Every interaction I had with James was extremely unprofessional. I submitted an online service request early Saturday morning. I called Monday morning to get an estimate as to when he could come out to take a look at the car. He promised to call me back in 15-20 minutes. I called back 4 hours later, but he did not answer until sending me a text the following morning (9 am) saying he would come by. I expected it to mean momentarily, and it was not until I called back at 3:30 pm that he said he would be there at 4 pm. He then called me at 5:30 pm, saying he hadn't left his office yet due to being too busy and promising to come by the next day, first thing in the morning at 9 am. He was then 30 minutes late for the morning appointment, where all he did was look at the car again, even though I had provided multiple pictures and said it would take at least another 2-3 days to fix for just a single part replacement. The lack of communication was completely unprofessional. I should not need to send a message multiple times to get a response, and I should not expect to be stood up at appointments.

James helped me out on an expensive mistake on my part. After my engine locked up, I needed a brand new one that Pep boys quoted $11K for. I don’t have that money and reached out to James to talk alternatives and options. He amazingly was able to put in a new engine for a bit over $3k with an affordable payment plan that lasted close to 4 months. Highly recommend considering he is very helpfully, realistic, and there for his customers first. He is now my main mechanic and has helped me with other jobs with no problems after

I contacted Proficient Auto Mobile Mechanics to have my car brakes inspected. Travis came out on a Sunday, chaged my brake pads, rotors & did a fluid flush @ my apt complex. He was very professional and was done quickly. I recommend this company to do work at your home, & alot less expensive than a regular auto shop!

I was having problems with my car not starting, and Trae came out to do a diagnostic test on my car to help me figure out the issue. He was very thorough and took his time. Very friendly guy and super dependable. We came to the conclusion that it was my starter. As soon as I got my part, he came back and installed it for me in a timely and professional manner. I would definitely come to him again if I have any more issues with my car.

This is the second time I have used Proficient Auto Mobile Mechanics, and I just love that they come to you! James is always quick with is communications, and the tech, Brandon was extremely knowledgeable about my car. Several sensitive sensors were replace in addition to replacing the radiator, and he did a very professional job. I would highly recommend giving them a chance for your auto repair needs. Pricing is very competitive and a full quote is provided before work starts.

Usually, I don’t leave reviews but I was extremely impressed with the service and care that I was provided with, I spoke with James over the phone and he gave me an estimate pretty quick regarding what was wrong with my car and I let him know that I needed this problem fixed as soon as possible and he was able to get a technician out to me within 2 hrs of our call. Mike, who is an excellent mechanic, came out and fixed the rotors and brake pads on my car in a timely and efficient way. I am very happy with the service I was provided with and will definitely be contacting them again regarding any future car problems!

This team was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish! I had some bad wheel bearings and Miguel came out bright and early to run some tests and knocked it out for me in an hour and a half. This was one of the best experiences I had with a mechanic and made me feel at ease the whole way. My car sounds amazing, and I can’t wait to use them more in the future! I will definitely be using Proficent Auto for any future repairs I may need. I filled out the online form told them I needed my valve cover gasket and rear rotors and pads fixed and that I have my own parts. I get a call 5 minutes later he gave me a very reasonable price he then told me they had a cancelation and they showed up in 30 minutes and fixed my car in a timely manner. I had called Proficient Auto because I had took my Yukon to the shop and wanted to receive a better price for it to be fixed. My truck needed spark plugs and wires, gaskets and a fuel pump. The price given to me was completely unbeatable and Brandon, the mechanic sent out, was absolutely wonderful. He was informative and fixed my truck perfectly. Even with the couple of mix up with the parts providers messing up he still went out of his way to get the parts and provide the best service. I will definitely be using them again for services with any of my vehicles.

I started having random episodes of my car shutting off. I got a diagnostic from a previous mechanic that told me I needed a new alternator but gave me a quote almost double what I was going to end up paying with Proficient auto mobile mechanics. I scheduled alternator service, Miguel came out the next day but my car decided to work perfectly fine. He checked my alternator and battery which ended up not being the issue. My battery was 6yrs old so I asked him to just switch it out. He did that & My car was running fine. I drove a few miles made it back home. Maybe a half hour later tried to restart my car and it wouldn’t start. Miguel came right back out, took the time to figure out the issue. Turned out to be a fuse intermittently going out (if I’m saying that right). He went out picked up the part came back and fixed my car within the hour. I really appreciated him going the extra step testing my alternator instead of just installing a new one and figuring out the real issue. I haven’t had an issue since, he also fixed my bumper that was slightly hanging off for free.
