This man here goes the EXTRA MILE, EXTRA TIME EXTRA STEP . His shop is very clean. He is very professional. His prices are on point. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR YOUR CAR,TRUCK, SUV whatever you drive if you want to keep driving it safe, see if dude. Oh yeah he's a good AC man, I'm cooling as I drive. Mon, Aug 15th i called, told Raul my issue with driver window stuck in down position. He had me go in. He had his mechanic remove cover on inside door below window. After a couple of hours, he said. He’d order part and it would be in either between 10-12pm, or 2-4pm next day, and he’d call me. I drove home i waited & heard nothing from him all day Tuesday. I called Wed 8:30am and asked what happened. He said, the part didn’t come. Should come that day. He’d call me. And said, “Yes, please do keep me in the loop. I want to know whats going on”. He said it should arrive in afternoon. I called late in afternoon asking whats going on, i’m used to mechanics, returning my calls & lmk what’s going on. He said he wasn't at the shop and had to call & ask if part came in. I said, “Ok, will you call me back?” He said, “Yes, give me 15-20 mins”. Over an hour later i again called. This time he said he received the wrong part (window regulator). That they sent one for a gas car, and my 2014 Fiat e is electric. However i had given him the vin number, so pretty hard to get incorrect part. At that point, I told Raul i felt he was giving me the run around, as he never called to lmk what’s going on. I was pretty upset snd told him i just needed him to be straight with me. He said he was and he’d get the right part if he had to drive to pick it up himself. 4 days have passed since he texted and said he’d call me when he got the part. I NEVER heard back from him. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I selected him because of his 5 star rating. He really fooled me. Raul, you should really be ashamed of yourself giving a elderly woman like myself the run around. I can not imagine how you stay in business lying to your customers. Just know, we do reap what we sow. Sad for you, Beatriz

Hi I've been going to Raul ever since I had a problem with my 2011 Kia optima sx steering wheel feeling vibration when driving on highway he was nice to drive it with me and checked my car had a recall on this issue and helped me with that. Just recently he fixed an oil leak on my timing cover he replaced it made sure everything was ok before letting me leave out of his shop made sure I was happy with his job and up to now no more oil leak.Raul is always friendly and happy to help me with car problems kind of like a friend. Raul is the most honest mechanic I've been to. I've been to two dealerships saying I need to get my head gasket and carriers replaced AND that my a/c compressor needs replacing. Both would have totaled over $5k in repairs. I took it to Raul and he found nothing wrong with my engine, no leaks. The a/c compressor is perfectly fine, but the system was low on freon. So he hooked it up and recharged the system. Straight foreward and honest. No pulling my leg and or trying to pull a fast one on me. I will take my car to him in the future for sure. By the way, my car is 2015 WRX. Just for reference.

I have 2007 Nitro that was down for long time I was getting ready to sell it until Raul stepped in he fixed and got it running for a great price. I'm so happy that I had Raul & his team service my AC before the warmer summer days began! It now blasts ice cold in a matter of minutes and I have passengers complaining how cold it is. He also diagnosed a check engine light for me. I asked for alternative remedies knowing that it would be a temporary fix and ultimately would need to address the problem. I think it is important to note that all car services can be pricey and nothing is a guarantee, at the end of the day it is an investment. I appreciate Raul's honesty each and every time.

Raul is such an awesome mechanic. I initially came into contact with Raul through a coworker and he did such an excellent job on her car that I immediately knew where I was going to be taking my car the next time it needed maintenance. That time came sooner than expected and Raul was flexible regarding when he was able to accommodate me on short notice. The work Raul did on my car is nothing short of exemplary and he even detailed my car afterward and refused payment for the detailing. I have never had anything close to this level of service from a mechanic. Raul is much more than a mechanic as well, as he has several projects in the works and is expanding his business. That is not at all surprising, considering the level of service that Raul provides. I will be taking my car to Raul from here on out and will continue to refer him to friends, as he is a paradigm mechanic amongst a sea of mediocrity. In short, Raul is the man, cheers!

I just got home from Raul's and I came directly to my yelp to say how amazing he is. I went in to have my AC fixed, which he did in a timely and cost effective manner. When I had an issue with it a few weeks later, he found the faulty valve, replaced it, had my car detailed and refused payment for the service. He was also great about fixing my partners side-view mirror. It is so rare to find the level of friendly personal service at a fair price. Raul's is a model mechanic amongst the sea of mediocre auto shops on El Cajon.

This is the mythical and proverbial honest mechanic you've been looking for. Repeat customer. Most recently did a job for $1600 that another shop quoted my daughter $3300 for, and that wasn't including extra work like a new drivers window, alignment, and this is because the other shops parts costs were super inflated, and Raul had great deals. He actually told me that some of the parts were still good that the other shop was trying to chisel me for. I've always had good experiences here and get extra work done with the savings. Had come to Raul about a diagnostic check over after being referred to him. Him and his team were very thorough and comforting compared to the work that needed to be done. Was requested to order parts myself and then come back to the shop and they'd take care of labor at a great price offered by Raul. My car now rides far smoother and I'll be going to them again. Raul is very friendly and reliable and the pricing is very affordable when it comes to fixing things and he also makes sure to get you back on the road safely before having your vehicle leave the shop. Raul has fixed alot on my car including replacing my lower control arms, sub frame bushings torn and what would have cost me thousands of dollars with the dealership to get fix and saved alot of money.
