Sammy is the only guy I took my crashed 91 Toyota Celica to that didn't try to rip me off. And thank god because I had to use my last AAA tow to get to him. I thought my axle was bent and he quoted me just $100 for labor. (The next best quote I got was $345 labor) and then whatever the price of a new axel was on top of it. (Was looking close to $250 all in with Sammy) He then called me to let me know it was all done and that it was just my steering rod that was bent, not the axle and so it ended up being just $100 for parts AND labor!!! I then asked him to take a look at my death trap brakes and an electrical issue I had with my alternator and he did. He fixed it all for a grand total of $165 out the door.... I couldn't believe it. I have finally found a new honest and very reasonable guy in LA (which has been VERY tough since Leo's Automotive on Pico closed down) this guy knows how to do business, how to make his customers happy and how to keep them returning and recommending to all their friends because Sammy is what every unsure person with car troubles and trust issues needs. My friend (I won't use your name Rashi.... Whoops!) got me in contact with Sammy after using him himself and only had great things to say about him. Now that I have had a similar experience, I'll be recommending everyone I know that is having car trouble, to him. I'm not going anywhere else now and so all you $345 and above mechanics can GFY or at least GFEO.....

I highly recommend California Automotive . They were very helpful and they went out of their way to ensure I was completely satisfied as I walk out, I was helped by Francisco, who was kind enough to go through the process with me and ensure a was happy and satisfied with the repair. I will definitely return in the future for any repairs I might need. Highly recommended this place.

Went hear was directed to speak with Fransisco. I told him what the issue was but he charged me $30 to look at my car. I think it was a fee he made up. He gave me a price and I told him no thank you it’s too much. Fransisco asked me “did you get you’re stimulus check and said that’s how his friend is paying for his car. How professional. After everything he told me he filled my car up with water. So kind

Provided incorrect information to increase the price. Was charged just under $500 for a part (Starter for a 2015 VW Jetta), the one they replaced it with is like $75 at O'reilly Auto Parts. Told me my battery was dead as well and needed to be replaced, I brought my own battery and took the old core to be tested. Tested fine. In the future I would go to Cal's auto right around the corner.

FAR from Quality! I drove in, well as far as I could. This place has minimal parking at best. Asked for quote for oil change and tune up.... the attached is what I got! Terrible! ONLY way to get spark plugs replaced in a tuneup is to replace valve cover gaskets? Smh I'm out! Quote was a joke. Referred to Bureau of automotive repair who found many errors & who will be following up with them on my complaint.

They are honest. I had my catalytic converted stolen. Yeah it’s a think apparently. I called them up and they were able to find one for me when everything else back order for 3 months. I’ve gone here 2x. Once for my catalytic converter. The other time for my suspension. I called around and they were the best priced and most honest. We were able to communicate constantly via text and phone. Amazing customer service.

I could not have had a better experience. Very professional and great communication. I had 2 issues fixed with my engine and my break pads replaced. Pricing was fair compared to other places I have been and the customer service here is unbeatable. I added on a car wash and it was the most thorough clean I’ve ever had from a car wash. The attention to detail was impeccable. I’ll definitely be taking my car back in the future for any maintenance it needs.

10 STAR review from me! My first time and now a loyal customer! Fuel pump which I knew was bad, they had it replaced and running 100% in hours. Not days! FYI, it's a very difficult job and the fuel tank has to be completely removed, I researched it and they are true technicians not random mechanics! Fair price. Job completed to perfection. My truck is not serviceable through a computer diagnostic system so you have to know your stuff to work on it. Now they have my business for my Tahoe as well. I'll never need to look for a automotive technician again. Top notch guys,Thanks again! Pete. FYI. I'm the guy with the 1994 Chevy C1500 Long Bed.

Scheduled a few days in advance, came in early, the mechanic (sorry I forgot to get his name) let me know his opinion before the pre-purchase inspection started; when the seller came with the car, it ended up being better than what we were worried about. Him and his men did a great job explaining many things in detail and what I should be concerned about from most to least. The whole process was under an hour and referred me the closest smog test which was also under an hour. It seems like every base was touched and I’m praying that, with my maintenance upkeep, that this purchase was a smart one! Thank you Quality Automotive!
