Have only gone here for state inspections, both times they were fast, cheap, and replaced my break lights that i did not know were out.( they burn out a lot on my car.) Just careful pulling in and out unto the street, and also they don't have a lot of parking.

Giving a 1 star review based off TERRIBLE customer interaction. I called them to get a price quote and upon answering the phone the gentleman came across with a slight attitude, I then try to tell him why I called and he proceeds to cut me off and have a whole other conversation with somebody else around him. Trashy customer interaction off jump and that shows alot about a business without even stepping foot in the building. Definitely don’t waste your time with these clowns.

I have gotten my inspections done here & other car maintenance & every time, Riveras auto shop gets the job done! I know I must get on their nerves bc any & every time my car does something unusual to me, I'm on the phone calling them, and they're always willing to help. They have the best prices hands down. Very professional. I'll recommend any one to them. Thank you, Jesse! You are always great when it comes to me & my Durango lol .. & thanks to the mechanics as well. All of yall are very much appreciated.

I was TDY around this place at Killeen. My civilian husband researched and called this shop for me to get the van/camper to have its spark plugs replaced. I was kinda comfortable knowing it's a veteran owned business. But after paying and the second I drove off from their shop to go home to San Antonio, I knew there was something wrong. Even though I don't know a lot about cars, I can hear that there's something wrong. Something was banging lodly as well. It doesn't sound like that before i went to this shop. So, at the red lights, I rerouted it back to this shop. It stopped working suddenly--good thing it was downhill so I barely got back to the shop. The worst part is that something caught on fire. I have to leave the van/camper here. And I have to wait about 3 hrs for my husband to pick me up because they are closing and it was a Friday night. They were kind to offer a ride, but i don't know where to go, so it was useless... I'm safe, and about 6.5 weeks child inside me is safe. That was all I cared about. Whoever installed the spark plugs did not admit that they installed the new spark plugs incorrectly. They claim it was the carburetor that had a problem. But the mechanic who has checked and helped my husband clean the carburetor before this incident knows that wasn't the case. When we got back on Monday, the minute our mechanic friend talked to them on the phone then all of a sudden everything was good. They fixed it, and all is good. But the fact that I was at risk and no admitting of their mistakes, I'll give a 2 star and will not recommend it.

Went in to get my Thermostat replaced. They took care of it very quickly and did a great job. They also told me my fan relays were the issue and even stayed late to help me get back rolling. Their mechanic Bryan stayed after 4 1/2 hours addressing other issues with my car to make it safe again. Even gave me rides to the parts store so he could fix my other issues. Never asked for a dime just wanted to help a costumer.

We needed to get new brake pads and a new rotor installed on our 2013 equinox and we called around all over Killeen, we got price quotes as high as $700 and the average was around the $360 mark. We went to Rivera auto repair and they said they could do it for $135 dollars and we just needed to get the parts. I was so shocked at such a low price compared to everywhere else. Got the parts myself at O'Reilly's for $127.51 and brought them back and their mechanic was finished in 25 minutes or less. This was the best service from a auto repair shop that I have had in Texas in the last 10 years. Truly amazing. Great price, and super fast. The mechanic even checked other things on the car and said that we will need to replace the back passenger tire in the near future but it should be fine for now and just to keep an eye on it. Very friendly and very honest which is hard to find nowadays. 5 Stars for Rivera auto repair I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a brake job or any other auto repair needs.

I've used this shop for a couple years now. Always have been reasonable. Speediness was always a variable but always did their best. Here lately, they've had more business than they can handle it seems. And quality in all areas has become non-existent. Two months ago took my truck in for many issues, purchased parts myself. Parts included upper control arms. Turns out they were not greased after installation. Nothing they will do. After years of loyalty, nothing.

Same guy did excellent work on 2 of my vehicles, one a Subaru the other a Dodge. Within an hour, both vehicles were back on the road, including the 20 minutes I spent driving to and from my house to swap vehicles. Amazing prices. I tipped generously for amazing service and he thought it was a mistake and offered my money back, and that’s exactly how I know this is an honest shop. I’ll never bring my vehicles anywhere else for this type of service.

Last year 2017 I took car in to have car horn repaired and get inspection done. I paid over $100 the horn worked for two Days. Apparently, they wired it improperly that the wire was hanging under car, got caught on something and ripped. I took it in this year 2018, explained what happened. And was told I should’ve brought it back immediately. I get it! I waited too long. I paid them another $30 for them to rewire/fix it. I was expecting them to take good care of me since I was giving them another chance to prove they Expertise and professionalism. Very disappointed. Sloppiest job ever! They bent the plastic cover underneath hood, lost my screws and taped wires together and left exposed. The Rivera’s shop should stick to just doing inspections. It is NOT a car shop for repairs. Please view pictures. Oh, When I called them this morning. No refund, I was told me to bring it back in. Thanks but No thanks! You’re not going to damage anything else in my car. I’ll take that lost again!

We got stranded in Killeen TX coming from N.M. we hit a huge hog with my new SUV late at night. Got towed into this town, and needed help. After hiring a sheisty "mechanic" that knew we were in a bind, and tried to charge us thousands to fix it, we were told about Riveras. I called them up and talked to Jesse. He had his tow person tow my car there. We got the best deal possible, and we were treated very good. Being so far from home and not knowing anyone at all, these guys make u feel at home. Needless to say our car was fixed and we were headed back home a couple of days later. These guys are hands down some good mechanics and good people. If I ever am in that area in the future Riveras Auto will b the only ones to work on my car. Thanks guys! You saved us😁😁😁😁😁
