I've been to several auto shops in the Redding area and most I didn't like for one reason or another. This was my first time going to R&R Auto and working with Rick on getting some repairs on my vehicle. The service was great from the beginning, Rick is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to get my vehicle back on the road running better than ever. He got me scheduled and in just a few days later and quickly got my vehicle repaired and back to me. He kept me up to date with the progress which was a great piece of mind. Its such a relief and a good feeling to experience a auto shop that is 100% professional, quick and does a great job. I can't tell you how many shops I've been to where I have to wait weeks to get my vehicle in and then when it is in the shop it sits there for weeks until it's done. I was quite impressed at how much work was done in a quick manner and the great quality of work done. I could tell they really care and work hard to get the job done right and have the vehicle back to the customer asap. I will definitely be back in the future. Thanks Rick!

My car broke down on my way to Santa Cruz and Rick and his team helped get my car fixed up right before the shop closed the same day. They knew I had an important workshop to make it to and helped me get there on time. Honest, committed people, and I'm extremely grateful to all of them!! They even helped give me rides to and from a few places in town. If give 10 stars if I could. My car couldn't have picked a better place to break down.

If you need your car fixed or break down anywhere in the area this is the place to go. We broke down on our way back to myrtle creek or from yuba city. We called 4 shops and the soonest any of them could get us in was 2weeks. Then called r & r and they had us bring it right in and got it fixed in a timely manner. Very friendly and helpful. I've been In plenty of shops in my 52 years and this one is the best

Always very happy with the service I receive from Rick and his team. I've taken 3 cars here and will continue taking all my vehicles to them. They are honest and fair, they give you a very clear breakdown of each repair and cost so you can see everything you're paying for and keep track of the services that were done in a nice detailed layout. Super knowledgeable mechanics and have always been done the same day. Rick even let me borrow his shop truck before so I didn't have to walk home in the heat. Love these guys!

Car broke down on a trip to Washington. They got me in for a diagnosis right away. Fee felt a little steep, but things cost money. And it was a no win situation. They took time to discuss the problem, and investigate my options. Repairs were more than I was willing to put into the car. Stored vehicle over the weekend at no charge and were super accommodating to my needs. Friendly staff, I have no complaints and would feel comfortable having repairs done here. Bill was an absolute Godsend. Loaded up me, my dog, a car full of stuff and hauled us to a motel. He made himself available over the weekend while I figured out a tow. Helped me load it on the trailer and made sure I was good before leaving the premises. Thank you!

We had R&R Auto Truck Repair pull the engine out of a 1985 El Camino. After the motor was rebuilt they reinstalled the motor. They also replaced the HVAC system in the truck. R&R did a great job.

I came to R&R with an engine light on coming from LA heading to Medford, I was so scared my car was done for but Rick and his team were so kind and understanding that they took me in right when it happened. I had called other places to help me out and R&R was the only one to say “come on in and lets get you fixed up” There aren't words to describe how grateful I am for the service I received but most importantly the hospitality I received. Been waiting a long time to find a shop that is experienced with classics. I was referred to R&R for a total rewire on my 57 Chevy truck. I'm extremely pleased with the job and no longer embarrassed by the giant bee hive of 67 year old wiring. They did so well I had my transmission, rear diff and power steering pump serviced as well. My truck was also a victim of vapor lock, I just never felt confident driving around. I've owned the 57 for 11 years, bought from my father and the problem has always been there. So I had Rick take a shot at fixing it. He did! Truck has never ran better. I'll be using R&R for my 57 from now on!

Started using R&R about two years ago. Rick has been extremely helpful and servicing numerous vehicles, including a 38 foot diesel pusher bus. Very attentive to our needs, and completing the task in a timely matter. Their invoices, I would say are reasonable. Some people might consider them high, in my world. I’m so happy to have people like them in my court, that I consider invoices more than acceptable for the service that you’re receiving. It’s a good feeling when I pick something up that I know it has been thoroughly gone through and I don’t have to worry. Good service in this day and age is very hard to find.
