These guys are awesome. I took my car in because it would shake every time I pressed the brake. Lamar inspected it and told me my rotors were bad and my shocks were leaking. After getting a quote from Toyota for $2600, I was going to expect something close. My entire care was fixed for under $1000 bucks! That included an Oil Change, Rotors, shocks and an alignment. My car will be going to them from now on.

Proline auto care is where I take all my vehicles and my family vehicles. Superb quality, and excellent customer service. Lamar, the owner, is splendid. I took my car in for routine maintenance, Lamar gave me a quote that was exactly 353 dollars cheaper than the dealership. He also accommodates to your time, usually finishing your vehicle in minimal amounts of time. I would recommend Lamar and the Proline auto group to everyone and anyone.

By far the best mechanics in town! I went to the dealership earlier this morning and they tried to charge me $270 for a repair on my car and would take about 2 hours. Luckily, a friend referred me to Proline Auto Care and they were happily ready to take me in!! The repair only took about 15 minutes and he only charged me $40. What a steal!! He said "honesty is the best policy. You can't rip customers off." Needless to say, I will be coming back here for all future needs!!

Went in to get lowering springs installed on my car and I spoke to Lamar. He pointed out from the start that my bushings were cracked. After he removed the wheels, he called me and informed me that if he would open it up, the bushings would break, forcing me to get the all of the control arm replaced. He was very honest with me and I ended up getting all the parts replaced as well. He gave me an amazing prices and did an amazing job! overall a happy customer, 100% would recommend to all my friends and family. Will be going back for all my automotive needs :)

While traveling from AZ to San Diego for a family vacation, the hood of my Ford Expedition started smoking. We pulled into the nearest gas station to evaluate and coolant would just pass right through to the ground, my car literally coasted into Proline Auto Care. While our google search said they were open, they were closed and by the grace of God, Lamar was there with his brother. Our family vacation was in chaos, but my Expedition ended up being in the best of hands. It ended up needing 'major surgery', but I was sent photos and communication was easy. My children had a great vacation while I worked on getting everything fixed. Proline replaced the turbo and made sure it was safe to drive and even helped with securing my Expedition's shipment back to Arizona. These guys are simply the best and I can't thank them enough for making my realized worst fear in driving long distances situation the best possible.

Visiting San Diego from out of state. My van started making noises and having steering issues when we arrived. A friend referred me to Lamar at Proline and he was able to schedule us for an inspection that day. He then took the time to completely look over our van and identify the problems with our bearings and suspension. He prepared a list of needed repairs that would allow us to get home safely as well as the other repairs that needed to be done that he could do or that my mechanic could do when I got home. He was honest on what needed to be immediately done and his prices were reasonable so we had him do all the work. He kept us informed of his progress and went the extra mile to make sure our van was repaired in time for my family to go home when we needed to. The van ran perfectly on the way home and it has been well over a week since the repair and we are still happy with Lamar's work. We would recommend him and Proline for anyone that needs repairs.

I had my clutch upgraded to a stage 3 clutch at a shop in Chula Vista on my 17 Civic Si and that mechanic did more damage than actually doing the job. I had my downpipe and front pipe reinstalled incorrectly, my shifter kept locking me out of gears, metallic sound as I drive in low RPMs, and an oil leak from my turbo oil return hose! My knock control was staying very high since i received my vehicle from the clutch job. The mechanic couldn't fix what he damaged so I took it to Lamar at Proline. Lamar adjusted my front pipe and the sound was there but not as bad so he didn't charge me for the labor. I drove home then gave him a call an hour later and told him to do whatever it takes to fix it and that i noticed oil on the ground. His response was, "I'll figure it out don't worry about it". I dropped my Si at Proline and an hour later, He calls me and notifies me that was turbo oil return line was damaged. He ordered it from Honda that same day to fix that issue the next day. He texted me "civic is done" I told him that I'd be leaving work late and he waited for me after closing hours just to pick up my car. I received my car running absolutely perfect with no metal rubbing sound, no oil leak, and perfect shifting. The price he charged me was technically the price for the part. Just as he told me before he did the work and nothing more. I should have took it to Proline first. I would of saved myself a headache. I definitely recommend going here first if you want the job done correctly and in a timely fashion. Now just need to wait for springs to be released for my car and I'll definitely be back at Proline.

Would give ZERO stars if possible. I made an appointment online for 8am. Showed up at 8am, and was told by the owner (not the mechanic anymore) that the appointments start at 9am, and to come back at 9am because that is when the mechanic (owner’s son) arrives. I leave, then return at 9am. The owner calls his son (mechanic) at home to tell him to come to work, because there were 2 customers waiting. I waited until 9:20 am, then left. My time is more valuable than money. I want to pay a mechanic, so I can save my time. I will not give this mechanic my time and money both. This establishment (Proline Automotive) owes me for 1 hour and 20 minutes of my time.
