and made sure to wipe the interior door panels down after he was done. I've had experiences with other shops that just leave the water residue on the panels. I highly recommend if you are looking to get window tinting done to contact Matt at Pleasant Details and Tint.

Thanks to Mike and Team for another excellent job well done! First time getting PPF on the front of a vehicle and am extremely happy with the result. Besides the standard windows, tinting the pano sunroof along with the windshield with ceramic Xpel XR+ was well worth it, especially with the southern sun. Any questions or concerns are always promptly answered, and the attention to detail is always appreciated. Absolutely could not find any water marks on the interior or post-clean up needed for me to detail afterwards. Thanks again and you guys are absolutely the best here in Charleston!

I contacted PD&T when I knew the delivery date of my vehicle. The owner responded and after a few exchanges I was scheduled to have my car wrapped and tinted. The install process was completed within a week. When I picked up the car and inspected I was overly impressed. They said it would take another 3-5 days to complete curing. The owner (Mike) asked me to come back after a few weeks so they could inspect and make necessary minor adjustments. Price wise they were better than other shops I had contacted, though the other shops were in different towns. If you are looking for a wrap and attention to detail Pleasant Details and Tint is the place.
