Ricky is lying. I was never trespassed years ago. In fact, the opposite is true. He was begging me for more time to finish my head gasket, and to do a new repair, and for my forgiveness for poor service. Since you want to lie about me in response to my wordless review and involve my parents who shouldn't be involved, I'll add context, too. I'll be in contact with an attorney to address these defamatory lies. Unlike last time when I had to tell Ricky I was talking to an attorney, I'm not letting it go now. I'm also taking this to the BBB, and anywhere else where I might gain some remedy or satisfaction. Threats? I'll see you in court if you're going to tell people I threatened you. I've gotten multiple campaign stars without threatening anyone. To think I'd start with you. Really, Ricky was apologetic in person because he was the one in the wrong. I accepted it and let it be. (He even thanked me for my service, I'm a disabled veteran.) He seemed remorseful, So, I let it go until they decided to treat me like dirt. I guess they can't ignore a one-star review like they can ignore all my phone calls for several months running while they were unable or unwilling to update me on the status of my car. Do you want context? I've got that for you. I've got lots of context. They took 6 months to change my head gasket. Immediately after, I had to limp the car to Nissan because the ERG system was connected wrong. At the time, Ricky apologized and admitted his shop messed up. I almost left a review at the time but decided to let it go. At that time, I decided to drop the official complaint that I'd put in through the mechanic's board. I was really trying to let it go. Again, I wasn't trespassed or even politely asked to leave. In fact, at the end, after I informed Ricky that I was taking my car back fixed or not, Ricky begged me to let him also change the oil pump. l agreed and gave him a couple extra days instead of bringing a flatbed to take the pieces of my car back. I shook his hand and forgave him. So, there was no notice I was trespassing. There was only me shaking Ricky's hand and telling him I forgave him, and him begging me to keep working on my car. Maybe during all that begging for more time with my car and for forgiveness, he just forgot to tell me I wasn't welcome. Then, much later, a couple of weeks ago, me and my dad and daughter and I tried to take a car to get the code scanned (the only thing I'd trust them to do). They told us they had a restraining order against me, which is not true, and that I'd have to walk down the street so they could help my daughter. I've never been served with a restraining order or trespassed from Ricky's. That was mean and rude, and a lie. That's when I left a one-star review. So, no, there was no trespassing. There were 6 months of poor service during which Ricky dodged my calls. There were lies from his secretary. There was harassment in response to me mentioning the terrible service and poor quality of work. There was zero attempt to fix my car after they messed it up. But no, never trespassed, never restrained, never arrested, never changed. Now they're calling my parents, lying to them about threats, tresspasses, and restraining orders. Fortunately, they know I dont threaten. And they know how restraining orders work. This is maniacal behavior. I'm not qualified to diagnose people. But, someone in that shop might need to go talk to a professional Is this how Ricky responds to everyone whose car he messes up? Well, he picked the wrong one now. I went out of my way to be patient and forgiving, and this is how they repaid me. Edited to add: as soon as I posted this, Ricky's secretary called my parents to scream at them. If this harassment continues, and these lies are not corrected, I will seek all possible civil and criminal remedies.

I’ve been going to Ricardo’s automotive for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. Ricky has gone above and beyond to get me set up and back on the road. I have a ford f150 that is sentimental to me and everyone kept telling me to get rid of it and buy a new one and Ricky worked with me to get it back on the road! I brought my Honda in because my AC was not working very well. I came in on a Saturday and was told it would be done Monday which was great to know since you don't want to be driving without AC in this heat. I thought it would be a quick maintenance needed but after they had some time to look at my car they informed me more repair and parts were needed. That's never good to hear but I am hopeful this will take care of my AC problem as I would like to keep this car for years to come. I am supposed to pick up my car today so I will update after. Also the women up front were very helpful and friendly!

During my Christmas shopping, my car left me stranded in the middle of the road so upon my car getting towed I came across Ricardo Diaz Automotive shop on Google and based on the reviews I decided to choose this location to bring my vehicle in. Upon arrival I was assisted right away and everyone was super friendly. Liz, Ana, and Ricardo knew what stress I was in and made the experience so much better to ease my mind. Good news is that I just needed a new battery. The battery arrival time was after hours and instead of having me figure out a ride back home to porterville since they were closed already, Ricardo and Ana stayed over just to finish on my car. I’m super thankful for Ricardo and his team and I recommend this place to everyone!!!

On our way back from camping near Yosemite we had an emergency with our hitch on our VW sport wagon where we couldn't go any further without a fix. This happened on Labor day and we were worried there may not be anyone open or available to assist us. We called Ricardo Diaz Automotive Repair and they couldn't have been nicer. They came out to assess the situation and they took us in right away at the garage and fixed the problem. I can't recommend this automotive repair shop enough. The staff in front was super friendly and let our dog hang out in waiting area since it was really hot outside and she got a treat as well. Great service, friendliest staff and all around awesome experience. Thank you to everyone at Ricardo Diaz Automotive Repair!

This is the account I have used for all reviews for many years for Google. But yeah, let me know when you can fix the oldie car. I'm pretty sure you know what vehicle I'm talking about. Hopefully, the issue can be fixed directly. But I'm pretty sure it was your shop as well. Unless there is another shop with your name in the town, which I doubt it. Update 3: Never admitted being a fake account? This is a real account, so idk where you got. Oh, he uses a fake account with fake reviews. I'm not. I'm just exposing the truth! Sorry that truth hurts. (Also if this was a fake account why would I have over 700 reviews? Like cmon use common sense)

I am very happy with the business we received here. Not only did they call us to let us know each time they found something wrong with our car, they also advised us of the cost with labor before making any repairs. We were updated every single time something was found, and they didn't fix anything without our permission. I'm EXTREMELY impressed with their service. Ricky's staff were friendly, welcoming, and responsive. Took my sons truck to work on some AC issues and to get his front headlights to get refurbished! Great service again! Staff very friendly and would update me throughout the day about truck. AC is working great and truck headlights literally look brand new! I’ve already recommended Ricardo’s shop to family and friends. Another thing I really liked was the staff sent me a mini video on the parts that are needing to be replaced for future reference which I really liked that they do that. I was able to see what part needs to be replaced. My son was so happy when he saw how amazing his new refurbished headlights looked. Put a big smile on his face and mine. Thank you all for the great job! I will be taking it back to Ricardo’s shop for future work.

Really great service! I had a really bad experience with a car I had for less than a year and it was in and out of service departments with no answers but Ricky was seriously so helpful. Everything was laid out in a way that was easy to understand and I left with answers instead of more questions. Every experience I’ve had with mechanics and service repair shops I’ve been talked at and was left not really knowing what was wrong and what was fixed but Ricky was very detailed and showed me what was wrong, what my options were, and helped me find a mechanic closer to where I live.
